Welcome to Power Hour where we believe it is God's will for you to be well.
Speaker A:I'm your host, Kylie Terradez, and this podcast is created from the weekly live streams that I do every Thursday at 1pm Mountain time.
Speaker A:Whether you tune in live or listen later, this message is something that you can receive today.
Speaker A:Let's get started.
Speaker A:Hey everyone, it is that time again.
Speaker A:It is time for Power Hour.
Speaker A:Man, time goes so fast.
Speaker A:I'm so glad to have you with me today.
Speaker A:Today we're going to be talking about identity.
Speaker A:This is such a huge subject and definitely one that the.
Speaker A:The world is very confused about.
Speaker A:But before we get into that, let's just take a moment and pray.
Speaker A:Father God, I just thank you that you are here with us today.
Speaker A:You're helping us to hear and to receive the word that you have for us.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, for giving us ears to hear, a mind to understand, and a heart to receive everything that you have for us today.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, amen.
Speaker A:Amen and amen.
Speaker A:Well, identify yourself.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:I held up a few moments ago this little card, okay?
Speaker A:And this little card, we call this our confession card.
Speaker A:This was one of the first things that our ministry ever produced.
Speaker A:And I want to tell you the story of how this confession card come about.
Speaker A:Well, you know, funny you should say this, we've been laughing about me and.
Speaker A:Me and Ashley teasing each other.
Speaker A:Well, you know, there was this.
Speaker A:This was probably, I don't know, maybe 15 years ago now, and we had a disagreement about something.
Speaker A:We've been married 27 years.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:So I'm, I'm still, I'm sticking with him now, like he's.
Speaker A:We're life as me and Ashley.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:But, you know, about 15 years ago, we had a disagreement about something.
Speaker A:And honestly, I can't even remember what it was about.
Speaker A:It's probably something quite trivial.
Speaker A:But if, you know, me and Ashley tool, you know, we're quite opinionated and we usually have different opinions.
Speaker A:So pray for our staff, by the way.
Speaker A:But we were having a disagreement about something and I, I don't know, I guess I felt like he was.
Speaker A:He was being out of order about something.
Speaker A:So I, rather than moan at him about it, I took it to the Lord and I sat there in, in the bedroom and I just.
Speaker A:Lord, and I mean, that man you gave me, I mean, I was, you know, letting him have it in prayer, obviously.
Speaker A:And the whole time that I was moaning about Ashley and just, you know, how, how out of line had been and how disrespectful he'd been.
Speaker A:And you know, the Lord, you know, you need.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker A:You need to sort him out.
Speaker A:He's your son, and he's out of line.
Speaker A:You need to talk to him.
Speaker A:And I mean, the whole time I'm whining and complaining about my husband to the Lord, the Lord's really quiet, like, I'm not hearing anything.
Speaker A:Just crickets, crickets.
Speaker A:And eventually I get to the end of my ranting and.
Speaker A:And the Lord's like, are you done?
Speaker A:I'm like, I'm done.
Speaker A:I feel better now.
Speaker A:Got it all off my chest.
Speaker A:And, you know, the whole time I was ranting, the Lord didn't say anything.
Speaker A:But the moment that I stopped, I stopped talking, stopped moaning, stopped complaining about my situation.
Speaker A:The Lord said to me, I want to tell you about you now.
Speaker A:And he proceeded to tell me over the next probably 10 to 15 minutes.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And he told me to get a notepad out and take notes.
Speaker A:But he didn't.
Speaker A:He didn't.
Speaker A:He didn't comment one time on my husband's behavior or the words that he spoke.
Speaker A:He didn't agree with me.
Speaker A:He didn't disagree with me.
Speaker A:He was silent the whole time.
Speaker A:I was talking negatively about my husband.
Speaker A:But the moment that I stopped, the Lord, rather than addressing any of those things, he says, let me tell you about you.
Speaker A:And what he unloaded in that moment.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And for the next 10 to 15 minutes was line upon line.
Speaker A:I wrote it down word for word.
Speaker A:And I didn't realize at the time he was speaking scripture to me because he, you know, when the Lord speaks to me, he doesn't speak in verse and address.
Speaker A:He just speaks the word as it's his words.
Speaker A:But afterwards, I realized that everything the Lord spoke to me was a scripture.
Speaker A:And so as I went down, this confession card was everything that the Lord spoke to me.
Speaker A:And I just took it and put it in the first person.
Speaker A:But the law says this is your identity.
Speaker A:This is who you have created, who I have created you to be.
Speaker A:And every line, I'm going to read this to you because it's really powerful.
Speaker A:But each one, I don't know if you can see this on here.
Speaker A:There we go.
Speaker A:Let me put it a little closer to the camera.
Speaker A:Each one, we've had to put them in different colors is a scripture.
Speaker A:Now that they're paraphrased a bit.
Speaker A:But you've got all the addresses on there.
Speaker A:And you put your name at the top where it says I am.
Speaker A:You put your name in there, but I want you to Listen to this.
Speaker A:Because we need to have our identity formed by the word of God.
Speaker A:If our identity is formed by something in the world, you know, circumstances in the world are subject to change.
Speaker A:If our identity and.
Speaker A:And, you know, our identity can be formed by many things, and they're not necessarily bad things, they can be good things.
Speaker A:You know, I'm a wife, I'm a mother, I'm a daughter, I'm a grandma, right?
Speaker A:But what happens if those situations in life start to change?
Speaker A:If our identity is in a career, in a title, in a.
Speaker A:In a position, in.
Speaker A:In a service that we provide, you know, then what happens if those temporary things change?
Speaker A:We can start to confine ourselves really misplaced in this realm of identity.
Speaker A:And when our identity comes from only what the world says about us, the world's really fickle.
Speaker A:It changes mind all the time.
Speaker A:I mean, it did this with Jesus.
Speaker A:You know, one day they're parading him on Palm Sunday through the streets of Jerusalem like a king on.
Speaker A:On a.
Speaker A:On a new donkey, throwing down palm leaves.
Speaker A:And then, you know, a few days later, they're shouting, crucify him.
Speaker A:Let Barabbas go free.
Speaker A:You know, you cannot have your identity placed on your.
Speaker A:In your popularity, placed in your.
Speaker A:In the amount of attention that you get in your success or in your failure in this world.
Speaker A:This is really important because those things are all subject to change.
Speaker A:And I'm going to make a statement here, but you are not the sum of your past mistakes.
