Miracle Patterns Part 6: Confessions That Move Mountains

The final part of this series revolves around the profound impact of our confessions and the power inherent in our words. We are unequivocally reminded that speaking God's Word can indeed move mountains in our lives, as articulated in Mark 11:23. It is emphasized that while God's promises are unequivocally affirmative, they necessitate our active participation through faith-filled confessions. Through the teachings shared today, we delve into the significance of aligning our words with our beliefs, thereby facilitating the manifestation of divine promises. As we engage in prayer, we invite listeners to embrace this transformative message, encouraging them to internalize and vocalize their faith in God’s goodness to witness profound breakthroughs in their lives.

Takeaways:

  • The power of our words is crucial in manifesting God's promises, as they can either create or destroy.
  • Faith in God requires speaking words that align with our beliefs, which can move mountains in our lives.
  • Understanding and applying the patterns of miracles leads to regular manifestations of God's goodness and healing.
  • We must believe we have received what we pray for at the moment of prayer to see tangible results in our lives.

Speaker A:

Welcome to Power Hour where we believe it is God's will for you to be well.

Speaker A:

I'm your host, Kylie Terradez and this podcast is created from the weekly live streams that I do every Thursday at 1pm Mountain time.

Speaker A:

Whether you tune in live or listen later, this message is something that you can receive today.

Speaker A:

Let's get started.

Speaker A:

Well, here we are.

Speaker A:

It is that time again.

Speaker A:

It is time for Power Hour.

Speaker A:

We're going to be finishing up our series here on Miracle Patterns.

Speaker A:

This is like, it's been like six parts, it ended up being a long one.

Speaker A:

But today we're going to be talking about confessions that move mountains.

Speaker A:

You know, our words are so powerful and they're a huge part of us seeing the promises of God play out in our life.

Speaker A:

You know, the promises of God are yes and amen, but they're not automatic.

Speaker A:

They're not automatic.

Speaker A:

Miracles have patterns.

Speaker A:

And when we understand the patterns and the spiritual realm that God has laid out and the rules by which he lives by, Guy will start to speak the same language as him, talk the same things as him, or walk the same walk as him.

Speaker A:

We'll start to see manifestations on a more regular basis.

Speaker A:

So if you're just joining here this series, this is the first program that you have called in this, in this six part series.

Speaker A:

You're going to want to go back and watch the other episodes on Miracle Patterns.

Speaker A:

We have covered so many different things that we're not going to recap them all now.

Speaker A:

We don't have time, but I would encourage you to go back and make sure that you check that out.

Speaker A:

So today we're going to be looking at confessions that move mountains.

Speaker A:

Man, this is going to be powerful.

Speaker A:

So make sure you've shared this stream if you haven't already.

Speaker A:

Let's take a moment and pray.

Speaker A:

Father God, I thank you that you are here with us today.

Speaker A:

Wherever we're watching from, Lord, whether we're watching live or whether we're watching at some point in the future, you know exactly when we need it and where we are and when we're listening.

Speaker A:

Holy Spirit, help us to have ears to hear and just a mind to understand and the heart to receive everything that you have for us.

Speaker A:

In Jesus name, Amen.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Jump on over here.

Speaker A:

Now.

Speaker A:

We mentioned this last week briefly, but we mentioned verse 25.

Speaker A:

I want to back up here.

Speaker A:

We're going to go over to mark 11 confessions that move mountains.

Speaker A:

Let's get down to business on this, right?

Speaker A:

It says here we're going to jump into verse 20 says, in the morning as they passed by, they saw the fig tree on, withered up from the roots.

Speaker A:

Now, Jesus, just before this, had cursed the fig tree, right?

Speaker A:

It says, in the morning as they passed by.

Speaker A:

And the reason he.

Speaker A:

He cursed the fig tree was because it was a fake fig tree that wasn't producing figs, right?

Speaker A:

It was, it was a deceitful fig tree.

Speaker A:

And Jesus doesn't, Doesn't, doesn't like that.

Speaker A:

He didn't like that.

Speaker A:

So he started to.

Speaker A:

He started to curse it and it started to wither up from the roots.

Speaker A:

And Peter said, calling to his remembrance, he said to him, rabbi, look, it's that fig tree that you curse.

Speaker A:

It is with.

Speaker A:

You know, Jesus's words had power in that moment.

Speaker A:

They went directly into the roots of the fig tree and started.

Speaker A:

That curse was powerful.

Speaker A:

You know, what comes out of our mouth is hugely important, the price of words.

Speaker A:

You know, we think, well, words are cheap words.

Speaker A:

It's easy to say words, but you know what?

Speaker A:

They have a great impact on people.

Speaker A:

When I was little, you know, we used to be taught, sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt you.

Speaker A:

You know, and actually, as I've grown to adulthood, I've realized that words are much more damaging than physical injury sometimes.

Speaker A:

You know, it's true that those, those bones will heal, those scars will mend.

Speaker A:

But there are scars on the inside caused by words that people carry for a lifetime, carry for generations, that people cannot see.

Speaker A:

And they can cause a lot more problems than a physical injury.

Speaker A:

Sometimes that will just heal itself.

Speaker A:

So these words that come out of our mouth, hugely powerful, they can be used for destroying things.

Speaker A:

When we curse things, they can be used for fighting it against the lies of the enemy.

Speaker A:

And they can also be used to bring life, life and death.

Speaker A:

It says in proverbs, are in the power of the tongue.

Speaker A:

Life and death, death and life in the power of the tongue.

Speaker A:

Our words are vastly important.

Speaker A:

You know, when the world was created, it was spoken into being.

Speaker A:

That's the creative power of words.

Speaker A:

That and miracles followed the same pattern.

Speaker A:

We have a teaching called manifesting Miracles, Confession, Creation and Manifestation.

Speaker A:

I would encourage you to check that one out.

Speaker A:

You have a say in what you see.

Speaker A:

But, you know, words create things.

Speaker A:

They create a mess or they create a message, or they create a blessing, right?

Speaker A:

Words create something.

Speaker A:

And what Jesus did here, because this fig tree was actually going against its natural function.

