The A to Z of Healing: Overcomer's Faith
This episode, Overcomer’s Faith, is all about learning how to face life’s challenges with confidence — not because of our own strength, but because of Jesus’ faith working in us. Carlie Terradez teaches that the same faith that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside every believer. That means we don’t have to feel overwhelmed, powerless, or stuck in our past.
Grounded in Scriptures like Galatians 2:20, this message shows us that knowing who we are in Christ helps us walk in the authority and victory He already won. You are not a victim — you are a victor through Jesus! His faith in you is strong enough to bring healing, restoration, and breakthrough in every area of your life.
🔑 Takeaways:
- God wants you well: His will is healing, wholeness, and abundant life in every area.
- Faith isn’t complicated: It’s trusting God’s promises and believing what He says is true.
- You already have the faith you need: The faith of Jesus Himself lives in you — more than enough for miracles.
- Your identity matters: You’re not defined by your past — you are victorious and full of God’s power and authority.
- Don’t fall for the enemy’s lies: The devil uses deception, but you can stand firm knowing who you are in Christ.
- You are an overcomer: Your inheritance in Jesus gives you everything you need to overcome the world through faith.

Welcome to Power Hour where we believe it is God's will for you to be well.
Speaker A:I'm your host, Kylie Terradez and this podcast is created from the weekly live streams that I do every Thursday at 1pm Mountain time.
Speaker A:Whether you tune in live or listen later, this message is something that you can receive today.
Speaker A:Let's get started.
Speaker A:So glad that you could join me here on this.
Speaker A:Well, here it's Thursday afternoon, but whenever you're watching this in the future, we are glad that you're on here.
Speaker A:So Lord, thank you that you have given us ears to hear this afternoon, that you have given us a heart and a mind to comprehend and receive everything that you have for us.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, amen.
Speaker A:Okay, so let's get right to it.
Speaker A:Today.
Speaker A:I want to start here.
Speaker A:Grab your Bibles.
Speaker A:We're going to start in Galatians 2, verse 20.
Speaker A:I'm going to read this in the King James Version.
Speaker A:King James Bible and it says, I am crucified with Christ, nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.
Speaker A:And the life which I now live in the flesh, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave himself for me.
Speaker A:You know, there's a lot in this one little passage here, but this is talking about the life that we receive once we get born again.
Speaker A:The, the Jesus that came to take up residence on the inside of us.
Speaker A:And that vitality driven life, that abundant life that Jesus paid for us to have is now deposited on the inside of us the moment that we put faith in Jesus and it says he look, this life that I now live in the flesh, we're all living life in the flesh, right?
Speaker A:You know, it doesn't matter what kind of flesh you have, you still got flesh.
Speaker A:This flesh suit is what we are going to need to get us through to the other side.
Speaker A:This flesh suit, this life that I'm living right now here on earth in my body I live.
Speaker A:And this is how we live by the faith of the Son of God.
Speaker A:This is really important because some translations change this slightly and it changes the meaning, but it's important that we read it in, in the, in translations.
Speaker A:That's true to the original text.
Speaker A:And it says the faith of the Son of not God.
Speaker A:This isn't talking about, you know, like rome in Romans 1, 16, 17, the just.
Speaker A:You live by faith.
Speaker A:Yeah, we live by faith.
Speaker A:This is talking about.
Speaker A:No, we live in this life in the flesh by the faith of the Son of God.
Speaker A:That means we are living our life out with the faith of Jesus on the inside of us, that changes things.
Speaker A:Because, you know, so often when we talk about faith, it is this mysterious, mysterious thing that's out there that, you know, and even, even unbelievers will say, oh, you just need to have a little more faith.
Speaker A:You know, this faith thing is bounded around, but it has an element of mystery to it.
Speaker A:But as believers, we can understand that faith is a trusting confidence in God.
Speaker A:It is a.
Speaker A:An ability to trust in God's word, and that what he said is true.
Speaker A:Now we don't even have to worry about how much faith that we have, because right here it says, we live this life in the flesh right now, today, by the faith of the Son of God.
Speaker A:That is, by the faith of the Jesus that's already on us inside of you.
Speaker A:So if you've been wondering, I don't know if I have enough faith.
Speaker A:I just don't seem to be able to get a manifestation.
Speaker A:I don't seem to be able to get any kind of breakthrough.
Speaker A:I don't think I have enough faith.
Speaker A:This needs to settle it for you.
Speaker A:You don't have to worry about how much faith you have.
Speaker A:You have the faith of the Son of God, and that is more than enough faith to get the job done.
Speaker A:We don't have a.
Speaker A:We're not lacking in the faith department.
Speaker A:If you've received Jesus, you have received.
Speaker A:Romans 12:3 talks about it this way.
Speaker A:It says you have the measure of faith.
Speaker A:The measure of faith.
Speaker A:Well, what kind of measure is that?
Speaker A:That's the Jesus measure.
Speaker A:If we wanted to measure faith, we need to measure it in units of Jesus, right?
Speaker A:I mean, you, you, you don't need a more complete measurement of faith than Jesus.
Speaker A:Jesus never lacked in the faith department.