Speaker A:Sometimes we go through things in life and we fail.
Speaker A:But don't ever let failure become an identity.
Speaker A:Failure is an event.
Speaker A:It is a moment in your life.
Speaker A:It is not who you were created to be.
Speaker A:Let's read this together and see what the Lord says to us about who he created us to be.
Speaker A:So it starts here.
Speaker A:And you put your name in here.
Speaker A:I'm a party waiting to happen.
Speaker A:Angels rejoice over me.
Speaker A:Demons flee from me.
Speaker A:And God himself dances over me with singing.
Speaker A:This is all scripture.
Speaker A:That's Zephaniah 3:17.
Speaker A:I'm the bearer of good news, a minister of reconciliation.
Speaker A:I am the carrier of the king of glory.
Speaker A:Just think about that for a moment.
Speaker A:When you're tempted to feel depressed, when you're tempted to feel, you know, like you've been cast aside or overlooked.
Speaker A:Just remember what the word, word of God says in Colossians 1:27.
Speaker A:You are a carrier, the king of glory.
Speaker A:That's an important position.
Speaker A:I'm the righteousness of God in Christ and a temple of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:I have an unction from the Holy One and I know all things.
Speaker A:This is First John 2:20.
Speaker A:He says, you have an unction from the Holy One and you know all things.
Speaker A:He says he brings things back to your remembrance.
Speaker A:You have an anointing from the Holy Spirit himself.
Speaker A:Man, don't ever let anyone tell you that you're something less than the word of God says you are right.
Speaker A:He goes on.
Speaker A:He says, I have the mind of Christ.
Speaker A:I am anointed by God and I was created by him for good works.
Speaker A:If you're wondering what your purpose is in life, God has a.
Speaker A:Has a purpose for you.
Speaker A:He has a work for you, and it's a good one.
Speaker A:He says, I have favor with God, favor with man, and a good understanding.
Speaker A:You know, sometimes it takes us a process to figure things out.
Speaker A:But if you start confessing, I have favor with God, favor with man.
Speaker A:I have a good understanding.
Speaker A:And you start to get that down on the inside of you, eventually it starts to come out.
Speaker A:It changes the way you see things and it will change the way other people see you.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:You start to walk in that favor.
Speaker A:I'm chosen by God.
Speaker A:We're going to unpack that one a little bit in a minute.
Speaker A:I have been sanctified and made truly holy.
Speaker A:God has made you holy.
Speaker A:These are all direct quotes from the word of God.
Speaker A:Man, listen, it doesn't matter what you've done in your life.
Speaker A:You can look at your yourself and see tattered rags and filthy stains.
Speaker A:But God says he's made you truly holy.
Speaker A:The minute that you receive Jesus, you get the robe of righteousness.
Speaker A:He says he made you truly holy.
Speaker A:As Jesus is, so am I in this world.
Speaker A:That is a huge statement right there.
Speaker A:And I'm going to tell you that's from 1st John 4:17.
Speaker A:As, as he is, so are we in this world.
Speaker A:As Jesus is, so are we not when we get to heaven, but in this world now.
Speaker A:You know, you.
Speaker A:You might want to argue with me, but you can't really argue with the word of God.
Speaker A:Sometimes the statements that we see in the scripture, if we actually allow the scripture to form our identity, man, it will revolutionize the way see ourselves.
Speaker A:As Jesus is, so are we in this world.
Speaker A:You know, you are made in his image.
Speaker A:You are created with his DNA, with his authority, with his name.
Speaker A:You represent the Lord in this kingdom.
Speaker A:Think about that for a moment.
Speaker A:That.
Speaker A:That is not a picture of somebody.
Speaker A:That's insignificant.
Speaker A:God created you unique with a purpose.
Speaker A:You have an identity.
Speaker A:You have a mission.
Speaker A:To complete.
Speaker A:I am always on God's mind.
Speaker A:He thinks about me constantly.
Speaker A:If you have never.
Speaker A:This is from Psalm 139.
Speaker A:If you've never read Psalm 139, read it if you can.
Speaker A:If you're confused about.
Speaker A:About your purpose in life or how or the uniqueness that God has put together in you, read Psalm 139.
Speaker A:Even before the creation of the world, I was planned.
Speaker A:I'm telling you, you are not an accident.
Speaker A:You may have been a surprise to your parents, but you are not an accident.
Speaker A:God created you special.
Speaker A:I'm a child of a king, adopted in the family and heir in Christ, accepted in the beloved.
Speaker A:I am blessed with every spiritual blessing in heavenly places.
Speaker A:I lack no good thing.
Speaker A:Wow, that's.
Speaker A:Psalm 34.
Speaker A:10 says you lack no good thing.
Speaker A:If you think you look around your life and you see some lack in there, you know what?
Speaker A:It's against the word of God.
Speaker A:You've got a scripture to stand on, to fend off lack in your life.
Speaker A:He says you lack no good thing.
Speaker A:If it's good for you, you shouldn't be lacking in it.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:That's.
Speaker A:That's the scripture.
Speaker A:I have an abundance for every good work.
Speaker A:I was predestined by God for success.
Speaker A:Predest.
Speaker A:God predestined you for success.
Speaker A:I'm placed and seated with him, a king and a priest, part of a chosen generation and a peculiar people.
Speaker A:That's first Peter 2, verse 9.
Speaker A:Think about that for a moment.
Speaker A:Some of us are more peculiar than others, but you're part of a chosen generation, a royal priesthood.
Speaker A:God created you.
Speaker A:You know, the more that we allow these scriptures, the word of God, to form our identity on the inside of us, the more that we become secure as children of the Most High God.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:I'm blessed coming in and blessed coming out.
Speaker A:My family's blessed.
Speaker A:My flocks are blessed.
Speaker A:And everything that I touch prospers.
Speaker A:You know, that is a good thing to put above your door every time you come in and out of your house, say, my family is blessed.
Speaker A:My house is blessed.
Speaker A:Right, man?
Speaker A:Everything that I touch prospers.
Speaker A:And the head and not the tail, above the circumstances and not beneath them.
Speaker A:You know, a common thing that people say, especially if you're sick, is how are you under the circumstances, under the weight of every terrible thing that's going on in your life and in the world and all the disadvantages that you're suffering from.
Speaker A:How are you doing?
Speaker A:I mean, it's such a loaded question.
Speaker A:You have Got a scripture here that can turn any circumstance around.