Speaker A:

It was, it was, it was, it was not producing when it should have been.

Speaker A:

It was a fake fig tree.

Speaker A:

It said that Jesus cursed it and it withered up from its roots.

Speaker A:

You see, our words sometimes have an effect in areas that we cannot see.

Speaker A:

Sometimes we, we think we, we speak something, we don't realize the full impact of those words because it's not happening in a realm that we can see.

Speaker A:

You know, when Jesus cursed that fig tree, it says here, it was the next day they noticed in the morning they passed by the fig tree and withered up from the roots.

Speaker A:

Well, if you look at the same account in the other gospels, Matthew's account, Matthew 21, it says immediately that Jesus spoke that fig tree with it withered up.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

Now both accounts are true.

Speaker A:

It's just the perception of that truth which has changed.

Speaker A:

People see things when they see it from a different perspective.

Speaker A:

It's the same truth, but it looks different depending what angle they're looking from.

Speaker A:

Well, immediately that the words left Jesus mouth, as Matthew says, you know what, they had an effect.

Speaker A:

Immediately that those words left his mouth, they went and they had an effect, but they had an effect where people couldn't see it yet.

Speaker A:

And from Mark's account here we can see that the effect that they had was immediately was on the roots which were underground.

Speaker A:

Now Jesus answered them.

Speaker A:

Look on verse 22.

Speaker A:

And Jesus answered them, have faith in God.

Speaker A:

Why would he say have faith in God?

Speaker A:

Because, you know, sometimes we have to believe things before we see it.

Speaker A:

We have to believe in something that we cannot see with our natural realm, with our natural eyes.

Speaker A:

We see by the eyes of faith.

Speaker A:

We put our trust in the word of God beyond what we can see with our natural eyesight.

Speaker A:

You know, this, this, this faith thing is a big deal.

Speaker A:

Faith is not based on our emotions.

Speaker A:

It's not based on something physical.

Speaker A:

It's not based always on things that, that are tangible immediately.

Speaker A:

But when we put faith or trust and confidence in what God has said about our problem, there is something that shifts from the spiritual realm into a physical realm that enables God to move on our behalf.

Speaker A:

Jesus said to them, have faith in God, verse 23.

Speaker A:

For truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain be removed and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes what he says will come to pass.

Speaker A:

He will have whatever he says.

Speaker A:

Now there's a lot going on here.

Speaker A:

Hang on a second.

Speaker A:

Let me just make sure.

Speaker A:

My computer may well have gone to sleep.

Speaker A:

Hang on a second.

Speaker A:

Something has happened here.

Speaker A:

Bear with me just a second because I don't know how to get back into this.

Speaker A:

Uh oh, hang on.

Speaker A:

Hang on, hang on, hang on, hang on.

Speaker A:

Texting.

Speaker A:

Texting for help.

Speaker A:

Okay, well, I'm gonna read here again.

Speaker A:

It says, have faith in God, for truly, I say to you, if it says this mountain be removed and thrown into the sea, and does not doubt in heart is hot, but believes that whatever he says will come to pass.

Speaker A:

He will.

Speaker A:

He will have whatever he says.

Speaker A:

This is hugely important.

Speaker A:

There's a whole lot in this.

Speaker A:

First of all, I want you to understand that why Jesus uses an example of a mountain, it's because he's standing.

Speaker A:

Look, whatever he says to this mountain, he was giving an analogy that however big your problem is, however big your problem is, you know, mountains are a huge physical thing.

Speaker A:

You know, to imagine seeing a mountain coming on and diving into the sea, that just seems so big.

Speaker A:

But he was using an analogy of something that people could actually see.

Speaker A:

And so he's saying, if your problem is big, no matter how big your problem is, is it as big as this giant mountain that we're standing next to?

Speaker A:

Your words, your faith in God are more powerful.

Speaker A:

They're powerful enough to move something that in the natural seems physically impossible to overcome or to shift.

Speaker A:

He was given an example, saying, that is how powerful your words are.

Speaker A:

That is how powerful your faith in God is.

Speaker A:

That when we connect the two, when we connect what we say with what we believe, massive, gigantic mountains in the natural will fall into the sea.

Speaker A:

That is the importance of matching our words up with what we believe.

Speaker A:

We need to make sure that we're on the same page here.

Speaker A:

It says, be it will be removed and thrown into the sea and does not doubt in his heart.

Speaker A:

You know, your heart is where doubt comes from.

Speaker A:

Your heart is your mind, your will and your emotions.

Speaker A:

And those you know, your heart is moved by things that it sees in the natural.

Speaker A:

If we see something scary, if we hear something traumatic, if we hear a bad report, if we sense something with our five senses, our heart, our mind, our will and emotions can be moved away from our faith in God.

Speaker A:

And that is where doubts arise.

Speaker A:

Because we.

Speaker A:

What we do is sometimes we are so connected with our five senses that we forget that we have a sixth sense, that is our faith sense, that we're not only physical beings in a physical world, but we're spiritual beings in a physical body.

Speaker A:

And if we want to see things in the spirit realm, that.

Speaker A:

And you know what we're talking about here, specifically on Power Hour, we tend to talk more about healing than anything else here because that's what people need.

Speaker A:

But, you know, what our healing is already paid for in the spirit realm.

Speaker A:

Jesus already paid for our healing in the spirit realm.

Speaker A:

And so when we connect with God in the spirit realm, we move those spiritual promises into a physical realm.

Speaker A:

And we do that by matching our words up with what we believe.

Speaker A:

And we're allowing those things to come up out of our mouth.

Speaker A:

Right.

Speaker A:

I just want to make sure this doesn't go to sleep on me.

Speaker A:

The little side note here, my computer went to sleep.

Speaker A:

That was the problem.

Speaker A:

So, okay, let's.

Speaker A:

Let's go on down here.

Speaker A:

Therefore, I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you will receive them and you will have them.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

This is.

Speaker A:

This is a point in time.

Speaker A:

We can't ask God for something and think it's going to be out there, coming soon to a life near us.

Speaker A:

Sometimes the reasons that we don't see things manifest in our physical.

Speaker A:

In our physical body is because we don't have any kind of measure of expectation.