Speaker A:We would never look at the life of Jesus and say, well, you know what, if he just believed a little bit more, then you know what?
Speaker A:He'd have seen more people healed.
Speaker A:No one would ever make that statement because it cannot be true.
Speaker A:Everyone that Jesus met, everyone that wanted to receive from him, received from him.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because he never lacked in the faith department, and he walked in the full authority that God had given to him.
Speaker A:This is really important because as believers, if we understand who it is that we have received, we have received the Son of God on the inside of us.
Speaker A:We can stop looking at our own insufficiencies, start looking at the Jesus that lives on the inside of us, and it changes our perspective.
Speaker A:You know, I want to take a moment and just look now, I've talked A bit about identity.
Speaker A:When we went through the eye of the Alphabet, we talked about identity.
Speaker A:But I want to go back to the beginning a little bit and look at who is man.
Speaker A:Let me show you this because our identity and our authority come from our revelation of who we are in Him.
Speaker A:And I want to show you this.
Speaker A:Let me just pull this up here.
Speaker A:Here we go.
Speaker A:This is in Psalm 8.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:Psalm 8, verse 3.
Speaker A:I'm just going to look at Psalm 8, verse 4.
Speaker A:Actually Psalm 8, verse 4.
Speaker A:And it says this in the amplified what is man?
Speaker A:Or who is man?
Speaker A:That you are mindful of him and the Son of earthborn man, that you care for him, yet you have made him a little lower than God and you have crowned him with glory and honor.
Speaker A:You have made him to have dominion over the works of your hands, and you have put all things under his feet.
Speaker A:The Lord here in Psalms is talking about who man is.
Speaker A:Now we know if we go back and read in Genesis 1:26 27 there, that God created mankind in his image to have his name, his authority, his personality, right?
Speaker A:All of those things.
Speaker A:And it was after that God created this, this, this prompted this in, in me today because I'm referring to a question that came up last night in our livestream and like and the question was related to when do you think Lucifer was created?
Speaker A:Before or after the fall?
Speaker A:And, and I think Lucifer as an angel was created by God before the fall, but his heart fell into deception and at the fall when Adam and Eve ate of the apple, he, he deceived them and they gave their authority over to mankind and hence Satan was made.
Speaker A:Right, that's, that's a whole topic.
Speaker A:But the reason I'm bringing this up here is because, because I think Lucifer did not take, turn into Satan until he saw mankind being created.
Speaker A:When Lucifer was an angel that God created, he was the worship leader of heaven.
Speaker A:And, and he had, you know, he had a measure of authority that was designated by the Lord.
Speaker A:But that authority started to go to his head and he wanted to elevate himself and become God himself.
Speaker A:You know, he, he was there and he watching the Lord create all of the animals, all of the world, all of the trees, all of the, the, the oceans, filling the, the world with all these amazing creatures and creations.
Speaker A:And you know, nothing moved Lucifer in the way that the, the creation of man did.
Speaker A:That when, when God created mankind, Lucifer couldn't contain himself because God did with mankind something that he never did with the other animals.
Speaker A:He gave them authority.
Speaker A:He made Them in his image to be a direct representation of himself here on Earth.
Speaker A:None of the other creatures up until the point of creation of mankind ever had that kind of honor.
Speaker A:And everything that God put inside of mankind, Lucifer wanted terribly.
Speaker A:He wanted that power, he wanted that honor, he wanted to elevate himself till he became God and have everything on earth worship him but God.
Speaker A:It says God here.
Speaker A:He gave that dominion, that power, that authority not to creatures on the earth, not to Lucifer, but he gave it to mankind.
Speaker A:And at that point, that was the tipping point for Lucifer.
Speaker A:And he knew he had to intercept.
Speaker A:He had to deceive Adam and Eve and convince them to put more faith in him and his lies than they did in the word of God.
Speaker A:And by that way, he would deceive them and, and, and, and strip them them, absorb their authority that was given to them by God.
Speaker A:You know, he.
Speaker A:This is, is right here.
Speaker A:We just read this.
Speaker A:Actually, if you read this in some translations in the, in the new King James, it says what is man, that you are mindful of him and, and the son of man, that you care for him for.
Speaker A:You have made him a little lower than the angels.
Speaker A:Now some of you may have already found that in your translations.
Speaker A:I've read from the Amplified now what I want you to do, if you've got a concordance, you can click on the word that says angels and you'll find it means Elohim.
Speaker A:Elohim actually means God.
Speaker A:But when the scribes translated this, they felt like this was just too big of a word.
Speaker A:This was too big of an honor.
Speaker A:We can't put God in there.
Speaker A:Surely he couldn't really mean that he's made mankind a little lower than God.
Speaker A:No, actually that's exactly what God meant.
Speaker A:So where you see angels, the root word for that was God.
Speaker A:You're not made as mankind a little lower than the angels.
Speaker A:You have more authority than angels.
Speaker A:You are made a little lower than God.
Speaker A:And so when we understand this, and we understand that we have now as born again believers, not just our position, is mankind full of authority.
Speaker A:We're given dominion to rule over the earth.