Speaker A: Is in Deuteronomy: Speaker A:I'm above the circumstances and not beneath them.
Speaker A:See, that's the thing about circumstances.
Speaker A:They try to define you, you know, Circumstances are temporary.
Speaker A:They are subject to change.
Speaker A:If you've got a circumstance in your life that you aren't enjoying right now, just say to it you are.
Speaker A:You can name it and shame it.
Speaker A:You are subject to.
Speaker A:To change.
Speaker A:I'm above you.
Speaker A:I have authority over you.
Speaker A:You do not define me right, man.
Speaker A: Deuteronomy: Speaker A:That's a powerful one.
Speaker A:No weapon formed against me can prosper, you know.
Speaker A:And it goes on to say, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment, I shall condemn it.
Speaker A:No weapon formed against.
Speaker A:You know, there are many weapons.
Speaker A:Sickness is a weapon.
Speaker A:It's a weapon of the enemy.
Speaker A:Disease is a weapon of the fallen world.
Speaker A:You know, it doesn't belong.
Speaker A:It doesn't belong to you.
Speaker A:And if it's formed against you, it can't prosper.
Speaker A:You can put that right in the comments and name it, whatever it is.
Speaker A:Cancer.
Speaker A:You can't prosper in my life.
Speaker A:Diabetes.
Speaker A:You can't prosper in my life.
Speaker A:Arthritis.
Speaker A:You can't prosper in my life.
Speaker A:Man, listen.
Speaker A:It's a weapon formed against you that cannot prosper.
Speaker A: that scripture, that's Isaiah: Speaker A:It's trying to contradict who the Word says that you are.
Speaker A:So it says, I shall condemn it.
Speaker A:How do we condemn it?
Speaker A:With our own words?
Speaker A:By speaking the Word back to it.
Speaker A:That's why we'd condemn it.
Speaker A:No plague can come near my dwelling.
Speaker A:That's my house or my body.
Speaker A:Why is that?
Speaker A:Because we're a temple of Holy Ghost.
Speaker A:You know, this we have.
Speaker A:We may have a dwelling, a physical place that we live in, but also our body is a dwelling place of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:So it says, no play can come near my dwelling.
Speaker A:That's my house or my body.
Speaker A: Psalm: Speaker A:And nothing can separate me from the love of God.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:No angels, not demons.
Speaker A:No principalities or power powers.
Speaker A:Nothing inside this world or out of it.
Speaker A:Man.
Speaker A:This is a huge one.
Speaker A:This comes from Romans 8, 38, 39.
Speaker A:Doesn't matter what you've done, doesn't matter how far you've run.
Speaker A:Doesn't matter how much you've messed up or gotten into unbelief or doubted the word of God or discounted or schooled people, or just acted like the devil, nothing, no action that you can perform in this world will ever separate you from God's love for you.
Speaker A:He will always relentlessly pursue you with his love.
Speaker A:Man, that is a God that you just can't brush aside.
Speaker A:I'm equipped with the full armor of God packed full of the Holy Spirit and more than enough power in me, in the inside of me, to raise the dead.
Speaker A:That comes from Romans 8:11.
Speaker A:Heal the sick or cast out devils.
Speaker A:My faith can move mountains.
Speaker A:My words contain life and death.
Speaker A:My life was bought at a price.
Speaker A:Jesus paid for it.
Speaker A:Jesus paid for you, right?
Speaker A:He redeemed you with his own blood.
Speaker A:My days are appointed.
Speaker A:My life is protected.
Speaker A:Angels encamp around me, and the blessings of God encircle me.
Speaker A:Go before me and over take me.
Speaker A:These are some confessions I'm reading.
Speaker A:If you're just joining.
Speaker A:These are confessions I'm reading directly from the Word of God.
Speaker A:This is what the word of God says about you.
Speaker A:This is who God created you to be.
Speaker A:This is how he sees you and who he says that you are.
Speaker A:I am, it says.
Speaker A:The creator of the universe.
Speaker A:My dad, my.
Speaker A:My heavenly Father.
Speaker A:My dad loves me with an everlasting love.
Speaker A:He's all.
Speaker A:He's with me always.
Speaker A:He thinks about me constantly.
Speaker A:If you wondering if God ever thinks anything good about you or if he sees you or hears your prayers.
Speaker A:Psalm 130.
Speaker A:He thinks about you constantly.
Speaker A:You are always on his mind.
Speaker A:There is never a nanosecond of this day that goes by where the Father that your Lord, the creator of heaven and earth, isn't thinking about you.
Speaker A:You're always on his mind.
Speaker A:He knows about.
Speaker A:He knows everything about me, even the number of hairs on my head.
Speaker A:His love for me is inescapable, insurmountable and irrefutable.
Speaker A:I'm all round awesome.
Speaker A:Just ask my dad.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:That is who the Lord says that you are.
Speaker A:Now listen, this is.
Speaker A:I'm reading.
Speaker A:I'm reading this from a confession card.
Speaker A:There's all scripture, if you would like one.
Speaker A:Yep, there you go.
Speaker A:Our team's already put the link up there.
Speaker A:Terrylose.com forward slash confession.
Speaker A:You know, this isn't.
Speaker A:You know this isn't abracadabra.
Speaker A:This is the word of God, which means when the word of God comes out of your mouth, when you start to let your.
Speaker A:The cells in your body Hear the word, what the word of God says about you.
Speaker A:You know, something amazing happens.
Speaker A:That confusion starts to leave.
Speaker A:People have a lot of confusion today about their identity.
Speaker A:And, you know, identity is not about whether we're male or female.
Speaker A:Identity is not wrapped up in a position.
Speaker A:It's not wrapped up in the clothes that we wear or the names that we like to call ourselves or the pronouns that we choose for ourselves.
Speaker A:Our identity isn't any of those things.
Speaker A:Our identity is who God says that we are.
Speaker A:And when we understand what the word of God says about who God created us to be, you know, we get delivered from confusion, identity confusion.
Speaker A:This is so important because identity crisis is huge in the world today.
Speaker A:You know, maybe if you go back maybe 10 years, you know, identity or mistaken identity was when somebody just took your identity and made out that it was their own.
Speaker A:You know, we might call that imposter syndrome.
Speaker A:That person's an imposter.
Speaker A:They're trying to present themselves as you.
Speaker A:Well, today that's morphed into something else that.
Speaker A:That is more related to gender and our sex.