Speaker A:

That is now it says, when you pray, believe that you receive them when you pray.

Speaker A:

Not out there.

Speaker A:

Sometime, coming soon.

Speaker A:

A lot of prayers that I used to pray were unfulfilled because I had no expectation when it came to the time.

Speaker A:

One thing I like to do when I'm praying for people is I'll say to them, what can you believe God for right now?

Speaker A:

Let's make it now.

Speaker A:

Let's not make sure, let's not.

Speaker A:

You know, even the world understands this.

Speaker A:

You know, sometimes we go to these seminars in these conferences and different things, and I might go through goal setting, setting goals and different stuff.

Speaker A:

Well, they'll say, one of the things that makes a goal happen is you create a smart goal.

Speaker A:

And a smart goal is a goal that has a timeline.

Speaker A:

It is definitive.

Speaker A:

So we're not putting God in a box.

Speaker A:

We're not saying, you know, by this date, it's going to be like this.

Speaker A:

But we're saying, what can you believe God right now?

Speaker A:

Because faith, what we can receive when we pray is what we can believe for right in this moment.

Speaker A:

And it might.

Speaker A:

And I want to ask you that question, what can you believe for when we pray?

Speaker A:

What can you believe to change in that moment that we pray?

Speaker A:

This is, this is absolutely key because the devil would love to have you procrastinate.

Speaker A:

He would love to have you put things off and, and be distracted and think, well, you know, what healing is out there.

Speaker A:

It's for somebody else out there in the future.

Speaker A:

And if in.

Speaker A:

In the moment that you pray, that is your Belief system.

Speaker A:

Guess what's going to follow your words.

Speaker A:

Your confession isn't going to match up to what Jesus is saying here.

Speaker A:

It's going to be out there at some point in the future, and it's going to change the words that come out your mouth.

Speaker A:

It's going to literally change the way that you pray.

Speaker A:

This is why you're.

Speaker A:

This is why under this understanding here of now, what happens when you pray, the moment that you pray, believe that you receive, and you'll have those things.

Speaker A:

Those things the moment you pray.

Speaker A:

Now, it might not happen in a realm that you can see, but it is happening in a spirit realm.

Speaker A:

Something is moving.

Speaker A:

This is important.

Speaker A:

See, sometimes we pray for things and then we get discouraged because we think, well, we pray for something and we didn't see an immediate change.

Speaker A:

No, there's always an immediate change.

Speaker A:

But remember this victory story.

Speaker A:

Sometimes that immediate change is in.

Speaker A:

Is in a realm, a dimension that you don't see just yet.

Speaker A:

Doesn't mean nothing changed.

Speaker A:

It means you just can't see what happened, what changed just yet, right?

Speaker A:

So we have to hold on to it.

Speaker A:

Now, this word say, I want you to see this because there's.

Speaker A:

I'm counting here, Four times Jesus says the word say S A Y.

Speaker A:

He says the word say four times.

Speaker A:

He only says believe once.

Speaker A:

You see, the enemy doesn't really care what you believe.

Speaker A:

He cares what you believe and speak, right?

Speaker A:

So he's going to try to interrupt this process.

Speaker A:

There should be four times as much speaking as there is believing.

Speaker A:

We can believe something, but it's not going to manifest unless we speak what we believe.

Speaker A:

In 2nd Corinthians 4:13, it says we believe, and therefore we speak.

Speaker A:

We believe.

Speaker A:

What do we believe, therefore we speak it?

Speaker A:

You know, you can believe that Jesus is Lord.

Speaker A:

Well, guess what?

Speaker A:

The devil believes that too.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

The devil.

Speaker A:

The devil and his demons, they all know that Jesus is Lord too.

Speaker A:

They all.

Speaker A:

They all know what's going to happen, right?

Speaker A:

They know the future that's laid out for them.

Speaker A:

But what will you say about it?

Speaker A:

We can say, I believe the word of God.

Speaker A:

That's great.

Speaker A:

But do we speak the word of God?

Speaker A:

Do we say the word of God?

Speaker A:

Do we allow the word of God to come out of our lips as a part of our confession?

Speaker A:

Because those mountains aren't going to move unless we say something to them.

Speaker A:

And that something is not abracadabra.

Speaker A:

It's based on a belief that is in our heart.

Speaker A:

We're not speaking in order to convince ourselves of a Truth we're speaking because we believe a truth.

Speaker A:

There's a difference.

Speaker A:

Some.

Speaker A:

Sometimes we need to convince ourselves sometimes, and then this.

Speaker A:

I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

Speaker A:

Maybe you can't.

Speaker A:

Your confession isn't a confession of faith right now.

Speaker A:

Maybe you're just going through the motions of speaking something, almost like you're repeating something that you've heard somebody else say because it sounds good.

Speaker A:

But you know what?

Speaker A:

You're not seeing any results.

Speaker A:

That's okay.

Speaker A:

Sometimes we just need to learn like little children learn.

Speaker A:

You know, like little children, you say a word and they parrot after you.

Speaker A:

They don't necessarily know what they're saying, but they're just saying the words.

Speaker A:

But as the child grows into maturity, those words start to have meaning and they start to respond to those words.

Speaker A:

They're not just mimicking you.

Speaker A:

They're not just parroting something that somebody else has said anymore.

Speaker A:

Those words have meaning to them and they learn how to use them.

Speaker A:

Sometimes that's the process of maturity that happens in the heart of a believer.

Speaker A:

We hear somebody say something else, think, I like what they say.

Speaker A:

I maybe don't have a revelation on that yet, but I'm going to.

Speaker A:

I'm going to make that my confession.

Speaker A:

Until that confession becomes something that is not just coming out of my mouth, but is rooted in something that I believe.

Speaker A:

It's not just a confession I've heard somebody else say.

Speaker A:

Now it's my confession.

Speaker A:

I've made it my own.

Speaker A:

That's when we start to see the power of those words.

Speaker A:

You know, our faith is not in our confession.

Speaker A:

Our faith is in Jesus.

Speaker A:

And because our faith is in Jesus, we can start to have the same confession that Jesus has.