Speaker A:But now we have received the son of God on the inside of us, that means we have the faith of God himself on the inside of us, it changes how we see ourselves so spiritually speaking, positioned in this earth today.
Speaker A:Man, you know, the enemy would love for you us to look at ourselves and see ourselves as little as way down the totem pole, the pecking order as the bottom of the food chain.
Speaker A:But you Know what?
Speaker A:Spiritually speaking, you're an apex predator.
Speaker A:You're the top of the food chain.
Speaker A:You're made a little lower than God himself.
Speaker A:That is why the enemy comes to attack us as believers in the realm of our identity, either as humans through gender confusion or, you know, insecurity or whatever it might be.
Speaker A:He tries to attack us physically in our physical identity, but he also tries to attack us in our spiritual identity because he knows that our, I mean, that we have authority and it comes from an understanding understanding of who we are in Christ.
Speaker A:He's trying to separate you from your position in Christ because if he can separate you from your position in Christ, you know what?
Speaker A:Rather than operating in faith that overcomes him and his evil plans, you'll start to put more faith, more trust, more confidence in his lies and operate in fear instead.
Speaker A:You see how the deception started in the garden and it's, you know, what is still prolific in the earth today.
Speaker A:It is the major weapon that the enemy will use against the children of God is deception.
Speaker A:He knows exactly who you are in Christ.
Speaker A:The question is, do you, do you know who you are in Christ?
Speaker A:You know, and once we start to dig into the word of God and allow that word to.
Speaker A:To dictate that for us, faith that overcomes naturally starts to bubble up out of us.
Speaker A:This is excite.
Speaker A:This is really exciting to me.
Speaker A:For.
Speaker A:For so many years I lived life and if you know my testimony, you know, there's a couple of places you'll see I have different testament.
Speaker A:One book is Miracles and Healings Made Easy and the other one, and there's really more of a testament being set free from trauma and difficult things that I went through, childhood abuse and different things.
Speaker A:You'll find that in all is not lost.
Speaker A:But for many years I really struggled with my identity as a child of God because I'd allow things that happened to me in the past to set the identity for me.
Speaker A:And I'm going to say this, this is a strong statement, but somebody really needs to hear this today.
Speaker A:You are not the sum of your past mistakes.
Speaker A:You are not a victim to your past.
Speaker A:You know, you can be a victor and reach towards your future.
Speaker A:There is a difference.
Speaker A:You know, we may have been the subject of enemy attack, but to be a victim, that's an identity.
Speaker A:I refuse to be a victim.
Speaker A:I lived as a victim for a decade of my life until I decided I'm not going to be a victim anymore.
Speaker A:That is that I was a subject of attack.
Speaker A:But I'm not taking on the identity of a victim.
Speaker A:You see, you can't walk victoriously and identify with being a victim at the same time.
Speaker A:You have to take off one identity to put on a new one.
Speaker A:And if we gonna.
Speaker A:If we're gonna see the.
Speaker A:The faith that overcomes work through us and out of us and change our situation and bring healing to our body and prosperity to our lives and peace to our soul, we've got to take off the.
Speaker A:The beggar clothes.
Speaker A:We gotta cast aside the identity of being a victim in order to put on the identity of being a victor.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:This is really, really important.
Speaker A:So, you know, this, this whole.
Speaker A:This.
Speaker A:This whole journey that Adam and Eve went on, you know, it started something.
Speaker A:It started a precedent in mankind where people started to listen more to the lies of the enemy than they did to the.
Speaker A:To the word of God, to the word of truth.
Speaker A:And it became a crisis for people, you know, at the fall after Adam and Eve, sin, fear and shame entered into them.
Speaker A:It says that they separated themselves.
Speaker A:You can read this in Genesis 3.
Speaker A:They separated themselves and covered themselves with fig leaves because they realized that they were ashamed.
Speaker A:They were ashamed.
Speaker A:You know, fear and shame were not part of their original identity.
Speaker A:They didn't enter into their psyche, into their thought life, until they started to listen to lies.
Speaker A:And this is one thing that really is a fruit of a.
Speaker A:Of a misplaced identity, if you like, an identity.
Speaker A:Real identity theft is when the end, you know, the enemy comes to steal our identity as secure children of God, walking in authority, in his name and in his image and in his power.
Speaker A:And he starts to replace it, that identity with fear and shame and doubt and unbelief and insecurity and weakness and failure.
Speaker A:He.
Speaker A:He tries to replace your real identity with a counterfeit one.
Speaker A:And that becomes a problem, that becomes an identity crisis.
Speaker A:And it actually separates us from the love of God.
Speaker A:But I want to show you something, because Jesus gave back to us when we got born again what was stolen from Adam and Eve in the garden.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:In Revelations 12, verse 7 to 12, it says this.
Speaker A:Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, now salvation and strength, and the kingdom of our God and the power of his Christ have come for the accused of our brethren who accused them before God day and night has been cast down.
Speaker A:This is talking about Lucifer, okay?
Speaker A:And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.
Speaker A:And they did not love their lives unto death.
Speaker A:Healing.
Speaker A:So healing and salvation and authority belongs to us.
Speaker A:It says this salvation and strength and the kingdom of God and the power of his Christ have come.