Speaker A:But you know what?
Speaker A:Gender confusion isn't new.
Speaker A:Gender confusion, Biblically speaking, is just anything that isn't of the Word of God.
Speaker A:Any.
Speaker A:Any opinion, any statement that is made about a child of God that doesn't line up with the word of God is gender confusion.
Speaker A:That's what that is.
Speaker A:And so if we want to be affirmed in our identity, we need to get back to, who does God say that I am?
Speaker A:Because there, that is where the power is at.
Speaker A:You know, the enemy is a liar.
Speaker A:That's all he does.
Speaker A:That is his identity.
Speaker A:He is called the accuser of the brethren.
Speaker A:The accuser of the brethren.
Speaker A:And he has imposter syndrome.
Speaker A:Like from the beginning of time.
Speaker A:He tried to make out in the garden with Adam and Eve that he was somebody else.
Speaker A:He tried to convince them that they needed to do something to be more like God, when really they were created.
Speaker A:They were just like him already.
Speaker A:They were created in his image.
Speaker A:You know, don't let the enemy trick you with imposter syndrome by telling you who he thinks that you are.
Speaker A:You know, when lies come against us, we have a defense.
Speaker A:It's called the Word of God.
Speaker A:But we cannot defend ourselves with the Word of God if we don't first know what the Word of God says about us.
Speaker A:So I want to show you some things, and I'm going to show you why is identity really important in the realm of healing?
Speaker A:And where does that play into all this and help us to receive deliverance from physical symptoms in our body.
Speaker A:I'm getting there.
Speaker A:Okay, I want to show you some something.
Speaker A:Go on over to Ephesians chapter one.
Speaker A:Now this describes the blessings that God has placed upon us.
Speaker A:And it's New Testament.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:Sometimes we go back to Deuteronomy 28 in the Old Testament because that chapter talks about blessings, blessings and cursings.
Speaker A:But it's conditional.
Speaker A:It's conditional on people keeping the law.
Speaker A:If they keep the entire law, which by the way is impossible, all 600 and something laws that they were to keep, then the blessings would come upon them.
Speaker A:And if they didn't, if they broke it, then the curses would come upon them.
Speaker A:You know what, we can go back to Deuteronomy chapter 28.
Speaker A:I was just reading, actually quoting some of the scripture from that chapter.
Speaker A:But understand this, only the blessing part of that chapter applies to you the moment that you've received Jesus, because Jesus fulfilled all of the requirements of the law that the law in itself could not.
Speaker A:So the curses don't apply to you as New Testament believers.
Speaker A:But this here is important because it's in the New Testament, in Ephesians and it talks about blessings that we have on us today.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Super important.
Speaker A:So I want you to get in your Bible out to Ephesians chapter one.
Speaker A:You know, the reason that I'm talking about identity is because when we look at, we see start to see ourselves as children of God.
Speaker A:You know, secure children have an identity that is not confused.
Speaker A:Secure children come draw their stability.
Speaker A:They draw their emotional stability and security from a loving, nurturing and trusting relationship.
Speaker A:You know, in this world we can look for an example of that in the way that we raise in our parent, in the parent parenting style that we were raised under, or the way that we're raising our children.
Speaker A:But children that are grown up and are raised in a home where they know that they're loved, that they can trust their parents, that they're nurtured, that they, that they're provided for, that they are protected, that they are affirmed, that they, you know, they're, that good things are spoken into them and over them, that even when they make mistakes, they know that they can get back up again.
Speaker A:You know, those children grow up to be secure adults.
Speaker A:Adults.
Speaker A:Secure children got to be secure adults.
Speaker A:That is a fruit.
Speaker A:Security and stability are fruits of that loving, safe environment.
Speaker A:Now we know living in this world that we haven't all got that testimony and we don't get to go back and change the way that we were raised.
Speaker A:But we can start to replace broken identity with our new identity in Christ.
Speaker A:So even if you've grown up in an environment that was a complete raving mess, you can't do anything to change that.
Speaker A:But you can change your future.
Speaker A:You cannot go back and change your past, but you can change your future with a revelation of the new identity of who God says that you are.
Speaker A:You know, when you get born again, Second Corinthians says that you become a new creation, a new creature in Christ.
Speaker A:All things, old things are passed away, all things have become new.
Speaker A:And when we allow God's identity to bring stability and security to our life through a trust lasting relationship with our Heavenly Father, faith comes alive on the inside of us.
Speaker A:You know, Philemon 16 is one of my favorite scriptures.
Speaker A:It says that faith, that is trust and confidence, faith becomes effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing that's in us, in Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:This is hugely important because if we are to access the healing but power of God that the grace of God has provided, you know, Jesus provided it for.
Speaker A:He's the grace of God that came down in the flesh.
Speaker A:That means giving you something that you cannot deserve, right?
Speaker A:Healing is part of the grace of God.
Speaker A:And Jesus paid for you to be free from sickness as much as he paid for you to be free from sin.
Speaker A:But how do we access that healing, that supernatural healing and bring it into our body?
Speaker A:We have to respond to it by faith.
Speaker A:Faith is trusting confidence.
Speaker A:When we trust in God's word that what he says we can actually have, then we'll start to see it in our body.
Speaker A:Faith is how we access the promises of God and we all have faith.
Speaker A:Don't let some people have been lied to.
Speaker A:They've been told that the reason they're still sick is because they don't have any faith.
Speaker A:That is not true.
Speaker A:There are a lot of reasons why people are still sick, but not having enough faith is not part of it.
Speaker A:If you've received Jesus, you have the faith of Jesus on the inside of you.
Speaker A:The full measure, the like precious faith of Jesus on the inside of you.
Speaker A:I mean, Jesus is never lacking in the faith department.
Speaker A:You are a carrier of the King of glory.
Speaker A:Remember we just read that you're a container of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:You have an unction from the Holy One.
Speaker A:You've got the kingdom of heaven living on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Now if you, if you have that much dead raising power on the inside of you, it is impossible for you to be Lacking in the faith department, you have all the faith you need to access all of the promises of God, including healing.
Speaker A:What we need to do is let that faith of God on the inside of us become effective.
Speaker A:And that scripture that I just read in Philemon, verse six just tells us how to do that.
Speaker A:Your faith, the faith that's in you, becomes effective.
Speaker A:See, we have faith, but some of us haven't got effective faith.
Speaker A:We're not using it.