Speaker A:

Man, this word say, I said it says four times more saying than there is the word believe.

Speaker A:

You know, the word say in the scripture here in the original language in the Greek is the word Lego.

Speaker A:

L, E G O, like the toy LEGO bricks.

Speaker A:

And it actually, it actually means a set discourse or a building block.

Speaker A:

That's where they get the.

Speaker A:

The idea for the toy from.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

Building blocks.

Speaker A:

The word say is leg Lego.

Speaker A:

It's talking about commanding something.

Speaker A:

It's a set pattern, a set discourse.

Speaker A:

It is a systemic set of building blocks.

Speaker A:

And, and you know, building blocks are the la.

Speaker A:

Part of the language of faith.

Speaker A:

We need to have Lego speaking.

Speaker A:

Our confession is the language of faith.

Speaker A:

We need to be speaking things out.

Speaker A:

It means, it's talking about a commandment, something that isn't just, oh, please, Lord, can you move that mountain.

Speaker A:

You know, Jesus didn't give us that example.

Speaker A:

He says, no, you speak to the mountain.

Speaker A:

He didn't say, oh, Lord, please come on down and move this mountain.

Speaker A:

It's really inconvenient.

Speaker A:

It's a real pain.

Speaker A:

It's really terrible.

Speaker A:

It's going to fall on me and crush me.

Speaker A:

No, he didn't speak to God about the mountain.

Speaker A:

He spoke to the mountain about his God.

Speaker A:

You know, there's a difference.

Speaker A:

You know, many years ago, I was hiking in the Pikes Peak region, and right there, imagine my son Joshua, he stood and he had his hand, you know, when you see things in the distance.

Speaker A:

And he put the tip of Pike's Peak between his fingers.

Speaker A:

I think we have that on a.

Speaker A:

On one of our Facebook posts somewhere.

Speaker A:

And you can see it looks like his fingers holding Pike's Pick there.

Speaker A:

You know, and it just.

Speaker A:

To me, it was like, we need to take that mountain and say, mountain, have you met my God?

Speaker A:

You know, we need to stop esteeming the mountain that is in our life and start saying, mountain.

Speaker A:

You're this big compared to my Jesus.

Speaker A:

We need to put that mountain that seems so big, squash it down and say, you know what?

Speaker A:

You're nothing compared to the name of Jesus.

Speaker A:

Because when we look at that mountain, however big, however.

Speaker A:

However terrifying it seems in the moment, whatever mountain you've got in your life, maybe it's a.

Speaker A:

Maybe it's a cancer.

Speaker A:

Maybe it's a diagnosis, Maybe it's a organ failure.

Speaker A:

Maybe whatever it is, right?

Speaker A:

Maybe it's a depression.

Speaker A:

Maybe it's a financial pressure.

Speaker A:

Whatever it is, it's a mountain with a name.

Speaker A:

You can name that mountain and say mountain of blank.

Speaker A:

Have you met my God?

Speaker A:

Because you're temporary.

Speaker A:

If you're on this earth, you are temporary.

Speaker A:

That means you will come to pass.

Speaker A:

You are not going into eternity with me.

Speaker A:

You are a temporary.

Speaker A:

I'm going to speak to you and I'm going to command you to move aside, move out of the way.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

This is.

Speaker A:

This is powerful.

Speaker A:

So this word, say it is, is a commandment.

Speaker A:

It's a commanded moment of speech.

Speaker A:

We're not asking God to do something.

Speaker A:

We're not begging him to do something.

Speaker A:

We're commanding something to move.

Speaker A:

There is an authority that happens there, right?

Speaker A:

And that.

Speaker A:

That is powerful.

Speaker A:

It also means, look at this going down here.

Speaker A:

It says, I'm in verse 24.

Speaker A:

I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray in that moment, believe that you will receive them and you will have them.

Speaker A:

This word receive Right.

Speaker A:

It's talking about.

Speaker A:

Well, actually, lego means to break the silence.

Speaker A:

We have to break the silence with our confession.

Speaker A:

This word receive here, this is important.

Speaker A:

This is lambana.

Speaker A:

And it means to take the hand of.

Speaker A:

To take by the hand or to lay a hold of something, to take something by the hand, to literally get a grip of.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

I'm thinking about, you know, when our kids were young and we'd walk across the road with them, we would take them by the hand and we'd walk across the road with them and cross the street with them, you know, to show them to the way, to make sure that they, you know, didn't get hit by a car or something, would literally take them by the hand, would seize them.

Speaker A:

This.

Speaker A:

What is.

Speaker A:

What it means when we were.

Speaker A:

When we believe something and we.

Speaker A:

We believe, we.

Speaker A:

We receive it, we take it by the hand, we lay hold of it.

Speaker A:

So important, right?

Speaker A:

Get a grip of something, you know, and it says, you will have them there.

Speaker A:

There's a.

Speaker A:

There's not a begging, there's not a pleading, there's not a striving.

Speaker A:

There's simply a matching our words up with our belief system, letting what we believe be founded upon the word of God and let that belief come out of our mouth in the form of words, in the form of authority.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

These are.

Speaker A:

We're talking today for just joining us about confessions that move mountains, and begging and pleading God for things is not going to move any mountains in your life.

Speaker A:

If you want to see that the enemy move aside, out of your life, out of your world, out of your body.

Speaker A:

We got to start speaking the way Jesus speaks.

Speaker A:

So I want to show you this.

Speaker A:

Look at this.

Speaker A:

In Hebrews 10, verse 23, it says here, let us draw near to.

Speaker A:

Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.

Speaker A:

Hebrews:

Speaker A:

Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering, for he is faithful, that promised man.

Speaker A:

This is so important.

Speaker A:

ying to his disciples in Mark:

Speaker A:

Have faith in God.

Speaker A:

Now, sometimes we look at the size of our mountain and we forget that God is on our side.

Speaker A:

God is in your corner.

Speaker A:

He's in your boat.

Speaker A:

He's on your side.

Speaker A:

He's in your team.

Speaker A:

He's equipped you with armor.

Speaker A:

You know what?

Speaker A:

You're already on the winning team, man.

Speaker A:

We've got God with us.