Speaker A:That is healing and salvation and authority.
Speaker A:They came to us in Jesus.
Speaker A:When Jesus died on the cross and rose again, he defeated the power of the sin and the grave.
Speaker A:He defeated the power of the enemy.
Speaker A:He took back from, from the enemy the authority that had stolen.
Speaker A:He placed it back into the hands of mankind.
Speaker A:That is the faith of Jesus that, that that rose from the dead, that defeated the sin, the sin of the cross and the sickness at the cross that took the, the keys from the, from the gates of hell.
Speaker A:That very same power that raised Jesus from the dead and accomplished all of that now lives in the inside of you as a born again believer.
Speaker A:Man.
Speaker A:That just should make you feel like, as strong as horseradish, right?
Speaker A:And like you, like you could leap over a wall or run against a troop.
Speaker A:Man, I didn't realize all of that power and authority was on the inside of me.
Speaker A:Well, it is.
Speaker A:It is your spirit, man, is bursting with the power of God on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Man.
Speaker A:This is where, this is where the enemy gets scared.
Speaker A:It says here they overcame him, that's the enemy, by the blood of the lamb, that is by what Jesus did on the cross for you.
Speaker A:And it says by their ted.
Speaker A:The word of their testimony.
Speaker A:So we overcome by the blood of the lamb.
Speaker A:But what Jesus has already done for us and the word of our testimony, that is what we will be prepared to say about what Jesus has already done for us.
Speaker A:How?
Speaker A:What are you saying about what Jesus has already done for you?
Speaker A:You know this, this is a huge thing because it says this is how they overcame him.
Speaker A:This is how they overcame the enemy.
Speaker A:So if we put this into the context of healing today, let's just say a symptom is trying to attack your body.
Speaker A:Maybe it's a pain in the knee, right?
Speaker A:And you look at that knee and you can think, man, I can start limping around, hobbling around, holding your knee, bandaging your knee, taking painkillers for your knee, whatever it is, right?
Speaker A:Or we can say, hang on a minute, knee, what has Jesus already done for my knee?
Speaker A:Well, Jesus already paid the price for my knee to be whole.
Speaker A:Jesus already paid the price for that sickness and that disease.
Speaker A:Therefore I'm going to start talking to my knee about what Jesus has already done for me rather than allowing my knee to talk to me.
Speaker A:That's a little bit different, isn't it?
Speaker A:That's a little bit different response.
Speaker A:But you know, that gives us boldness.
Speaker A:This word, these scriptures that we're reading gives us the boldness and the authority to talk back to that symptom.
Speaker A:You know, I did not realize this for the longest time and I know, I mean, I had so many different things that I've been healed from.
Speaker A:You know, epilepsy and arthritic conditions and I mean, chronic asthma and life threatening allergies and you know, paralysis and I mean, just so many different things.
Speaker A:I was in a wheelchair by the time I was 18.
Speaker A:So many different things.
Speaker A:And every time a symptom came to me, I mean, I just thought, well, that's just the way it is, you know, I mean, I don't really.
Speaker A:I didn't recognize this power and authority that we're reading here in the scriptures, how it applied to me.
Speaker A:And because I didn't, I mean I read about it, but because I didn't under.
Speaker A:Have an understanding, have a revelation of that, I couldn't use it.
Speaker A:But it's important to see here and break this down, lest we be deceived and think some.
Speaker A:This word is weaker than it really is.
Speaker A:When we have this word on the inside of us and we choose to put faith in it and we choose to allow it to come out of our mouth, what we're doing here is learning the path to overcoming.
Speaker A:This path to overcoming is laid out for us.
Speaker A:It says, this is how they overcame him.
Speaker A:If you want to know how to overcome him, who is the behind sickness and disease?
Speaker A:It tells you in this very verse, it's by the blood of the Lamb, we.
Speaker A:Well, you know, we, we don't have to do anything with that because Jesus already done it.
Speaker A:He.
Speaker A:He already spilled his blood.
Speaker A:He.
Speaker A:He gave his blood for our sin and his body was broken for our sickness.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So we'd be, we'd become.
Speaker A:Well, he already did that part, but it's.
Speaker A:This is the next.
Speaker A:This is our part, the next part, the blood.
Speaker A:And by the word of their testimony, what are we saying about what Jesus has already done?
Speaker A:This is, this is the path of victory.
Speaker A:If, you know, people are always looking for a formula for, for overcoming.
Speaker A:If you're, if you're a formula kind of person.
Speaker A:This is, this is your verse.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:They over.
Speaker A: This is Revelations: Speaker A:They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, by what Jesus has done, by what I'm prepared to say about it.
Speaker A:So what am I prepared to say about it?
Speaker A:I'm a, I'm prepared to speak the truth and shame the devil.
Speaker A:Pain in the knee.
Speaker A:You leave right now, someone's actually getting delivered Right now of pain in their joints.
Speaker A:If you've got pain in your joint, put your hand on that joint right now.
Speaker A:Pain in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Leave now.
Speaker A:Get out.