Speaker A:So how does your faith become effective?
Speaker A:Well, it tells you your faith becomes effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing that's in you, in Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:In other words, the more that we start to get a revelation and understanding from the word of God of our true identity of all the good things that we've put on the inside of us and we start to give thanks.
Speaker A:Acknowledgment is to give thanks, give thanks for those.
Speaker A:Thank you Jesus, that you have made me smart.
Speaker A:Thank you Jesus, that you have a purpose for my life.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord, that you filled me with your holy spirit.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord, that I. I have skills and I have tal and I have abilities.
Speaker A:Thank you Lord, for all of the good things that you've put on the inside of me.
Speaker A:When we start to do that we're agreeing with the word of God, our faith starts to become effective.
Speaker A:That faith with which we reach out and grab onto healing, it starts with acknowledging every good thing that God has already put on the inside of you in Christ Jesus.
Speaker A:Now this is completely contrary to the.
Speaker A:To the what goes on in the world.
Speaker A:Because when we are going through a sickness or a disease or a circumstance or a trial or tragedy or whatever it is, the enemy comes to whisper in our ear through those circumstances and through those symptoms and tell us, see, you aren't really any of those things.
Speaker A:You're just a pain, you're just an ache.
Speaker A:You're just a victim.
Speaker A:You know, you're under the circumstances, you're weak, you're poor, you're defenseless, you, you've got lack all around you.
Speaker A:He starts to try to affect, affirm a wrong identity on the inside of you.
Speaker A:And he'll use circumstances to in or.
Speaker A:Or symptoms, things in the world to introduce that false identity.
Speaker A:And then as we start to respond to it and to repeat it, it starts to take root on the inside of us.
Speaker A:That's how we end up with a broken identity.
Speaker A:But I want to show you this.
Speaker A:I said we were going to go through Ephesians, chapter one.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:This starting in verse three.
Speaker A:This is important.
Speaker A:Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us.
Speaker A:That's past tense.
Speaker A:We don't need to ask the Lord to bless us.
Speaker A:He's already blessed us, and he did it right the first time.
Speaker A:Who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Speaker A:You know, to bless somebody, it isn't just to be like, oh, bless you, my child.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:To bless somebody, it means this.
Speaker A:To invoke a benediction over them, to consecrate them, to cause them to prosper, to favor them.
Speaker A:Right, to give thanks and praise for somebody.
Speaker A:You know, the Lord.
Speaker A:We're talking about acknowledging every good thing that's on the inside of us and how that causes faith to become effective.
Speaker A:Well, right here, when God blessed us, it means he gave thanks and praise for us.
Speaker A:He gave thanks and praise for you.
Speaker A:You know, when he created you, he was like, wow, this is the most beautiful creature creation I've ever made, man.
Speaker A:He was in awe.
Speaker A:He dances.
Speaker A:He dances over you, is singing.
Speaker A:He rejoices over you, man.
Speaker A:When you think about God creating you, put knitting you together in your mother's womb with all of your hair color and your eye color and your freckles and the.
Speaker A:Your height and, you know, your personality.
Speaker A:He took so much time to create you, uniquely you, man.
Speaker A:He couldn't help but give thanks and praise.
Speaker A:He blessed you, man.
Speaker A:That's a powerful thing.
Speaker A:You know, the power of the blessing.
Speaker A:They fought over this in the Old Testament.
Speaker A:You know, in the Old Testament, there's a case of somebody actually selling their birthright for a blessing from their father because they understood the power of a blessing.
Speaker A:You know, we don't have to fight our siblings for a blessing from our parents.
Speaker A:We were already blessed by every spiritual blessing in heavenly places, by our Father in heaven, man.
Speaker A:That.
Speaker A:That's some.
Speaker A:That's some powerful blessing.
Speaker A:It says he chose us in him.
Speaker A:I'm reading Ephesians 1, verse 4.
Speaker A:He chose us in him before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless before him in love.
Speaker A:He chose you.
Speaker A:Somebody needs to put that in the comments.
Speaker A:I am chosen by God.
Speaker A:I'm chosen.
Speaker A:God chose me.
Speaker A:Think about that.
Speaker A:I don't know if you've ever, you know, taken part in sports, like when you were in high school or anything, and they used to do that thing where they had team captains and they'd pick teams, you know, and I was always short.
Speaker A:I'm only five foot tall, right?
Speaker A:And I was always on the shorter Side.
Speaker A:And so when it came to athletic stuff, I usually got overlooked because I looked like this skinny, tiny little weakling that people didn't want on their side.
Speaker A:They didn't realize I was actually really fast and really springy.
Speaker A:But secret weapon right there.
Speaker A:But, you know, it always kind of like dings your heart a little bit when you're the last on the team to get picked.
Speaker A:And I don't know if they do that in schools these days, but it's kind of cruel.
Speaker A:You know, the team captains pick and you get down to the last person you know, that you weren't chosen.
Speaker A:You were just the, the last choice.
Speaker A:The last person you know in the lineup isn't chosen.
Speaker A:You're the last resort.
Speaker A:And sometimes we can carry that through life thinking like, we're the last result.
Speaker A:And then when we come to the Lord in prayer, it's like, lord, if you can use me, if you can do anything with this weak little left behind, left over child, if you can, if you can overlook, you know, all of my weaknesses and my failures and possibly, you know, do something with these ashes that might look beautiful, you know, it's so defeatist.
Speaker A:It's not who God says that you are.
Speaker A:Don't let your previous negative experience define your future.
Speaker A:You have an identity in Christ that's, that's, that's higher than sometimes the one that we have projected.
Speaker A:He chose you if no one else in the world ever chooses you.
Speaker A:God chose you before he created everything else in the world.
Speaker A:Man.
Speaker A:That's, that's like a kind of a comeback, right?
Speaker A:If you feel, feel like you've been overlooked and overshadowed, understand that you, you weren't overlooked or overshadowed.
Speaker A:God chose you specifically.
Speaker A:Before there even was a world to pick from, he picked you.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:He says to be blameless in, in him in love.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:He says he predestined us to adoption to.
Speaker A:As.
Speaker A:As sons to himself through Christ Jesus according to the good pleasure of his will.
Speaker B:God.
Speaker A:You know, this, this issue of predestination seems to have plagued the church and caused divisions between denominations and all kinds of other things.
Speaker A:But I do believe in predestination.
Speaker A:That means to plan something ahead of time, right?