Speaker A:

He says, let us hold fast the profession of Our faith, you know, the word profession, it isn't talking about a job.

Speaker A:

It's used interchangeably with the word confession.

Speaker A:

They mean the same thing you could put in there.

Speaker A:

Let us hold fast the confession of our faith.

Speaker A:

That you know, that is the confessions.

Speaker A:

That is our words.

Speaker A:

That is our faith.

Speaker A:

That is spoken.

Speaker A:

That is a spoken faith.

Speaker A:

Hold fast your spoken faith without wavering.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because he is faithful.

Speaker A:

That promised you.

Speaker A:

What has he promised you, man, he has got.

Speaker A:

He's got great and precious promises, and they're all yes and amen.

Speaker A:

You have a promise of God for healing.

Speaker A:

You know, I showed you this blanket earlier.

Speaker A:

We do these healing blankets and we pray over these and send them out to people.

Speaker A:

Look, this is a great one.

Speaker A:

This is why we put it on our blanket.

Speaker A:

By Jesus stripes, I'm healed.

Speaker A:

By his stripes, we're healed.

Speaker A:

First Peter 2.

Speaker A:

24.

Speaker A:

That is.

Speaker A:

That is a.

Speaker A:

That is a promise that he's.

Speaker A:

What he's.

Speaker A:

By his stripes, he took stripes on his back that you might receive his promise of healing.

Speaker A:

That promise, you know, in.

Speaker A:

In the Old Testament, it was a distant thing.

Speaker A:

You know that that's the first Peter 2.

Speaker A:

24 is the fulfillment of Isaiah 53, right?

Speaker A:

Because in Isaiah, when Isaiah wrote it, he was saying, by his stripes, we are healed.

Speaker A:

Coming in the future when Peter.

Speaker A:

When?

Speaker A:

In Peter, there, it's written in the past tense.

Speaker A:

By his stripes, we were healed.

Speaker A:

It's already done.

Speaker A:

Jesus fulfilled the promise of healing for you.

Speaker A:

So now all that's left is for that to be taken root in your heart as a belief system and let your confession speak it out.

Speaker A:

When we speak it out, things change.

Speaker A:

Remember, Jesus said four times more than believing we need to be speaking the word of God into our situations.

Speaker A:

You know, when our daughter Hannah was really sick, she was prayed for and she was asleep at the time.

Speaker A:

She was three years old, dying of an incurable autoimmune disease.

Speaker A:

Had never been able to eat a day in her life.

Speaker A:

But we pray for her when she was sleeping because she was, you know, that she'd sleep most of the.

Speaker A:

Most of the day.

Speaker A:

And when she woke up, we said to her, hannah, when you were sleeping, Jesus healed you.

Speaker A:

How did we know that?

Speaker A:

We couldn't see anything.

Speaker A:

The moment that we prayed for Hannah, she was asleep in a stroller looking, you know, as dead as she.

Speaker A:

She always had.

Speaker A:

She was that close to death.

Speaker A:

She's only given a few days to live.

Speaker A:

Nothing had changed in the natural.

Speaker A:

I want to help some people today with this.

Speaker A:

In that moment, our Daughter was still dying before our eyes.

Speaker A:

We had to take by faith something that we could not see with our natural eyes.

Speaker A:

Nothing changed in Hannah's body that we could see anyway.

Speaker A:

In the natural.

Speaker A:

We, we spoke, we had, we confessed over her.

Speaker A:

We commanded over her the word of God.

Speaker A:

When we spoke to the mountain that was the autoimmune disease.

Speaker A:

We commanded her body to function normally.

Speaker A:

We commanded her intestines to process food.

Speaker A:

We commanded those things that were wrong to be made right again for her body to respond as it was created to be.

Speaker A:

We commanded that, we legoed that, we said that, we spoke to that mountain, but with our eyes, we saw no change.

Speaker A:

With our eyes there was, there was no difference.

Speaker A:

No difference whatsoever.

Speaker A:

Anita says.

Speaker A:

And she believed you.

Speaker A:

Well, here's the thing, you know, she was three years old.

Speaker A:

Three year olds tend to believe their parents, right?

Speaker A:

But this will work for anyone.

Speaker A:

That, that, that, that even if they're in neutral, if they're just open like, you know, because is a possibility, right?

Speaker A:

It then the main thing was we believed when we spoke to Hannah and she was not in opposition to it.

Speaker A:

And so those words went into her body.

Speaker A:

Now what we could have done, we could have spoken those words, look to the fact.

Speaker A:

Well, you know what, she doesn't look any different.

Speaker A:

You know, she still looks like she's dying.

Speaker A:

She still looks like she's sickly.

Speaker A:

She's still pale.

Speaker A:

Her, her eyes are still sunken into her head.

Speaker A:

She's still hooked up to a machine.

Speaker A:

You know, and we could have looked at the natural.

Speaker A:

We could have looked at that mountain and thought that mountain doesn't look like it's moved.

Speaker A:

You know, that fig tree doesn't look like it's, you know, it's withered up at all.

Speaker A:

You know, it looks exactly the same on the outside.

Speaker A:

We could have just looked at the outside situation and determined in our heart.

Speaker A:

Well, nothing's changed in.

Speaker A:

Nothing's changed, right?

Speaker A:

And that's really easy to do.

Speaker A:

It's really easy to only look at the natural and discount what is going on in the spiritual dimension.

Speaker A:

So I want to help you with this.

Speaker A:

When we pray, I want you to look past what you can see.

Speaker A:

Because faith doesn't care what you can see with your natural eyes.

Speaker A:

Faith goes by what it knows.

Speaker A:

God is faithful.

Speaker A:

God is faithful, right?

Speaker A:

And so, you know, we spoke to him.

Speaker A:

The end result was that we acted upon what we believe, not upon what we saw.

Speaker A:

Ah, come on now.

Speaker A:

See confession.

Speaker A:

We hold fast our confession, knowing that God is faithful without wavering.

Speaker A:

But there Comes a point where there needs to be some action.

Speaker A:

We acted upon what we knew, not upon what we could see.

Speaker A:

Now that's a whole nother realm of faith.