Speaker A:Get out.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus that your healing power is flowing through their joints, every single one of them in Jesus name, removing pain and inflammation and soreness and arthritis.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:It's cleansing.
Speaker A:That cleansing power is running through those joints right now.
Speaker A:And pain is leaving.
Speaker A:Mobility is being restored now, immediately.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord.
Speaker A:We believe and we receive.
Speaker A:Now start to move.
Speaker A:Your joints start to move.
Speaker A:Start to check it out, right?
Speaker A:Because this is the path to overcoming.
Speaker A:This is.
Speaker A:This is how we move things.
Speaker A:This is how we start to operate in overcoming kind of faith.
Speaker A:I want to show you this, right?
Speaker A:Check yourself, by the way, and put it down in the comments.
Speaker A:Check yourself.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Okay, it says here, look at this in First John 4:17.
Speaker A:Get to another scripture here.
Speaker A:First John 4:17 says, Love has been perfected among us in this.
Speaker A:That we may have boldness in the day of judgment, because as he is, so are we in this world.
Speaker A:This you need.
Speaker A:If you do not have this underlined in your Bible, do it.
Speaker A:It's a good one.
Speaker A:We have boldness in the day of judgment because as he is, so are we in this world.
Speaker A:That doesn't mean that we're going to have an.
Speaker A:You know, it was just going to be amazing when we get to heaven, what we got to suffer through in this life.
Speaker A:No, this means we are as Jesus is right now on.
Speaker A:Let it be on earth as it is in heaven.
Speaker A:So this is talking about today.
Speaker A:We are as Jesus is.
Speaker A:We have the faith of the Son of God right here, right now, on the.
Speaker A:On the inside of us in this world.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:In this world.
Speaker A:It says, there is no fear in love because perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment.
Speaker A:But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.
Speaker A:You know, this is talking about the plan of the enemy.
Speaker A:You know the enemy's only weapon is deception.
Speaker A:And you know, he lost his keys when Jesus stripped those of him.
Speaker A:But now he will use deception and fear as torment.
Speaker A:He'll use those tools to take your focus, right?
Speaker A:This is important.
Speaker A:But he who fears has.
Speaker A:But we've been perfected in love.
Speaker A:This is huge.
Speaker A:This is how we get over fear.
Speaker A:Now I want to show you this scripture.
Speaker A:First John 5, verse 4.
Speaker A:Let's look this one up.
Speaker A:I want you to see this one First John 5:4, Okay?
Speaker A:It says, for whatsoever or whosoever is born of God overcomes the World.
Speaker A:And this is the victory that overcomes the world.
Speaker A:This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
Speaker A:And who is he that overcomes the world?
Speaker A:Who is this person?
Speaker A:Who is this overcomer in the realm of faith that we are talking about?
Speaker A:It is he who believes that Jesus is the son of God.
Speaker A:That's you.
Speaker A:If you're a believer.
Speaker A:This is talking about you.
Speaker A:You have.
Speaker A:I have world overcoming kind of faith.
Speaker A:Man, that does not sound like something that is weak and feeble and small and insignificant and full of defeat and, and sounds like a victim.
Speaker A:No, no, no.
Speaker A:This is world overcoming faith that we have on the inside of us.
Speaker A:This isn't somebody that just needs to, you know, travail a bit more and work a bit more and try harder a bit more and you know, maybe go to church a bit more and then one day maybe we'll have enough faith to overcome the ache and pain in our body.
Speaker A:No, no, you already have it right now you have the world overcoming kind of faith on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because our faith is not in our faith.
Speaker A:Our faith is in our Jesus.
Speaker A:And we have, we have Jesus on the inside of us, is never lacking in the faith department, who's never in fear, who's never even unbelief, who's never suffering in shame, right?
Speaker A:He's walking perfectly in the authority of Christ on the inside of us, that world.
Speaker A:The reason we have the victory is because we have Jesus.
Speaker A:We have the victory because we have Jesus.
Speaker A:We have the faith that overcomes the world because we have Jesus.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:This is almost like a multiple choice question where every answer is Jesus.
Speaker A:If in doubt, the answer is Jesus.
Speaker A:This is just so huge.
Speaker A:Don't over complicate things.
Speaker A:We have Jesus.
Speaker A:That means he leads us into triumph, he leads us into victory.
Speaker A:He in every area, you know, and that authority, that reality on the inside of us, it should stir you up.
Speaker A:It should give you that, that sense of boldness on the inside of us, you know, because this is a victory that's already been secured for us, isn't something we can work at.
Speaker A:You can't work at faith, right?
Speaker A:You have it because of Jesus.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:Jesus does for us what we can't do for ourselves.
Speaker A:If you feel like I can't do this by myself, you know what?
Speaker A:You're in exactly the right position because you got Jesus.
Speaker A:You're never by yourself.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:That Jesus is the deciding factor.
Speaker A:He's the deciding factor every time.
Speaker A:You know, when we moved to America, I Don't know why this testimony is coming to me, but.
Speaker A:But the Holy is the Holy Spirit, I'm sure.
Speaker A:But, you know, when we moved to America, there was.
Speaker A:There was a whole process of us just.
Speaker A:Just getting here.