Speaker A:To plan a destiny ahead of time.
Speaker A:I don't believe that God predestined some people to get born again and other people to go to hell because it says in the scripture that he wishes that none should perish, but it should all to come to repentance.
Speaker A:He doesn't.
Speaker A:He has predestined you.
Speaker A:He's predestined you to be in relationship with him.
Speaker A:He's predestined you to be adopted into his family, to come to know him in a real and intimate way.
Speaker A:He has predestined you for good works.
Speaker A:That's the kind of predestined, the pre planning that God had for you.
Speaker A:He chose you before the foundation of the world.
Speaker A:That's some predestination right there.
Speaker A:He absolutely has a plan for your life, a destiny planned out for you.
Speaker A:He predestined us to be to adoption.
Speaker A:You know, you can have two.
Speaker A:A man and a woman get together and they have intercourse and end up having a baby.
Speaker A:And you know what?
Speaker A:That's.
Speaker A:That's biology.
Speaker A:But it doesn't mean that that child is going to be parented.
Speaker A:Anyone can be.
Speaker A:Anyone can have a baby, but not any.
Speaker A:Not anyone can be parents.
Speaker A:To be parents means more than just to have a child.
Speaker A:It means to.
Speaker A:To raise a child, to love a child, to nurture a child, to protect a child, to instruct a child.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:To care for them, to show them the way in which they should go.
Speaker A:There are many people today that lacked any kind of parenting.
Speaker A:They are the product of a sperm and an egg coming together and making a baby.
Speaker A:But they weren't parented.
Speaker A:This picture here is that God predestined.
Speaker A:He planned for you to be adopted into his family.
Speaker A:You were chosen.
Speaker A:Maybe you're adopted.
Speaker A:You know what?
Speaker A:Your parents chose you.
Speaker A:That's something special.
Speaker A:That's not something to run and hide from or be ashamed from.
Speaker A:Your parents picked you just like God picked us to be adopted into his family.
Speaker A:That's something special.
Speaker A:That's not just a matter of biology.
Speaker A:That's some pre planning right there.
Speaker A:He says he planned us to be adopted into his family to the praise and the glory of his grace, which he graciously accepted us in the beloved.
Speaker A:You've been accepted in the beloved.
Speaker A:You know this word accepted here?
Speaker A:It's only translated twice in the scripture.
Speaker A:It's chirito.
Speaker A:It's the word we get charis from this word accepted.
Speaker A:And it means grace.
Speaker A:It means to endure with honor, with favor, to encircle with favor and thanks and pleasure.
Speaker A:When God sees you, he said, ah, that's my child, you know, that's my Nina, that's my Anita, that's my Celie, that's.
Speaker A:That's my John, that's my Robin, who I dearly love, who I predestined, who I chose to be with me before the foundation of the world.
Speaker A:Those are, those are my children, man.
Speaker A:When God sees you, it's like, and you're with him, he's like, that's the way I always planned it to be, man.
Speaker A:Let God's identity get down on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Let that truth speak to you.
Speaker A:More than the identity of sickness, more than the identity of poverty, more than the identity of being a victim, man, God has created you something special.
Speaker A:Maybe the world doesn't see it, but he sees it.
Speaker A:He sees what he put on the inside of you.
Speaker A:And coming to agree with that is huge.
Speaker A:Because, you know, faith is how we access this supernatural healing power of God that he's already made available for us.
Speaker A:But if we don't count ourselves worthy of it, we will never reach out and grab it.
Speaker A:This is huge.
Speaker A:If we don't allow the security that we have in our relationship with our Father to help us move beyond our weaknesses, move beyond our mess ups and our failures, we will never come boldly to the throne of grace and ask for help in time of need.
Speaker A:We will cower under the, under the throne in the kingdom of heaven, wondering if we're worthy when God's like, child, come on out here.
Speaker A:Come up into my lap, right?
Speaker A:Come and take what belongs to you.
Speaker A:Healing belongs to you.
Speaker A:But many of us fall short of that because we have fallen to imposter syndrome.
Speaker A:We have fallen victim to a stolen identity that the enemy has tried to project upon us.
Speaker A:And we've let circumstances and symptoms dictate our identity rather than the word of God that has made us insecure as children of God, unable to access not because we can't, but because we tend not to push forward and take a hold of the healing power God that He's made available for us.
Speaker A:You know, boldness is a fruit of security.
Speaker A:God has made you bold.
Speaker A:He says the righteous are as bold as lions.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:I want to show you something.
Speaker A:And this is, this is something that Jesus went through.
Speaker A:I'm going to go on over to Matthew chapter three.
Speaker A:I hope you're getting something good today because the Lord surely has good things for you.
Speaker A:My coffee is still hot.
Speaker A:Praise Jesus.
Speaker A:Okay, Matthew 3.
Speaker A:Now look at this.
Speaker A:This is the baptism of Jesus.
Speaker A:This is right before Jesus did any earthly ministry, before he came out and people realized who he was.
Speaker A:And you know, he hadn't, he hadn't done any miracles at this point.
Speaker A:But you know, he, he went and he was baptized.
Speaker A:And look at this in verse, I'm reading from verse 16 in the end of Matthew, chapter 3.
Speaker A:It says, and when Jesus was baptized, he came up immediately out of the water and suddenly the heavens were open to him.
Speaker A:And he saw the Spirit of God descending upon him like a dove.
Speaker A:And a voice came from heaven saying, this is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Speaker A:I just think that's so cool.
Speaker A:We just read that in Ephesians 1, verse 6, where Jesus said, you are accepted in the beloved.
Speaker A:Welcome in the beloved.
Speaker A:You're now part of the family.
Speaker A:You are my son.
Speaker A:You are my daughter.
Speaker A:The Lord has claimed you and he's called you accepted in the beloved.
Speaker A:This is the same phrase that he says to Jesus.
Speaker A:And he says, this is my beloved son.
Speaker A:My beloved son.
Speaker A:Think about that for a moment.
Speaker A:He uses the same phrase to describe you that he used to describe Jesus.
Speaker A:That should make you feel special, right?
Speaker A:That should make you feel special.
Speaker A:He says, in whom I am well pleased.
Speaker A:Now go on over to chapter four, Matthew, chapter four.
Speaker A:It says right immediately.
Speaker A:This is immediately after this happened.
Speaker A:It says, then Jesus was led.
Speaker A:Because remember, in the Scriptures when it was written, there wasn't chapter and verse.
Speaker A:It was just one continuous text.
Speaker A:So they wouldn't have been like the end of chapter three, the beginning of chapter four.
Speaker A:It was one continuous text.
Speaker A:So immediately after Jesus is baptized with water and the Holy Spirit and God announces to everyone, everyone world, this voice from heaven came down.
Speaker A:So everyone could hear.
Speaker A:This, this one here, this is my beloved Son, in whom I'm well pleased.
Speaker A:Everyone could hear the voice booming from heaven.
Speaker A:The God had revealed the identity of Jesus in that moment, his identity had been revealed to the world.
Speaker A:Immediately after this, Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil.
Speaker A:Now look what happens.
Speaker A:He'd been fasting 40 days and 40 nights.
Speaker A:He was hungry.
Speaker A:And the tempter came to him.
Speaker A:This is Satan.
Speaker A:Satan came to him as soon as his identity had been revealed by God to the whole world.
Speaker A:The enemy, Satan, the devil comes to tempt him.
Speaker A:And look at the phrase he uses.
Speaker A:If you are the Son of God, what was the last thing that Jesus heard from his Father?
Speaker A:This is my beloved son.
Speaker A:This is my son.
Speaker A:The Son of God, Right?
Speaker A:This is my son.
Speaker A:And here the enemy is coming to tempt Jesus in the very word of identity that God announced to the all of the world, if you are the Son of God.
Speaker A:You see, this is what the enemy's inroad is.
Speaker A:He tries.
Speaker A:And this is why it's so important and so contentious in our world today.
Speaker A:The struggle with identity.
Speaker A:The, the Enemy comes to attack us in the same way that he came to attack Jesus in the realm of our identity.
Speaker A:Are you really who God said that you are?
Speaker A:It's the same technique he used in Adam and Eve in the garden.
Speaker A:I don't have time to go back and prove that to you, but you can look at it in Genesis chapter three, when he told Adam and Eve, if you eat of this fruit, you're going to be like God.
Speaker A:He attacked them in their identity.
Speaker A:They already were like God.
Speaker A:He comes to Jesus and he says to him, if you are the Son of God, when the very last thing that the whole world heard from heaven was, this is my son, my beloved son, right?
Speaker A:But he's trying to get Jesus to question his identity.
Speaker A:If he can get you to question your identity, it's an inroad.
Speaker A:It's a, it's.
Speaker A:It's almost like he's getting you to listen to him.
Speaker A:He's getting you to lean into him.
Speaker A:Now he has an inroad into your heart.
Speaker A:He hasn't.
Speaker A:You could say it's like leaving the door open on the, you know, we are the temple of the Holy Spirit.
Speaker A:It's like leaving the back door open on the temple.
Speaker A:And inviting him and all of his works in meant that he will attack you first in the realm of your identity.
Speaker A:Are you really loved?
Speaker A:Does God really love you?
Speaker A:Are you really the healed of the Lord?
Speaker A:Does the healing power of God really live on the inside of you?
Speaker A:Did God really say he sent His Word and healed you?
Speaker A:Did.
Speaker A:Is healing really something that you can actually have?
Speaker A:No.
Speaker A:He'll try to place on you a false identity, but you're the victim.
Speaker A:You know, you're the sick, you're the poor, you're the weak, you're the defeated.
Speaker A:And this is where we need to look at Jesus's response.
Speaker A:How did Jesus respond to it?
Speaker A:To an identity attack of the enemy?
Speaker A:Well, let's look.
Speaker A:Jesus answered him.
Speaker A:And now remember, he says to him, if you are the Son of God, command these stones to be turned into bread.
Speaker A:This is, this is.
Speaker A:This.
Speaker A:This is huge, actually, because Satan knew the power that Jesus had.
Speaker A:He never doubted that the Jesus had the power and the authority over the natural things of this world to turn those stones into bread.
Speaker A:And he doesn't doubt that as children of God, you don't have power and authority.
Speaker A:He knows you have power and authority over the natural things of this world.
Speaker A:And he's trying to, to get Jesus to use it, to demonstrate, to engage with him and respond to this.
Speaker A:Questioning of his identity by tempting him.
Speaker A:And you know, he tempted him with something that was first in the natural.
Speaker A:Jesus was hungry.
Speaker A:He'd been.
Speaker A:It says here, Jesus was hungry first read, the tempter came to tempt him.
Speaker A:And Jesus was hungry.
Speaker A:He'd been full fasting for 40 days and 40 nights.
Speaker A:So he tempted him with something that pushed a natural button.
Speaker A:And this is what the enemy will do.
Speaker A:He'll tempt you with a pain, something natural that you, oh, you're going to feel this.
Speaker A:He'll tell you you're going to feel this, you know, and sometimes he'll tempt you with something that you've already been healed with in the past because he knows you have a soft spot in that area.
Speaker A:Oh, you're going to feel this.
Speaker A:Remember what this feels like.
Speaker A:He'll tempt you with something natural in the same way that he tempted Jesus with something natural.
Speaker A:But Jesus answered him and said, it is written, man cannot live by bread alone, but by every word.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker B:He.
Speaker A:He lives not by natural things, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.
Speaker A:The word of God has enough power in it to sustain you and cause you to walk in victory and authority over any natural scheme of the enemy, any natural circumstance here on earth.
Speaker A:I just think this is really interesting that we don't realize this, but the enemy was also there at Jesus's baptism.
Speaker A:That's why he knew to repeat the phrase if you are the son of God, because he heard God say, this is my son.
Speaker A:And then he comes in the, in the realm of his identity to get him to question the very last thing that God says.
Speaker A:But Jesus response to the enemy was, I know what God said.
Speaker A:I know what God said.
Speaker A:I don't need you to tell me what God said.
Speaker A:I know what God said.
Speaker A:He says, Jesus's confidence came from the word of God.
Speaker A:He heard the footwords of his Father and he knew that those words were enough power to sustain him.
Speaker A:He didn't need to listen to the words of the enemy when he already had.
Speaker A:A word from God in every word from God is enough to have power on the inside of you to sustain you.
Speaker A:You know what Jesus, that wasn't the last temptation that he had to overcome.
Speaker A:The enemy had a couple more tricks up his sleeve.
Speaker A:It says the devil took him up to the holy city and set him on the highest point of the temple and said to him, if you are the son of God, he tries to repeat it.