Speaker A:

If I'm, if I'm going too fast for you here, right, If I've put a new wrinkle in your brain, I want you to get our teaching called Everyday Faith.

Speaker A:

It's like a 15 part series, right?

Speaker A:

It's long, but it's really good.

Speaker A:

And it's going to help you have a great understanding of some of the things that I'm touching on here.

Speaker A:

Okay?

Speaker A:

So this is important.

Speaker A:

We need to hold fast our confession of faith without wavering.

Speaker A:

That means without going backwards and forwards, without looking at the natural and changing our words, thinking, no, it didn't work.

Speaker A:

You know, we acted upon our faith.

Speaker A:

We went and we fed our daughter our testimony.

Speaker A:

Hannah's testimony is actually on our website as well.

Speaker A:

You can watch that.

Speaker A:

There's a whole video documentary that they did.

Speaker A:

But we went and we did something that she couldn't do.

Speaker A:

We went and we fed her.

Speaker A:

She couldn't eat food.

Speaker A:

We went and we fed her.

Speaker A:

And the rest of the story is, you know, she didn't die.

Speaker A:

She started, her body had changed.

Speaker A:

It started to be able to process the food again and the food stopped being like poison to her because that's what had happened.

Speaker A:

Anytime she ate something, I mean, it'd be terrible consequences.

Speaker A:

She would, you know, swell up internally and it being terrible pain and everything else.

Speaker A:

Her body started to adjust, it started to, to function as it should.

Speaker A:

And rather than had, you know, dying within a few days, she went on to live.

Speaker A:

And she's, you know, she's 21 years old now and she's married and she's a mummy.

Speaker A:

Right man, super exciting.

Speaker A:

So, you know, we are.

Speaker A:

And her family's growing.

Speaker A:

It's very, very exciting.

Speaker A:

But you know, that was, that was an assignment.

Speaker A:

That was a mountain in our life that looked like it was going to be the death of our baby girl.

Speaker A:

And when we, when we understood the word of God and we allowed that word of God to come out of our mouth, as in the confession, and we allowed that word of God to move our actions.

Speaker A:

We started to see the manifestation.

Speaker A:

We started to see that mountain begin to crumble.

Speaker A:

Mountains aren't going to move if you ignore them.

Speaker A:

Mountains aren't going to move if you stay silent.

Speaker A:

Mountains move because you command them to move.

Speaker A:

Because you command them to get out the way.

Speaker A:

And because your heart is established on the word of God.

Speaker A:

Doubt's not rising up right.

Speaker A:

Your heart is not moved by something physical.

Speaker A:

It's moved by something spiritual.

Speaker A:

There's a difference.

Speaker A:

There was a difference.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

Now, there's a few things here I want to.

Speaker A:

To bring out because we need to have some staying power.

Speaker A:

What happens if we speak to the mountain and nothing changes?

Speaker A:

We don't be moved.

Speaker A:

We don't be moved.

Speaker A:

We don't take no for an answer to something that God has already said yes to.

Speaker A:

Oh, I'm going to say that again.

Speaker A:

Don't take no for an answer to something that God has already said yes to.

Speaker A:

If that mountain doesn't move, if that symptom doesn't leave, we don't need to get all bent out of shape about it.

Speaker A:

Jesus didn't look at that fig tree the moment the words came out of his mouth and start thinking, oh, my gosh, you know, nothing seemed to change.

Speaker A:

He knew that there was something changing in a spiritual realm, in a realm that he couldn't see.

Speaker A:

He knew that his words were having power.

Speaker A:

He knew when he cursed it that that thing had to move, had to.

Speaker A:

Was going to die.

Speaker A:

He didn't look for a.

Speaker A:

A physical change to determine something that he knew had already moved in the spiritual realm.

Speaker A:

You know what?

Speaker A:

A physical condition that does not change your spiritual position.

Speaker A:

Let me say that again.

Speaker A:

A physical condition does not change or does not determine your spiritual position.

Speaker A:

Your spiritual position in Christ is healed of the Lord.

Speaker A:

Somebody needs to put that in the comments.

Speaker A:

My position is healed of the Lord.

Speaker A:

My position is healed of the Lord.

Speaker A:

That's it.

Speaker A:

Because what we're doing then is we're saying my position in Christ is healed, my spirit is healed.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

My, my body has to catch up, but my spiritual position in Christ is healed.

Speaker A:

It's not moved because I have a doctor's report.

Speaker A:

It's not changed because I have an ache or a pain in my body.

Speaker A:

And that gives us the confidence.

Speaker A:

Hang on a minute.

Speaker A:

If I'm healed in Christ, then I'm healed in my flesh, then body, you're just going to have to get over it.

Speaker A:

Body, you're just going to have to come into alignment circumstances you're going to have to change.

Speaker A:

Doctors report, you're going to have to repent.

Speaker A:

Scans, you're going to have to, you're going to have to alter something.

Speaker A:

You're going to have to reflect the truth of what is already a spiritual position in Christ.

Speaker A:

What happens if the test results come back and they don't reflect what, what, what you, you Believe.

Speaker A:

You make them move.

Speaker A:

You tell them to change.

Speaker A:

You know, we had this situation one time where we had a doctor's report come back and.

Speaker A:

And say that they know there's this terrible condition and you're going to have to have treatment for it, and this, that, and the other.

Speaker A:

And we're like, this doesn't even make sense.

Speaker A:

I don't even know how this happened.

Speaker A:

This is going to have to change.

Speaker A:

And then literally two days later, the hospital called back and said, oh, I'm sorry, we've mixed your results up with somebody else's.

Speaker A:

Yeah, they moved.

Speaker A:

Yeah, they changed.

Speaker A:

But what would have happened if we'd have taken those results to heart and thought, oh, my gosh, you know what?

Speaker A:

This is terrible.

Speaker A:

We're going to have to.

Speaker A:

We're going to have to do the treatment.

Speaker A:

We're going to have to have the medicine.

Speaker A:

We're going to have to have the surgery.

Speaker A:

No, you can speak to those results.

Speaker A:

You can speak to those tests, those scans that come back.

Speaker A:

And you scan.