Speaker A:You know, we had to get a visa.
Speaker A:It's really hard to.
Speaker A:To migrate countries legally, let's put it that way.
Speaker A:And so the legal path for immigration is challenging and expensive, and it takes a long time, and you definitely go through times when you feel like you are completely.
Speaker A:It's out of your hands.
Speaker A:But we had a word from the Lord to move to America.
Speaker A:Actually, this week, it's 17 years.
Speaker A:It's the anniversary of us moving to America.
Speaker A:We moved from England, if you didn't understand where my accent is from.
Speaker A:But that was a huge step of faith for us.
Speaker A:We were, you know, packing up our children that were five, seven, and eight at the time.
Speaker A:We packed all of our earthly belongings into 18 suitcases.
Speaker A:And I think, like 15 of those suitcases were toys, you know, and just, just a few clothes and belongings.
Speaker A:And we move country with no B plan.
Speaker A:Just a word from God and not enough money to get home.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So we were like, we, we.
Speaker A:We were all in at that point, but we knew that God is leading us to.
Speaker A:So we.
Speaker A:We got a ticket and we came and we got our visa.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And it wasn't the kind of visa that let you go work and get a job anywhere.
Speaker A:So we really, really did have to come by faith.
Speaker A:And we overcame a lot of challenges and we.
Speaker A:We learned what it meant to trust God for.
Speaker A:For the little things, for the daily things, for the health things.
Speaker A:You know, we didn't have any kind of health insurance.
Speaker A:You know, we didn't have any money for anything like that.
Speaker A:So, you know, we had to believe God for groceries, for a place to live.
Speaker A:We had to believe God for.
Speaker A:For provision.
Speaker A:We had to believe God to heal us from sickness and disease.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:We didn't have any B plan for that, you know, and after we'd been here for quite a number of years, we were able to transition that visa to a green card.
Speaker A:And so we applied for our green card.
Speaker A:And, and that meant that we had a lot more opportunities for work and different things.
Speaker A:But, you know, when we were going through that process and this just went on for several years, and by now, you know, we'd been living in America for at least five years.
Speaker A:And our kids, because they were so young when they moved, they really didn't.
Speaker A:They really didn't remember a whole lot of the country that they came from, America had become their home.
Speaker A:And, you know, they were in the school system and everything else.
Speaker A:And so we applied for our green card.
Speaker A:We were settled here, and this was our step, our next step.
Speaker A:And, you know, there's apparently a lot of fraud within that whole system of applying for a green card.
Speaker A:And so people that came, we came on a religious visa.
Speaker A:When people came on those religious visas, they said there's more fraud in that category, surprisingly enough, than any other category.
Speaker A:Now, I don't know whether that was true or it was just some kind of persecution, but, you know, they grilled us, they interrogated us, they sent us a letter.
Speaker A:And, you know, they, they, they kept asking for more and more evidence, even things that we'd sent in over and over again because they were stalling for time.
Speaker A:And, and every time they wanted you to send a piece of paperwork in, you know, it meant more filing fees and more money and everything else.
Speaker A:So it was, it was a long, a painful process.
Speaker A:And we get to this point where they, it was the, like the last step before approval.
Speaker A:And it had been going on two years.
Speaker A:This, this other process had been going on.
Speaker A:And so, you know, we get a letter in the mail and it says, you need to come in.
Speaker A:We believe that, you know, there's fraudulent activity or whatever.
Speaker A:We're going to investigate your case and you need to come in and you need to report to Denver at this time and this day.
Speaker A:And it was like 7am in the morning, really early in the morning in Denver for us was like an, at that time, like over an hour away.
Speaker A:So we were going to have to go with all the children, the young children.
Speaker A:And yeah, they said, well, they told us in the letter what we're going to do.
Speaker A:We're going to separate you into different rooms.
Speaker A:There's five of us, there's my husband and I, and then our children that were young children.
Speaker A:You know, our daughter's young, young, under 10.
Speaker A:She's like, I think eight or nine at the time.
Speaker A:She, she was young.
Speaker A:And they said, you know, we're going to separate you and we're going to do video interviews and we're going to make sure all of your, you know, you're all saying the same thing, basically.
Speaker A:And we want you to be at Denver at 7 in the morning and come in.
Speaker A:You're not allowed to take anything in for this interview.
Speaker A:Just you?
Speaker A:No, no, nothing else.
Speaker A:I'm like, my good, my goodness.
Speaker A:It felt like we were being interrogated.
Speaker A:And I remember going to the Lord in prayer during this.
Speaker A:This time, and saying, lord, you know, this was your.
Speaker A:And I just reminded.
Speaker A:This was your idea.
Speaker A:Lord.
Speaker A:You told us to.
Speaker A:To come to America.
Speaker A:We have followed you.
Speaker A:We followed you, you know, around the world.
Speaker A:We followed you through.
Speaker A:You know, through valleys and over mountaintops and rivers and streams.
Speaker A:We've followed you this whole time.
Speaker A:And here we are being treated like criminals, interrogated where they're going to take my children.
Speaker A:And, you know, do.
Speaker A:I mean, like, I was.