Speaker A:You see, this is the enemy.
Speaker A:He's.
Speaker A:He's.
Speaker A:He's a recycler of old information.
Speaker A:He can't tell you anything new.
Speaker A:He doesn't have any revelation about your future.
Speaker A:He's not that smart.
Speaker A:But he will recycle things that have happened in the past.
Speaker A:So maybe if you've had a negative experience or a disappointment in the past, he'll bring that back up.
Speaker A:He recycles the same thing to see if you'll bite the second time.
Speaker A:If you are the Son of God, then throw yourself down from this table, from this temple, for it is written, now here's the enemy quoting the word of God.
Speaker A:We at least need to know our identity in the Word of God.
Speaker A:If nothing else us, then we need to know more of the word of God than the enemy does.
Speaker A:Even the devil knows how to quote scripture, right?
Speaker A:We need to know how to use it back.
Speaker A:The word of God, it says in scripture, is a sword.
Speaker A:This is this word, these scriptures that we've been going through today.
Speaker A:These are now your weapons of warfare.
Speaker A:They're the swords of the spirit which you you repel the fiery darts of the enemy with.
Speaker A:This is your armed defense.
Speaker A:He says, for it is written, he shall give your angels charge concerning you, and in their hands they should lift you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone.
Speaker A:But Jesus said to him, yeah, hang on a minute, I can quote scripture too.
Speaker A:It is also written, you shall not tempt the Lord your God.
Speaker A:You know, I think this is really interesting.
Speaker A:Jesus is telling Satan, I am the Lord your God.
Speaker A:Who is, who is the subject here?
Speaker A:Well, the subject is Jesus.
Speaker A:Satan is coming to tempt Jesus.
Speaker A:He's saying to him, you shall not tempt the Lord your God.
Speaker A:He is reminding him he is so bold and so affirmed in his identity.
Speaker A:When the enemy came to say, oh, if you really are the Son of God, and get into question that, he says, oh, no, I'm not just the Son of God.
Speaker A:I'm the Lord your God.
Speaker A:I am the Lord your God.
Speaker A:He is using his identity as a shield and as a form of attack.
Speaker A:You see, when we know who we are, we cannot be stolen from.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:When you know that you are the healed of the Lord, you cannot be robbed from.
Speaker A:From healing, cannot be stolen from somebody that knows what they already have.
Speaker A:The enemy only comes to steal what he knows you already have.
Speaker A:He can't steal from you something that you haven't got.
Speaker A:That's why he tries to attack you in the realm of sickness and disease, because he knows that healing already belongs to you.
Speaker A:He couldn't steal from you healing if you didn't already possess healing.
Speaker A:By the power of God, you already possess healing.
Speaker A:The healer.
Speaker A:If you've received Jesus, you already possess the healer on the inside of you.
Speaker A:So Satan cannot come to steal something that you don't already have because you already possess healing.
Speaker A:That's why he's trying to steal it from you.
Speaker A:But Jesus is saying to him, I'm the Lord your God.
Speaker A:Don't back down to the enemy.
Speaker A:Don't back down to a symptom.
Speaker A:Don't take the enemy's no for something that the promise of God that he's already said yes to you.
Speaker A:Don't let the enemy back you down again.
Speaker A:The devil took him up to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and they grand you.
Speaker A:And he said to him, all of these things I'm going to give you if you fall down and worship me.
Speaker A:You see now the enemy has revealed his true colors.
Speaker A:He came to try and attack Jesus.
Speaker A:He'll come to try and attack you in your identity to see if you know it and then to lean into it and try to steal it from you.
Speaker A:But if that doesn't work, he'll try to get you to think that you don't have the authority that he already knows that you have.
Speaker A:He already knew that Jesus had authority over him.
Speaker A:But he tried to trick Jesus into giving over his authority to Satan.
Speaker A:Satan is the deceiver.
Speaker A:He did the same thing with Adam and Eve, right?
Speaker A:And he says to him, you know, you shall work if you, if you, if you do these things, if you, if you bow down and worship me.
Speaker A:Bow down.
Speaker A:You know, Lucifer was the worship leader of heaven that fell and became Satan.
Speaker A:So he's really into being worshipped.
Speaker A:The enemy cannot stand it to be ignored.
Speaker A:He hates being ignored.
Speaker A:He needs to be.
Speaker A:He feeds off of attention.
Speaker A:And so the much as much as we can, we try to ignore him.
Speaker A:But sometimes we just got to tell him where to go, take authority over him.
Speaker A:He wanted, he wanted Jesus authority and he wanted his attention.
Speaker A:And Jesus wasn't going to give him either of them.
Speaker A:He said to him, get away from here, Satan.
Speaker A:There he is taking authority.
Speaker A:This is an instruction.
Speaker A:This is how we handle attacks on our identity.
Speaker A:Attacks on the identity that we have in healing that Jesus has provided for us.
Speaker A:I'm the healed of the Lord.
Speaker A:He sent his word and healed me.
Speaker A:His healing power already lives on the inside of me.
Speaker A:Me.
Speaker A:But Satan sometimes comes with an ache or a pain to get you to move away from that.
Speaker A:And this is how we should respond to him.
Speaker A:Get away from me Satan.
Speaker A:Get away from me.
Speaker A:You evil ache, you evil pain.
Speaker A:You malfunction, you lying infection.
Speaker A:You virus, you disease.
Speaker A:Get away from me.
Speaker A:You don't belong to me.
Speaker A:For you shall worship the Lord your God.
Speaker A:And you and him only shall you serve.
Speaker A:You know the very worship the Satan came to Jesus, asking him, telling him, I'm going to give you all this stuff if you give me your authority and worship me.
Speaker A:And Jesus turned it around and says, I'm taking authority over you.
Speaker A:You get out of here.
Speaker A:And by the way, you're going to worship me.
Speaker A:You're going to worship me.
Speaker A:I'm the Lord your God.
Speaker A:You know, here's the fact that Satan has, was created, being created to worship God himself.
Speaker A:He and, and Jesus is still the Lord of Satan.
Speaker A:He's the Lord over Satan.

Speaker A:And I think you've been like this from birth and maybe it wasn't discovered until later, but their brain has been.
Speaker A:Or the brain stem is being put pressure on and you get a, you get problems with like vertigo, but when you put your head down, it's almost like you're going to pass out because there's some pressure, weird pressure thing that goes on and you get real dizzy when you bend your head down low.