Speaker A:

You repent.

Speaker A:

You repent.

Speaker A:

You're bearing false witness about me.

Speaker A:

You're showing something that's in a flesh.

Speaker A:

It doesn't show what's in the spirit.

Speaker A:

I command you test results to reflect my position in Christ.

Speaker A:

You can make them move.

Speaker A:

You move.

Speaker A:

You know, when the devil tries to back you down, you say, no, you move.

Speaker A:

Sometimes that the shadow of that mountain can seem pretty intimidating.

Speaker A:

But we spoke.

Speaker A:

We speak back to the mountain.

Speaker A:

I don't.

Speaker A:

This.

Speaker A:

This isn't based on how big the mountain is and how little I feel like I am.

Speaker A:

This is based upon our spiritual position in Christ.

Speaker A:

We can have authority from that position of faith.

Speaker A:

Not from.

Speaker A:

From our great wonderful experiences in the natural.

Speaker A:

No, we have confidence not because of.

Speaker A:

Of anything that we've done, but because of everything that he's already done.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

Thank you, Lord.

Speaker A:

You've already won the battle.

Speaker A:

You've already defeated the devil.

Speaker A:

You've already paid the price for me to be healed.

Speaker A:

Therefore, I'm just.

Speaker A:

I'm just going to rest in that.

Speaker A:

I'm going to hold on to my confession.

Speaker A:

You know, one thing that can move us, can change our confession is what we hear, what we listen to.

Speaker A:

You know, Luke 8:18 says, take heed.

Speaker A:

Take heed how you hear.

Speaker A:

Be careful what you listen to.

Speaker A:

Be careful what the things that you pay attention to.

Speaker A:

Another thing that can cause our confession to change is what we see.

Speaker A:

You know, in Psalm I'm going to read.

Speaker A:

This is in Psalm 101, verse 3.

Speaker A:

It says, I will set nothing evil before my eyes.

Speaker A:

You know, our eyes are the windows to our soul is what it says in the scripture.

Speaker A:

They go straight to the heart.

Speaker A:

What we see with our eyes goes straight to our heart.

Speaker A:

Where do doubts arise from?

Speaker A:

Well, According to Mark:

Speaker A:

So we want to be careful what we set our eyes upon.

Speaker A:

He says, I will set nothing evil before my eyes.

Speaker A:

Listen, if you're believing the promises of God to manifest in your life, don't be watching horror movies.

Speaker A:

Don't be watching scary stuff.

Speaker A:

Don't be using evil things as entertainment.

Speaker A:

Don't you know?

Speaker A:

And you got to be careful because I'm telling you, what you see will move you at a heart level.

Speaker A:

It'll bypass your brain.

Speaker A:

Your brain might be saying, oh, it's not real.

Speaker A:

It's only, it's only Hollywood.

Speaker A:

It's only acting.

Speaker A:

It's only make believe.

Speaker A:

You know, your heart doesn't know the difference.

Speaker A:

Your confession is going to be altered as a result of that.

Speaker A:

Because your confession doesn't come from your brain, it comes from your heart.

Speaker A:

Be careful what you expose your heart to with what you see with your eyes.

Speaker A:

Don't be, don't be using fear as entertainment.

Speaker A:

Don't be doing that stuff.

Speaker A:

You can't be, you can't be doing that, right?

Speaker A:

Otherwise your heart is going to get confused and your confession is going to come out sideways.

Speaker A:

Be careful not to allow your eyes to be focused on things that are evil, even in the form of entertainment.

Speaker A:

This is really important, okay?

Speaker A:

The other thing that can move our confession right here, look at this.

Speaker A:

In Psalm 34, verse 13, it says, Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

Speaker A:

Keep your tongue from evil and your lips.

Speaker A:

This is really interesting how it separates the two, the tongue and the lips from different things, right?

Speaker A:

Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because death and life are in the power of the tongue is what it says.

Speaker A:

Death and life are in the power of the tongue.

Speaker A:

You know, James describes the tongue as a tiny rudder on a big ship.

Speaker A:

This little tiny piece of flesh in here can move the whole body.

Speaker A:

It can move the.

Speaker A:

Your whole mindset, your, your.

Speaker A:

Your whole attitude about something, your whole belief system, right?

Speaker A:

We need to be careful that we are not allowing our tongues to confess something that we don't believe, to confess something that is contrary to the word of God.

Speaker A:

All right?

Speaker A:

So we need to be using our tongue wisely.

Speaker A:

You know, Isaiah 54, 11, no, 17.

Speaker A:

Anyway, it says maybe it's 17.

Speaker A:

I'm getting my.

Speaker A:

Get my scriptures confused here, but Isaiah says that, you know, that there we have to stand against.

Speaker A:

No weapon formed against us will prosper.

Speaker A:

Every tongue that rises up against us in judgment, we shall condemn it.

Speaker A:

It doesn't say, you know what, we just sit there quietly or beg God, I hope it's going to go away.

Speaker A:

Or, you know, stick the blanket over our head and.

Speaker A:

And shut our eyes and pretend it's not happening.

Speaker A:

No, it says, every tongue that rises up against us in judgment, we shall condemn it.

Speaker A:

And then no weapon formed against us is going to prosper.

Speaker A:

We literally disarm the devil with our words.

Speaker A:

Oh, that's a good one.

Speaker A:

You can disarm the devil with your words.

Speaker A:

Remember, he doesn't care what you believe.

Speaker B:

He.

Speaker A:

He cares what you speak.

Speaker A:

And that's why when the enemy comes against us, when challenges come, oftentimes we'll get real quiet about our faith.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because other people say, well, what kind of believer are you?

Speaker A:

You're saying all this stuff, but we're not seeing it.

Speaker A:

We, you know, we worry about what will.

Speaker A:

Other.

Speaker A:

What will it look like to other people if they can't see a change in the natural or who is.

Speaker A:

We need to.

Speaker A:

We need to move away from worrying about upsetting everybody else.

Speaker A:

You know, I meet people sometimes that are almost afraid to speak what they believe because they're so afraid of, well, what will other people think?

Speaker A:

You know, will I be persecuted?

Speaker A:

I don't want to upset my doctor.