Speaker A:I was kind of angry, actually.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And the Lord said to me, don't worry.
Speaker A:He says, this is just a formality.
Speaker A:Well, that's a funny thing to say.
Speaker A:This is just a formality.
Speaker A:Don't worry.
Speaker A:This is just a formality.
Speaker A:And so I'm like, all right, I've got this in my mind.
Speaker A:I'm.
Speaker A:And I just chose to.
Speaker A:To believe him.
Speaker A:I'm, like, out as a mom, you know, when.
Speaker A:When you feel like somebody is coming against your family, there is something in, like, an innate Ra that comes out of you.
Speaker A:You know, Mama best starts to arise on the inside of you.
Speaker A:And.
Speaker A:And I was ready to defend my kids and my family, you know, but at the same time, I felt like this, you know, this American government was actually in control, more in control of my life than.
Speaker A:Than anything else.
Speaker A:And I had to really remind myself that I'm not submitted to the American government in the same way that I'm submitted to God Almighty, that he is a higher power and the government shall be upon his shoulders.
Speaker A:Now, I'm.
Speaker A:I'm submitted to authority, okay?
Speaker A:I'm not a rule breaker.
Speaker A:I live by the laws of the land.
Speaker A:That's not what I mean.
Speaker A:But sometimes we can look at these legal things.
Speaker A:We can look at these circumstances that we find ourselves in, and we can see those as bigger and more powerful than the word of God himself.
Speaker A:And in my heart, I had to bring back to my remembrance, don't worry, Carly.
Speaker A:This is just a formality.
Speaker A:There is a word that's bigger than the challenge that's ahead of you.
Speaker A:There is a word that you have to stand on that's greater than the letter of.
Speaker A:Of the plan, the evil plan that is coming against you.
Speaker A:And no word from.
Speaker A:No government is going to supersede a word from God in my heart.
Speaker A:That is the line that I drew in the sand.
Speaker A:And we, you know, we loaded the car up with kids early, early in the morning, and we made our way up to the immigration center there in Denver, and we parked and we went in.
Speaker A:And as we were Going and all the way there, I could feel my stomach was in knots.
Speaker A:There's butterflies going around.
Speaker A:I'm doing my best to stay in a place of peace, but everything in my brain, all of my emotions is restless totally against what's going on in my spirit.
Speaker A:And I'm sure you've got, you've had situations like that when you know the word, but also your, your emotions are going, right.
Speaker A:So I'm doing my best to keep it all together at that moment and, and, and to really kind of keep it together for my kids because I didn't want them to, to be intimidated and, and scared about this whole process that felt like we were going into the lion's den, you know, and so we, we go in and we sit in the waiting room.
Speaker A:And they told us that this whole process, you know, you could prepare for a six to eight hour wait.
Speaker A:And I'm like, first of all, we can't take any form of entertainment, Nothing.
Speaker A:So we're gonna have to sit in a waiting room with three young kids, stop them bouncing off the walls.
Speaker A:And, you know, like, we have no, no form.
Speaker A:I mean, the whole thing would just seemed like a parental nightmare.
Speaker A:But we go in and I walk in at 7am we walk in the door and we go through the security scanners.
Speaker A:They, they take all of our paperwork.
Speaker A:We have nothing on us.
Speaker A:Rather than us, we go in, we sit on these benches in this very sterile waiting room, like you're waiting at the DMV or something.
Speaker A:And, and I'm telling the kids, you know, it could be a while.
Speaker A:Just be patient, you know, we'll get out here, here as soon as we, we can, you know, and go get ice cream or whatever bribes I was trying to give him at the time to keep him quiet.
Speaker A:And, you know, it was seven.
Speaker A:It was like, I know.
Speaker A:Probably 10 minutes later, this man opens the door to the side and he says, terrades family.
Speaker A:And so we stand up expecting to, you know, go off into these separate little rooms and be videotaped, interrogated.
Speaker A:He says, oh, don't worry.
Speaker A:Because I was like, well, who do you want first?
Speaker A:You know, and, and he says, oh, no, don't worry.
Speaker A:He says, you can all come in together as a family.
Speaker A:He says, this is just a formality.
Speaker A:I'm like, that is exactly the words that the Lord told me.
Speaker A:Don't worry.
Speaker A:This is just a formality.
Speaker A:Well, in we go into his office, all five are squashed into this tiny little office.
Speaker A:And, you know, he's going through our paperwork and he's actually laughing at Ashley because he grew a beard.
Speaker A:He didn't have a beard in his picture.
Speaker A:And anyway, it was funny, but, you know, within 15 minutes, by 7:15, we were stamped, approved, and we were back in the car.
Speaker A:And that whole picture, that whole.
Speaker A:The letters of intimidation, the words from the enemy, the lie that the enemy had sent us and interrogated with us, the battle that we'd been going through for two years, suddenly, in that moment was over.
Speaker A:It was just a formality.
Speaker A:And I would encourage you, if you're going through something today, maybe you have been going through it for years, maybe you have been battling with symptoms for years, maybe you've been battling with some legal case for years.
Speaker A:And the enemy has sent you letter after letter after letter, beaten you down, tried to interrogate you.
Speaker A:You've been through treatment plans, and you've had no victory.
Speaker A:You know, one thing that the enemy will do is he wants to wear you down.
Speaker A:But remember this, the word that you have in Jesus supersedes any word that the enemy might have for you.
Speaker A:The word of God is higher authority for us as believers than any words, any letters of intimidation, even evil reports that the enemy might throw at you.
Speaker A:If you stick in a position of faith and refuse to move from the word that God gave you, your faith will bring you the victory.
Speaker A:Your faith has enough power on the inside of it in Christ Jesus to bring you to a place of overcoming, no matter what challenge it is that you are going through.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:The whole lie, the charade of the enemy that we've been building up to for two years came to a close in an instant.
Speaker A:It was just a formality.
Speaker A:You could say it was just a deception.
Speaker A:It.
Speaker A:It was just the enemy.
Speaker A:Your breakthrough is coming quickly.
Speaker A:Your breakthrough is coming quickly.
Speaker A:You know the darkest point of the night is right before the dawn.
Speaker A:You have the.
Speaker A:You know the moment before the sun rises.
Speaker A:You can look on your weather app.
Speaker A:You can see where the temperature it gets.
Speaker A:The coldest point, the darkest point, is right before the sun breaks through.
Speaker A:You know there is a breakthrough for you today.
Speaker A:There's a breakthrough that the Lord had planned for you from the very beginning, before there even was a challenge.
Speaker A:He already had a breakthrough for you.
Speaker A:That is why he's put his faith, the faith of his son on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Because it is more than enough power to bring you through, to cause you to overcome, to obliterate every lie, every plan, every deception of the enemy.
Speaker A:When the enemy comes at you, you remind him of his future, remind him what comes should come out of our mouth.
Speaker A:Isn't words of defeat and fear and shame and oh, ouch and.
Speaker A:And poor me.
Speaker A:No, it needs to come out.
Speaker A:The sound of victory.
Speaker A:Let the sound of world overcoming faith, the sound of victory come out of your voice.
Speaker A:You cannot be a victim and a victor in the same breath.
Speaker A:It's.
Speaker A:It's physically, spiritually, emotionally impossible.
Speaker A:The voice of victory is one that belongs to you.
Speaker A:It is the voice of the overcomer on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Remember, they overcame him, the enemy who is always the author of sickness and disease, by the way they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, by what Jesus did on the cross.
Speaker A:That's already done.
Speaker A:That's already finished.
Speaker A:His part is already completed.
Speaker A:But your part is the word of your testimony.
Speaker A:What is your testimony?
Speaker A:You know, when we testify, we are saying the same as about our situation than Jesus says about us.
Speaker A:We are saying that we have the victory, that he secured it for us.
Speaker A:That that pain cannot stay, that that symptom cannot last, that that report is null and void.
Speaker A:It is canceled out.
Speaker A:We're saying death, you've lost your sting.
Speaker A:You're saying you.
Speaker A:You're already declaring yourself the victor.
Speaker A:You know when Jesus last few words on the cross were words that we should have ringing in our ears.
Speaker A:And it is finished.
Speaker A:I think it's John 19, verse 30, I think around there.
Speaker A:Anyway, he says it.
Speaker A:He said it is finished.
Speaker A:Tetelestai.
Speaker A:You know what that phrase really means?
Speaker A:It means that the price has been paid.
Speaker A:That you know the war has been won.
Speaker A:It is a.
Speaker A:It is a victory cry.
Speaker A:It is saying, the sentence has been served.
Speaker A:It is already over.
Speaker A:The battle between the.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The gra.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The.
Speaker A:The powers of darkness and the kingdom of heaven is over.
Speaker A:The enemy's been defeated, obliterated.
Speaker A:You get to walk in freedom because Christ has set you free.
Speaker A:And now his risen power lives on the inside of you.
Speaker A:That resurrection power is the fuel for faith that overcomes.
Speaker A:You have world overcoming faith on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Never doubt your position of victory.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Your position of victory needs to be more real to you than the voice of the enemy.
Speaker A:This is.
Speaker A:That's powerful.
Speaker A:Your position of victory needs to become more powerful to you than the voice of the enemy, than the manifestation of a symptom.
Speaker A:Who cares about symptoms and disease when you already have the victory.
Speaker A:When your victory becomes more real to you than that symptom.
Speaker A:That symptom cannot stay.
Speaker A:Cannot stay.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:That's right, Justine.
Speaker A:Witchcraft is over.
Speaker A:The enemy is pathetic.
Speaker A:He doesn't have any new tricks, right?
Speaker A:He wasn't made a little lower than God himself.
Speaker A:He's a fallen angel underneath your feet.
Speaker A:His only power is deception.
Speaker A:Only.
Speaker A:The only power that he can possibly operate in today is deception.
Speaker A:You have so much more on the inside of you than he ever had.
Speaker A:He never had Christ in him, the hope of glory.
Speaker A:He never had God's name or authority.
Speaker A:He was never made in God's image.
Speaker A:You have everything that he wants.
Speaker A:That's why you're a target.
Speaker A:Because as Jesus is, so are we in this world.