Speaker A:

You know what?

Speaker A:

Don't worry about upsetting your doctor.

Speaker A:

Your healing is more important than that.

Speaker A:

You know, we need to be.

Speaker A:

We need to match our confession out what we.

Speaker A:

What we say when with what we believe if we're going to see those mountains move.

Speaker A:

And it says, I want to read this last scripture here.

Speaker A:

This is in Hebrews 6, verse 12.

Speaker A:

Okay, Hebrews 6:12.

Speaker A:

It says, Be imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

Speaker A:

Be imitators of those people who by faith and patience inherit the promises.

Speaker A:

You know, faith and patience are power twins.

Speaker A:

Faith is our trust in God that He is faithful to do whatever he said he would do.

Speaker A:

He's faithful to perform his word, right?

Speaker A:

He's faithful.

Speaker A:

If he said it, it's done right.

Speaker A:

But more than that, it's the patience to not be moved from what we believe.

Speaker A:

Now, patience is powerful.

Speaker A:

It will hold your faith in place.

Speaker A:

That's why it says, by faith and patience, we inherit the promises.

Speaker A:

You see, it's easy to Be in faith for a nanosecond of time.

Speaker A:

But patience will keep your faith in place.

Speaker A:

No matter what is going on in the natural, no matter what it looks like, patience will keep your faith from moving.

Speaker A:

Patience comes into play after you've spoken to the mountain.

Speaker A:

You speak to the mountain, you command it to be cast in the sea.

Speaker A:

And.

Speaker A:

And then patience, that's your ability to stand firm on the last thing you just said and not be moved by the circumstances.

Speaker A:

You know, patience is really powerful.

Speaker A:

It means.

Speaker A:

It's this word.

Speaker A:

I'm probably pronouncing this wrong because I'm not a Greek scholar, okay?

Speaker A:

But it says it's hypermony, hypomany, maybe if you say it quickly enough.

Speaker A:

Hypomany, right?

Speaker A:

And it is endure.

Speaker A:

It means this is endurance with an expectation.

Speaker A:

It is a supernatural ability to hang in there, right?

Speaker A:

And it.

Speaker A:

And not quit.

Speaker A:

It's actually a military term.

Speaker A:

This word, patience is a military term.

Speaker A:

And it means to hold your position.

Speaker A:

So you hold fast to your confession in faith.

Speaker A:

Then patience holds you in that position.

Speaker A:

You hold fast to your confession.

Speaker A:

You say the same about your circumstances.

Speaker A:

Then Jesus is saying that that word actually profession or confession, it means to say the same as.

Speaker A:

So we say the same as Jesus says about our situation.

Speaker A:

And then let patience hold fast our position, right?

Speaker A:

Don't be moved.

Speaker A:

You hold your ground.

Speaker A:

Patience prevents us from digging up a seed of faith to see if it's sprouting, man.

Speaker A:

So important.

Speaker A:

Patience will.

Speaker A:

Will stop you from digging up the seed of faith that you just planted with your words, with your confession, to see if you.

Speaker A:

If it's spreading.

Speaker A:

Can you imagine what would happen if a farmer, every time he woke up in the morning, would go out to his field, get his little trowel out and look, you know, scrape away the soil to check on his seeds.

Speaker A:

What would happen to those seeds?

Speaker A:

They would never grow.

Speaker A:

They need to stay, place, stay in their position under the soil in order to put down roots, in order to, to manifest, to grow and to.

Speaker A:

And to.

Speaker A:

For everyone to see them.

Speaker A:

Now, you know, he had to take it by faith when he plants seeds.

Speaker A:

You could say seeds are like the word of God.

Speaker A:

When we speak a confession, we're planting seeds, the word of God, into our circumstances by faith.

Speaker A:

Because sometimes we can't see them in the natural realm yet.

Speaker A:

And we have to know and trust God that those things are putting those.

Speaker A:

Those words are having an impact.

Speaker A:

You know, God says, my word does not return void.

Speaker A:

He says, I have.

Speaker A:

He said to his prophets, I put My word in your mouth to speak, to build up, to tear down.

Speaker A:

I put my word in your mouth.

Speaker A:

And here's something that people discount.

Speaker A:

God's word in your mouth is just as if God has said it himself.

Speaker A:

When God's word comes out of your mouth, it's just as powerful as if God had spoken it himself.

Speaker A:

Why?

Speaker A:

Because you are his physical representation in this earth.

Speaker A:

You're his hands and his feet, you're his lips, you're his tongue, you're his eyes.

Speaker A:

You're a physical presence of Jesus in the world today.

Speaker A:

You have, you contain Jesus on the inside of you.

Speaker A:

You are a carrier of the King of glory.

Speaker A:

That means when you stretch forth your hand, God stretches forth his hand with power.

Speaker A:

Right?

Speaker A:

When you open up your lips to speak and speak out his words, it contains as much power as if God had said it himself.

Speaker A:

He's waiting to back up your confession.

Speaker A:

Our confession needs to match our belief system.

Speaker A:

And when it does that, I'm telling you, we're going to start to see those mountains moving.

Speaker A:

Amen.

Speaker A:

So right now I believe it's time to get, to get praying.

Speaker A:

Hallelujah.

Speaker A:

You can put your prayer request there.

Speaker A:

In there.

Speaker A:

We will.

Speaker A:

We'll get to as many as we can.

Speaker A:

But Father God, I just thank you that you are there, that you are waiting to back up our words.

Speaker A:

Lord, I thank you that your word in our mouth is just as powerful as if you'd spoken it yourself.

Speaker A:

Father, I just ask you in Jesus name that you help these words become truth to us.

Speaker A:

That you help us stir us up in our most holy faith.

Speaker A:

Thank you Jesus.

Speaker B:

Thank you Lord.

Speaker A:

That you've put your word in our lips.

Speaker A:

That you've put your word in our hearts.

Speaker A:

That we might speak it forth with all boldness and see the effect of it in our lives today, in the world around us.

Speaker B:

Thank you Lord.

Speaker A:

That death and life are in the power of our tongue.

Speaker B:

Thank you Lord.

Speaker A:
