Speaker A:It was just beautiful to watch the sun come up on Resurrection morning.
Speaker A:And we prayed and we had our worship music on and just.
Speaker A:It was a sweet time with the Lord just remembering and being so thankful, you know, that that one resurrection day changed everything for everyone, for all humanity, for.
Speaker A:For all forever.

Speaker A:And just a hunch.
Speaker A:Thank you kids.
Speaker A:I think it's, you know when we say we've been married 28 years we get two different responses.
Speaker A:Usually people say oh that's a long time or people say we've been married, you know, a hundred years.
Speaker A:So you know, it's usually one or the other.
Speaker A:But 28 years, yeah, we think that's quite, quite a, quite a cool achievement.
Speaker A:Anyway, today we're going to be going through, we're going to be going through the healing module from Power Academy, Healing module two.
Speaker A:And lesson three, if you want to go on and get your notes or you can do that, you go to our website.

Speaker A:Does that sound good?
Speaker A:From Cascade, Colorado.
Speaker A:That is going to you just up the road there.
Speaker A:And the MP3 version is going to Kathy Deal from Mesa, Arizona.
Speaker A:Awesome.
Speaker A:Very cool.
Speaker A:So make sure if you'd like to enter it to win today's giveaway, we're going to be giving away this teaching series.
Speaker A:It's a one physical copy and one download copy of Everyday Faith.
Speaker A:And there's multiple, actually eight lessons on here.
Speaker A:This is quite a big series and it's talking all about faith, how to develop spiritual sight, how faith is a fruit of relationship with God, how to overcome doubt and unbelief, how to activate your faith and more and more.
Speaker A:That's the cliffhanger.

Speaker A:Right, so like.
Speaker A:And share.
Speaker A:We've already got people on here saying they liked it and shared it.
Speaker A:Joy knows what to do.
Speaker A:Very cool.
Speaker A:And then.
Speaker A:Hi, Ian.
Speaker A:Ian's in North Essex, England.
Speaker A:North Essex sounds a lot more posh than South Essex.
Speaker A:I know, right?
Speaker A:It is more.
Speaker A:It is more posh.
Speaker A:Posh than South Essex.
Speaker A:That's why Adele is in Africa, in Pretoria.
Speaker A:Awesome.
Speaker A:Shared.
Speaker A:That's it.
Speaker A:Monte and Amanda have shared it.
Speaker A:Dee has shared it.
Speaker A:Bev has shared it.
Speaker A:Very awesome.
Speaker A:And so, yeah, our team will go through next time and they'll look at, look at all the people that shared it and then they'll, they'll pull a name or whatever they do.
Speaker A:Watching from Stockton on Tears, uk.
Speaker A:I've got a lot of people watching from the UK today.
Speaker A:You know, we're going to be over in the UK actually really soon.
Speaker A:Let me get up my dates here.
Speaker A:Well, first of all, we're going to be at the Cure.
Speaker A:We're going to be doing our.
Speaker A:It's our healing, our annual healing conference in Woodland Park, Colorado, that is April 23rd to the 25th in Woodland Park, Colorado.
Speaker A:But then on a couple of weeks, we're going to be in May, the first to the second, we're going to be at Charis Bible College in Walsall.
Speaker A:We're going to be doing a Abundant Life event.
Speaker A:There's.
Speaker A:And so that's on the Friday and the Saturday, Ashley and I are going to be speaking with you, beginning to be doing a conference there in that location in Walsall.
Speaker A:And all of these events, by the way, are free.
Speaker A:We are they.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:We don't charge for our events, but we do ask you to register so that we know that you're coming.
Speaker A:So we're going to be in the UK up there in water, just north of Birmingham.
Speaker A:And then May 3rd, we're going to be at the Tree of Life Church in Guildford and also in Brentwood, we're going to be doing a morning and evening service.
Speaker A:So make sure that if you're in North Essex.
Speaker A:Listen, Ian, North Essex, we couldn't get any closer to you.
Speaker A:We're going to be in your hood right there.
Speaker A:Okay, so coming out to that.
Speaker A:And then we're hopping over to Germany May 5th and 6th, and then in June, we're going to be in Texas.
Speaker A:In August we're going to be in Missouri.
Speaker A:And in September we're going to be in North Carolina.
Speaker A:There we go.
Speaker A:I think that's enough.
Speaker A:That's enough to be getting on with in the middle of all that.
Speaker A:In July.
Speaker A:That's not even on here.
Speaker A:In July and August, we're also going to be in Kenya and Uganda.
Speaker A:Kenya and Uganda.
Speaker A:I'm really excited because we're going to be going out to visit.
Speaker A:One of the projects that we support as a ministry is the Kenya Orphanage Project.
Speaker A:And so we have like 10 orphans that we are supporting every month.
Speaker A:We're paying for all of their.
Speaker A:All of their.
Speaker A:All of their needs and their Christian education.
Speaker A:And we are going to be going over and get to visit them at the orphanage there in an Eldoret.
Speaker A:So in.
Speaker A:In Kenya.
Speaker A:So we're very excited to be going out there to do that.
Speaker A:And then I think we're going to be doing some meetings in Nairobi and we're going to be doing some meetings over in Uganda in Kampala, and we're going to be administering a church there as well.
Speaker A:I passed with Pastor Herbert, so we're really excited.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So Tabby, you're going to be in.
Speaker A:You're in Nairobi, Kenya, where we're going to be coming to Nairobi in August.
Speaker A:So watch out for that.
Speaker A:Watch out for that.
Speaker A:When are you coming to North Dakota?
Speaker A:You know what?
Speaker A:We would come to North Dakota, but we actually don't have a church connection there.
Speaker A:So if you are part of a pastor of a church that wants to invite us to North Dakota, we would prayerfully consider it.
Speaker A:There's only two.
Speaker A:There's only actually two states in America I haven't been to yet, and that is Vermont and North Dakota.
Speaker A:So we need to fix that, right?
Speaker A:We need to fix that.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:Van, I'm going to be agreeing with you for that nodule on your lung to dissolve right now.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:We command that nodule on your lung to dissolve in Jesus name.
Speaker A:And I agree with your confession that you are the healed of the Lord.
Speaker A:That is a good confession, Verna.
Speaker A:We command that PET scan to come back.
Speaker A:Clear.
Speaker A:Showing up nothing.
Speaker A:Showing up nothing in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Well, today we are going to get into this.
Speaker A:We're going to be talking about going from a place of just believing to receiving, from believing to receiving.
Speaker A:And that takes faith, you know, to go from a place of believing to receiving.
Speaker A:We're going to operate in some faith.
Speaker A:You know, even the enemy knows that is God's will for you to be.
Speaker A:Well, even Satan knows the word of God, right?
Speaker A:He.
Speaker A:He already knows.
Speaker A:But, you know, he doesn't want you to believe that to a degree where you have confidence, where you can receive it.
Speaker A:That's why he'll throw every other kind of spanner in the works that he can, every wrench in the works that he can for the Americans, right, to try to distract you, to try to get you off course, to get you believing some lies or some.
Speaker A:Some half truths and just to.
Speaker A:To just crush your faith butterfly so that you.
Speaker A:That it never takes off, so it's not in a place where it can receive it.
Speaker A:He tries to get your expectations so, so low that even when you read the Word of God, when you have people pray for you, that there really isn't any faith there for you to.
Speaker A:To reach out with and take a hold of everything that God has for you.
Speaker A:That's the plan of the enemy.
Speaker A:But today's teaching is going to stir you up in what you already have in Christ to a point where when we pray for you at the end, you can reach out and take a hold of it.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So if you need to have healing manifest in your body today, you have come to the right place.
Speaker A:We're going to be getting into the Word right now.
Speaker A:So if you have your Bible, get your Bible open and we're going to start in Ephesians chapter two.
Speaker A:You can be, we can be turning the pages and getting that ready.
Speaker A:But before we start, let me take a moment and just pray and thank the Lord.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that you're here with us.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that you give us ears to hear.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that you give us a mind to understand and our heart to, to receive everything that you have for us today.
Speaker A:In Jesus name, Amen.
Speaker A:And Amen.
Speaker A:Well, here we are.
Speaker A:Let's get into our scriptures here.
Speaker A:This is Ephesians 2, verse 8.
Speaker A:And it says, this is a great scripture.
Speaker A:It says, for by grace you have been saved through faith.
Speaker A:So it's by grace and through faith and that not of yourselves.
Speaker A:It is a gift of God.
Speaker A:Now this is really important because as believers, we are saved.
Speaker A:We are what we call saved, right?
Speaker A:We have received saved salvation.
Speaker A:And you know, that salvation came to us through the grace.
Speaker A:It wasn't, you know, the word grace is talking about.
Speaker A:It's actually the word carries.
Speaker A:It's grace.
Speaker A:It means benefit, right?
Speaker A:It means unmerited favor in a grace.
Speaker A:When we, when we, when we receive grace, we're getting something that we don't deserve.
Speaker A:We're getting something that we don't deserve.
Speaker A:Now this is really important.
Speaker A:There is a huge difference between, between mercy and grace.
Speaker A:Mercy would be the judge saying, you know, I'm going to commute your sentence.
Speaker A:You're not going to have to, you know, serve the six months in jail.
Speaker A:You know, you can get out after one month or you're not going to have to pay this, this huge fine.
Speaker A:I'm going to reduce it for you.
Speaker A:That would be mercy.
Speaker A:But no, God through his grace gave us Jesus.
Speaker A:And grace is the, is like the judge saying, you know, I have the right to sentence you.
Speaker A:I have the right to make you pay for your sin.
Speaker A:I have the right to make, to punish you for everything you have ever done wrong.
Speaker A:But instead of punishing you for what you've done wrong, I'm going to punish Jesus.
Speaker A:I'm going to punish Jesus.
Speaker A:So when Jesus died on the cross, that was the grace of God.
Speaker A:That meant that he served our sentence in our place.
Speaker A:That is the grace of God.
Speaker A:So when we received Jesus as our Lord and Savior, he took the punishment on the cross for all of our misgivings, all of our sin and everything that we'd ever done wrong up until that point, and everything that we're ever going to do wrong in the future, our past, present and future sin was covered by the grace of Jesus, death, burial, and resurrection.
Speaker A:That is your salvation in a nutshell.
Speaker A:So, you know, just on Easter Sunday, then, Resurrection Sunday, we were celebrating the fact that we don't have a Savior that's in the grave anymore.
Speaker A:You know, the tomb was empty on that morning because he's a risen Savior.
Speaker A:He defeated.
Speaker A:Defeated the power of death and the grave and sin and destruction.
Speaker A:He defeated that and rose from the dead so that we don't have to.
Speaker A:Man, that's a huge punishment.
Speaker A:Can you imagine the gravity of taking all of the sin, the punishment for all of the sin of all of the population of the world from the time it began to the time it will end, ever forever.
Speaker A:Jesus took all of that sin from every single person and, and paid for it on the cross.
Speaker A:So now when the enemy comes against us, when he tempts us with.
Speaker A:With something, you know, we.
Speaker A:He actually has no power over us.
Speaker A:We can stand against him and resist him.
Speaker A:Well, you know that the package of salvation, as awesome as it is, it's not just limited to salvation.
Speaker A:And here is where so many Christians miss out.
Speaker A:And, you know, they miss out for different reasons.
Speaker A:Sometimes it's because we just don't know.
Speaker A:We haven't been taught this.
Speaker A:We've been taught an aspect of salvation, but not the whole package.
Speaker A:Sometimes it's because we've been, you know, we just ignorant.
Speaker A:We don't know what we don't know.
Speaker A:And sometimes we've been taught things that are incorrect.
Speaker A:So I just want to cover this briefly today because it's important.
Speaker A:Salvation is so much more than just a ticket to heaven.
Speaker A:Salvation, the very word saved is.
Speaker A:It's so teary.
Speaker A:It's talking about a holocaust where we get sozo.
Speaker A:It's where we get the word save from, right?
Speaker A:Sozo.
Speaker A:And it means this.
Speaker A:It means to save, to heal, to preserve, to recover, to make well, to restore and to rescue.
Speaker A:So if you need healing today, the good news is the same faith through which you're saved is the same faith through which you're healed.
Speaker A:And this is important because sometimes people approach these two things very differently.
Speaker A:And they say, well, I have the faith to be saved.
Speaker A:I have the faith for Jesus to have wiped my sin away, but I'm just not sure I have enough faith to get that healing to manifest in my body.
Speaker A:Well, you know what?
Speaker A:If you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior at some point in your life and you can remember that and you're saved, then you already have enough faith to receive healing.
Speaker A:You already have saved.
Speaker A:If you already have saving faith on the inside of you.
Speaker A:You, by, by very definition, you have healing faith on the inside of you.
Speaker A:You already have exercised your spirit and soul, have already exercised this process of faith.
Speaker A:You're already an expert in the, in the faith department.
Speaker A:Maybe you haven't exercised faith and stretched it in and deployed it yet in the realm of healing, but you have that ability to.
Speaker A:On the inside of you.
Speaker A:Somebody needs to put that in the, in the comments there.
Speaker A:I'm an expert in the faith department.
Speaker A:I have faith.
Speaker A:I have faith to be healed.
Speaker A:Man, that is a great confession.
Speaker A:I have faith to be healed.
Speaker A:Slap that in the comments as a, as a statement of faith right now.
Speaker A:I do have faith to be healed because, you know, many times our experiences and even, hey, even our body and our symptoms can talk to us and they can lie to us and they can discourage us.
Speaker A:And those scan results can come back and they say, well, some, some faith giant you have.
Speaker A:Look, you know, there's no evidence of that.
Speaker A:Well, it doesn't change the fact that you have the faith to be healed on the inside of you.
Speaker A:And today we're going to stir you up to a point where you know how to deploy it.
Speaker A:That's right.
Speaker A:Bev says, I have faith to be healed.
Speaker A:Dee says, I have faith to be healed.
Speaker A:Travis is.
Speaker A:I'm an expert in the faith department.
Speaker A:You know, these are really important confessions.
Speaker A:Sometimes we have to let our body know what we already have rather than letting our body talk to us.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:So I want to show you the same scripture.
Speaker A:In the Amplified Classic edition, I just read Ephesians 2, verse 8.
Speaker A:In an amplified Classic, it says you're not of yourselves, of your own doing.
Speaker A:It does not come through your own striving, but it is a gift from God.
Speaker A:Now this is from the original, which we just read.
Speaker A:For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and none of yourselves is the gift of God.
Speaker A:So there's.
Speaker A:Here's the thing.
Speaker A:Sometimes people try and earn something that they've already got and it's futile because if you already have it, there's no payment to be made.
Speaker A:If there's no debt owing, you can't make a payment.
Speaker A:You can't make a payment.
Speaker A:It.
Speaker A:It's not there anymore, right?
Speaker A:And so it's a, it's a free gift.
Speaker A:It's a free gift.
Speaker A:I experience isn't a tangible thing at one time.
Speaker A:Now this was, we're talking over 20 years ago now, before the digital era.
Speaker A:And we, we had moved into a house, we Bought a house and we're raising our kids and it was a fixer upper and we didn't have any money so we were doing things bit at a time and we're saving and saving and this house was, hadn't it needed some severe remodeling and so we'd saved up enough money to buy some new kitchen cabinets.
Speaker A:And so the local like Home Depot, home Base I think it was, was having a sale and they were having 10 off.
Speaker A:And we're like, well this is perfect, we've saved up.
Speaker A:We're going to go and take advantage of the sound and order our kitchen cabinets.
Speaker A:And so we, we go to the store and we go through the planning thing and you know that at that point everything was on paper and pen and drawing it out with rulers and you know, tape measures and stuff.
Speaker A:And we planned our kitchen and, and they said to us, well, you can pay the balance in cash or if you want, we'll give you, if you want to put it on credit, we will.
Speaker A:It's interest free credit for like four years or something and we'll give you an extra 10% off.
Speaker A:Well, you know, we wanted the extra 10% off but we didn't really want the credit.
Speaker A:So I planned the next month when the statement came to just pay it off in full with the cash I had in the bank, but at least still take the 20% saving rather than the 10% saving.
Speaker A:I.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:So you know, our kitchen cupboards were delivered and they all came and there was a couple of times I had to phone them up and, and speak to someone because they, they forgot a small piece or something and they got it delivered.
Speaker A:Well, you know, I'm waiting and I'm waiting for the statement to come through and I phone up the shop and after a month, you know, I didn't get the first statement through and I'd never had any kind of credit before and I didn't really know how it worked.
Speaker A:And so I phoned them up and I said, you know, I'm waiting for my statement to come through because I, I'd like to pay the balance in full in cash.
Speaker A:And they said, oh well, you know, we don't have a record of it right now, but maybe wait a couple more months, don't worry.
Speaker A:They said we'll be billing you for the kit for the kitchen cabinets.
Speaker A:So I said, okay, well I wait a couple of months.
Speaker A:And still no letter arrived, no statement came through.
Speaker A:And I'm getting really concerned thinking, wow, I'm going to have this huge Debt that I owe.
Speaker A:And I'm not, you know, I don't want to be in a position, like, if they rack up all this interest, I don't want to be in a position where now I don't have the money to pay the balance in full.
Speaker A:Like, it was weighing on me that I had this debt out there, and I.
Speaker A:In my mind, it was getting bigger and bigger and bigger, and I'm, like, concerned about this thing.
Speaker A:And so each month that went by, I mean, I kept phoning up and saying, you must have a record of it.
Speaker A:And after about six months, I phoned up.
Speaker A:I'm like, I still listen.
Speaker A:I've received this kitchen.
Speaker A:You've delivered it to me.
Speaker A:We've installed it, but.
Speaker A:But I want to pay the bill.
Speaker A:But I haven't received the bill.
Speaker A:And they said, well, you know, when did you buy it?
Speaker A:And I said, well, it was on this weekend at the store.
Speaker A:And they said, well, we don't have any record of your purchase.
Speaker A:What's your name and what's your address?
Speaker A:And we have absolutely no record of your purchase.
Speaker A:So I said, well, that's really strange.
Speaker A:And I gave the name of the salesman.
Speaker A:Oh, no, that salesman doesn't work for us anymore.
Speaker A:You know, he quit shortly after that weekend.
Speaker A:Well, it turns out that there was no way, despite my best efforts, that I could pay that bill, because the people never had a receipt that it ever.
Speaker A:That there was ever any transaction.
Speaker A:So they said, even if you came into the store with the cash and tried to give it to us, we couldn't take it from you.
Speaker A:We have no record that that sale ever happened.
Speaker A:And so, you know, I was like, man, God, did we just get given a free kitchen?
Speaker A:You know, a free kitchen.
Speaker A:Now, that's a.
Speaker A:That's a sentiment.
Speaker A:And we did.
Speaker A:We never had to pay for that kitchen, despite my best efforts.
Speaker A:But, you know, here's the thing.
Speaker A:I'm pretty sure that wouldn't happen now because everything's digital.
Speaker A:We got to have the benefit of that.
Speaker A:But the Lord showed me through that.
Speaker A:That's a silly example.
Speaker A:But the Lord showed me you were concerned that you had a debt out there that was getting bigger and bigger and deeper and deeper that you weren't going to have the funds to pay.
Speaker A:And despite your best effort and your hardest work, no matter what you did, it wasn't good enough to be able to pay a debt.
Speaker A:And the reason it couldn't pay that debt, it was because that debt didn't exist.
Speaker A:It was already paid in full.
Speaker A:There was Nothing, Owen.
Speaker A:You see, when we give our lives to the Lord, when we receive Jesus, we become new on the inside of us.
Speaker A:It's a gift, the grace of God, the provision of God through that word, saved or sozo, not only can turn, can contain salvation, but it contains your deliverance, the gift.
Speaker A:And these are the gift.
Speaker A:The gift contains healing, it contains preservation, it contains recovery.
Speaker A:It contains your process to be made well, it contains restoration.
Speaker A:Sometimes we have things that have been removed.
Speaker A:If we put this in a healing context, maybe we've had bits removed from us, right?
Speaker A:We've had operations and things.
Speaker A:You know, the God, this word is powerful enough to put things back in your body that have been taken out and to take things out that.
Speaker A:That have been put in.
Speaker A:It's the restorative power of the gospel, and it means to rescue you.
Speaker A:That is, to deliver you from some sort of unforeseen danger, man.
Speaker A:If you're in danger, the power of the gospel can rescue you.
Speaker A:If you're missing or broken or lacking something, the power of the gospel can restore you.
Speaker A:If you're sick in your body, the power of the gospel can heal you.
Speaker A:If you're out there and you're abandoned or you've been lost in some way, or you have been failed to be protected, you've been taken advantage of because of vulnerabilities, you know, the power of God will preserve you.
Speaker A:It will protect you as much as it will save your soul from the.
Speaker A:From the.
Speaker A:From the.
Speaker A:The trappings of sin.
Speaker A:Then it'll heal your body, It'll deliver your mind.
Speaker A:It'll put things back together and restore things like they're brand new.
Speaker A:And this is a gift that you could never pay for because it's already been paid for on your behalf.
Speaker A:There's no debt, Owen.
Speaker A:Isn't that cool, right?
Speaker A:So this is a way bigger package deal.
Speaker A:This is a way better gift than.
Speaker A:Than just some of the salvation package that maybe some of us have been sold, right?
Speaker A:When you receive a gift, there's something that polite people say when someone gives them the gift, right?
Speaker A:Because one of the reasons, you know, one of the things people want to do is say, how do I receive?
Speaker A:How do I receive?
Speaker A:Well, what do you do when you receive a gift?
Speaker A:What's an appropriate response when you know that you have received a gift?
Speaker A:You just say thank you.
Speaker A:You don't have to try and pay for it.
Speaker A:You don't have to apologize for anything.
Speaker A:You just say thank you.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:You know, it's not difficult to receive a gift you know one of the meanings of the word grace, it means it's God's good pleasure to give it to us.
Speaker A:He willed to, he loved to, he desired to, he intended to give Jesus for us, man.
Speaker A:It's his good pleasure.
Speaker A:Now, that does, to me, just doesn't sound like a God that's trying to put sickness on me to teach me something.
Speaker A:When.
Speaker A:When God says this, this healing is my gift to you.
Speaker A:It's my good pleasure for you to have that.
Speaker A:That's what grace is.
Speaker A:That doesn't sound like a God that's trying to catch you out, that's trying to, you know, train you with some.
Speaker A:Some sickness.
Speaker A:No, it's a.
Speaker A:It's a father given his gift to his child.
Speaker A:Huge.
Speaker A:So I hope that is.
Speaker A:That has helped to maybe break down some of the preconceived ideas about God that some of us may have come into today's.
Speaker A:Today's gathering with.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Because God's a good father and he only has good things for us.
Speaker A:And if anyone in their life has ever been through a chronic disease or a chronic sickness, they will know that that isn't good.
Speaker A:They will know not only does it not feel good, it feels horrible, and it costs a lot of money, right?
Speaker A:It doesn't feel good.
Speaker A:There's nothing good about being sick.
Speaker A:There's nothing holy about being sick.
Speaker A:There's nothing holy about being disabled.
Speaker A:That is not God's best for us.
Speaker A:God only gives us health and life and strength, strength and freedom and deliverance and health and wholeness.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:That's all.
Speaker A:He gives us only good things.
Speaker A:And we don't have to do anything to earn that.
Speaker A:That is the grace of God.
Speaker A:So what is our response if all of this, this amazing package has been delivered to us by grace?
Speaker A:What is our faith response?
Speaker A:Because it says, Ephesians 2, verse 8 is where we're basing this from.
Speaker A:For by grace you have been saved and through.
Speaker A:Through faith.
Speaker A:Okay, so through faith, so we access that promise that grace has provided for us, that healing package as included in that, through faith.
Speaker A:Well, what is faith?
Speaker A:In the same way we looked at grace, we got to look at faith.
Speaker A:What does faith mean?
Speaker A:Well, faith is our response to what grace has already provided.
Speaker A:So imagine a closed door, a door that is.
Speaker A:I'm looking at my office door.
Speaker A:It's closed here, is completely shut.
Speaker A:Well, on one side of the door, you know, you can see a door back here.
Speaker A:1.
Speaker A:Imagine this on one side of that door being sickness and healing was on the other side, the Doorway is grace, but faith is the doorknob, right?
Speaker A:Does that help you?
Speaker A:If you're standing on one side of the door and you've got sickness and Jesus is on the other side, and Jesus has got healing, but the door is closed.
Speaker A:You know, the actual door itself is grace.
Speaker A:But the way to open that door that grace has provided is the doorknob.
Speaker A:We got to learn how to turn the doorknob so that we can enter through the door of grace and receive what's on the other side of that.
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:The healing that's on the other side of that.
Speaker A:Super exciting.
Speaker A:So faith being how we access everything that grace has provided.
Speaker A:Now, one ditch that people fall into sometimes is we is feeling like they have to do something outside of themselves, some extra special action that's not within themselves in order to get that.
Speaker A:And that mindset is kind of like earning it.
Speaker A:You can't earn it, but you do need to know how, what's available.
Speaker A:You need to know that healing's on the other side of the door.
Speaker A:You need to know that grace is provided for it.
Speaker A:And you need to know the mechanism by which you access that.
Speaker A:You need to know the mechanism, the doorknob, so that you can have access to it.
Speaker A:You can't earn it.
Speaker A:You, you don't need to pay a toll to open the door, right?
Speaker A:It's not going to cost you something, but you need to know how to, how, where the access point is and what's provided for you.
Speaker A:Otherwise you're never going to go through that.
Speaker A:You're going to stay on the, on the sickness side of the door rather than opening it and walking into freedom, walking into healing, right?
Speaker A:Really, really important.
Speaker A:So James 2, 7.
Speaker A:Let's look at this in the NIV 2:17 it says in the same way, faith by itself is not a com, if it is not accompanied by action is dead.
Speaker A:So that's not talking about earning your healing, that's talking about the action of faith which accesses that through that door of grace.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:There is an action.
Speaker A:So faith has action.
Speaker A:It's not action alone, but part of the, how should we say, characteristics of faith is it involves motion, involves an action.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:So faith that has a corresponding action.
Speaker A:If we're really in faith, there's going to always going to be some action.
Speaker A:Okay?
Speaker A:Faith itself is a verb.
Speaker A:And if it is not moving or growing or speaking or doing something, then it's probably not faith.
Speaker A:That's, that's one point.
Speaker A:But look at this, the Greek word.
Speaker A:Now we looked at the Greek word for grace, and that is, you know, and the Greek word for saved, and that is sozo.
Speaker A:Okay, but we're gonna.
Speaker A:Now we're going to look at the Greek word for faith, and it is.
Speaker A:And I'm probably going to pronounce this wrong, but it's pistis, pistis.
Speaker A:And it means faith, belief, trust or confidence, all of those things.
Speaker A:This is not a confidence in our ability.
Speaker A:This is a confidence in God.
Speaker A:Now, this is really important because when we say we don't have enough faith, what we're saying is I've looked at the amount of faith that I have, and I don't think in myself that I've got it.
Speaker A:Well, what you're really saying is I don't have faith in my faith.
Speaker A:Well, that's actually kind of correct.
Speaker A:We shouldn't have faith in our faith if we were of ourselves.
Speaker A:We don't have anything but we never of ourselves.
Speaker A:Because Jesus says he's never going to leave us off his aches.
Speaker A:And if we.
Speaker A:And if we have.
Speaker A:We have received Jesus, we've got the faith of Jesus on the inside of us, which is never lacking in the faith department.
Speaker A:We don't put our faith in our faith.
Speaker A:We put our faith in the faith of God that's on the inside of us.
Speaker A:That's a big difference.
Speaker A:We put the faith in the faith of God on the faith of Jesus that's on the inside of us.
Speaker A:My faith isn't placed in my ability.
Speaker A:My faith is placed in what Jesus has already done.
Speaker A:Because I'm confident that he has finished a work that I could never accomplish.
Speaker A:I. I'm confident that he has paid a debt that I could never owe.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:I'm confident that he has taken sickness as a punishment on his body so that I don't have to.
Speaker A:And my confidence is in his word.
Speaker A:Because he said so.
Speaker A:Because he said so.
Speaker A:And we know that when God says something, it carries a whole lot more weight than when Kylie says something.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Let's look at this.
Speaker A:Romans 10, verse 17.
Speaker A:So then faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Speaker A:This is how faith comes.
Speaker A:If we want to start to understand faith, the faith of God, we already have it on the inside of us.
Speaker A:But if we want to understand how that mechanism of faith works, right.
Speaker A:We first, we've got to know what it is.
Speaker A:It's trust and it's confidence.
Speaker A:Trust and confidence in what Jesus has already done.
Speaker A:Trust and confidence in.
Speaker A:In God's word as being infallible, as being higher than Our own experience.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A: s by hearing Something Romans: Speaker A:Wow, that's kind of deep, isn't it?
Speaker A:The more we hear about who God is, the easier it becomes for us to trust him.
Speaker A:You know, I think this is pretty logical, really.
Speaker A:The more you get to know someone, the more you get to know the character, you get to know their nature.
Speaker A:You know, I was just explaining at the beginning here, if you're just joining us, that On Saturday, on April 11, it'll be.
Speaker A:Ashley and I will have been married 28 years.
Speaker A:And I can tell you now, the day that I walked down the aisle to marry Ashley, we had, and we'd been engaged.
Speaker A:We got, well, we got engaged, met in the February, engaged in the August, married in the, in the April.
Speaker A:So I'd known him from meeting to marriage.
Speaker A:It was 14 months.
Speaker A:And I can tell you after 14 months, I decided to walk down the aisle and say I do to, you know, and become Ashley's wife.
Speaker A:I knew Ashley to a degree, but I only had 14 months worth of knowledge of Ashley.
Speaker A:14 Months worth of intimacy with Ashley.
Speaker A:That's a limited amount of understanding.
Speaker A:That's a limited amount of knowledge.
Speaker A:And I was confident to the point in him.
Speaker A:I could put trust in him, in the man who he was, in the godly man who he was enough to say, I want to commit my life to forever being joined in matrimony to you.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:That was a big level of trust and confidence.
Speaker A:But I can tell you now, after 28 years of marriage, 28 years of marriage and another 14 months of getting to know him first, I have a lot more trust and confidence in Ashley now than I did when I walked down the aisle on our wedding day.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because we have longevity.
Speaker A:Because I've known him.
Speaker A:I've known him in good times, I've known him in bad times, I've known him in difficult times.
Speaker A:I've known him how he handles abundance.
Speaker A:I've known how he handles lack.
Speaker A:I've known him how he handles how he responds under pressure, how he responds in grief.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:How he responds in different circumstances.
Speaker A:I know him because I have longevity with him and because we have a history.
Speaker A:We have a history together.
Speaker A:And I know that when he says something, he means it.
Speaker A:And over that 28 years, my level of trust and confidence in Ashley has, has gone from, has grown from a 14 month trust and confidence to a 28 year trust and confidence and, and you know, it's the same with our relationship with the Lord.
Speaker A:The more time we spend with our relationship with the Lord, you know, the more time we get to know Jesus, the more time we, you know, ask the Holy Spirit into our circumstances, the more we spend praying in our prayer language.
Speaker A:We're not doing those.
Speaker A:We're not going through those motions to get something, but we're investing in a relationship.
Speaker A:You know, the quality of a marriage is dependent on what you invest into that marriage.
Speaker A:If you want to have a good marriage, you have to invest into it.
Speaker A:You can't just take stuff from a marriage.
Speaker A:You have to put something into it.
Speaker A:You will get a return.
Speaker A:It's like the stock market.
Speaker A:You'll get return on your investment.
Speaker A:Right, but it's just part of relationship.
Speaker A:There's equity on both sides, and so that takes time.
Speaker A:The more we hear the gospel, the.
Speaker A:The more we hear the word of God, and I'm not talking about man's interpretation of the word of God.
Speaker A:The more we get into the scripture for ourselves, the more we hear the gospel of power, the more that faith on the inside us starts to get stirred up.
Speaker A:And it comes by hearing.
Speaker A:Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Speaker A:It doesn't say faith comes.
Speaker A:Having heard one time, that would be like saying, you know what?
Speaker A:My husband told me one time he loved me and that was good enough.
Speaker A:No, no, no, no.
Speaker A:I get to understand and really grasp how much my husband loves me because he says it over and over again.
Speaker A:But more than just saying it, he demonstrates it.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:He demonstrates it.
Speaker A:And his love doesn't fail in for me if I mess up my.
Speaker A:His love doesn't fail for me if I get out of bed on the wrong side, if I have a bad attitude, if I, you know, accidentally have a laundry accident and dye his favorite shirt the wrong color or right.
Speaker A:I mean, it's a mistake.
Speaker A:You know, his love for me doesn't fail because I mess up.
Speaker A:Because his love for me is proven over a longevity.
Speaker A:And it's the same with our relationship with the Lord.
Speaker A:God has proved his love for us.
Speaker A:He didn't just say it one time, but he's proved it over and over and over and over again in His Word.
Speaker A:He says it over and over and over and over again.
Speaker A:You know, in our life.
Speaker A:He's delivered us over and over and over and over again.
Speaker A:He's healed us, he's forgiven us.
Speaker A:I mean, how many times just.
Speaker A:Just on forgiveness, how many times have you messed up and the Lord's already forgiven you before you even needed it.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:His love for us has been proven.
Speaker A:But we get to know that by spending time with him.
Speaker A:And faith and trust and confidence in that relationship, in the, in the depth of that relationship, comes the same way in, through faith that it does through our natural relationships, through hearing and hearing and hearing nothing, someone's opinion, but hearing and hearing and hearing the word of God.
Speaker A:If you want to stir yourself up in the faith department, then you need to be hearing the word of God over and over and over and over again.
Speaker A:You know, I want to encourage you.
Speaker A:You know, we just celebrated the 20th anniversary of our daughter Hannah's healing.
Speaker A:That's miraculous testimony.
Speaker A:You know, she was given just a few days to live from an incurable autoimmune disease.
Speaker A:She was literally at death's door.
Speaker A:Door.
Speaker A:She was at three and a half years old in pretty much a vegetative state, hooked up to machines.
Speaker A:And you know, the doctors didn't expect her to live and with, with, you know, within the nick of time, within a few days of the end of her life, God supernaturally healed her.
Speaker A:I mean, to the point where we disconnected her from those machines that were keeping her alive to where vitality and life and energy came back into her body.
Speaker A:All of her functions that she wasn't able to perform anymore came back to her.
Speaker A:She was walking, talking, eating, everything that playing.
Speaker A:Running suddenly from deathbed to a normal three and a half year old in a matter of hours.
Speaker A:That was a miracle, a certified miracle documented in the hospital report.
Speaker A:Right now that happened 20 years ago.
Speaker A:But before that, what led up to that moment at which, you know, that faith became now faith for Hannah's miracle healing, there was a process of time, you know, and, and we've just done a recap documentary actually.
Speaker A:The short version is out.
Speaker A:I think the three minute version's out.
Speaker A:But there's going to be a, like a feature length documentary that's going to be coming out soon and so you'll get to see where she is now, you know, 20 years later after being healed.
Speaker A:But you know, what led up to that moment, that moment where we crossed over from, you know, I believe this till I receive this.
Speaker A:You know, it was a crescendo of everything that went before that, you know, everything that went.
Speaker A:We were people that were in the word of God.
Speaker A:We had some missing gaps in our understanding.
Speaker A:We knew that there was a door called grace.
Speaker A:We knew that Jesus and his miracle healing was on the one side of it, but we were standing on the side of sickness.
Speaker A:We knew that it was there, but we did not know how to find the door handle, the door handle of faith to which to access it until some of those.
Speaker A:Those holes in our understanding were filled in, in the word of God.
Speaker A: And this process here, Romans: Speaker A:We took time in our life to hear and hear and hear the word of God and to a point where that word of God became alive on the inside of us.
Speaker A:And we said, you know, whatever happens in the natural, we have more confidence and more trust in the word of God being true than we do in the circumstances that we see with our natural eyes.
Speaker A:And the moment that, that.
Speaker A:That reality that healing was for Hannah and Hannah was already healed, the moment that that reality actually manifest, that, you know, that was the crescendo.
Speaker A:It came to a point where we, like we.
Speaker A:We had to decide what is our faith action in all of this.
Speaker A:We finally filled in the holes.
Speaker A:Faith has come by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Speaker A:We've prayed for her according to the word of God, not according to the word of doubt and unbelief in the doctor's report, but we've declared the word of God over her.
Speaker A:And now if we.
Speaker A:What happened to us when we came to a point where we had to say, if we really believe this, then there will be an action of faith.
Speaker A:What comes out of our belief system.
Speaker A:And for each person, that's going to be a little bit different.
Speaker A:But you know, that trust, that trust needs to be in more in God than in our own actions.
Speaker A:We're not doing an action to prove that we're in faith.
Speaker A:We were reaching for that doorknob of faith because we really believed it, right?
Speaker A:We wasn't turning a doorknob, hoping and a wishing that some kind of actions is going to make healing manifest.
Speaker A:No, we were acting because we believed it.
Speaker A:This is a really big deal.
Speaker A:I want to read you this.
Speaker A:This is in Hebrews 11, verse 1 and 2.
Speaker A:Now, faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Speaker A:For by it, the elders obtained a good testimony.
Speaker A:Now, we all want a good testimony, don't we?
Speaker A:We all want a good testimony.
Speaker A:But, you know, we.
Speaker A:In order to get there, there needs to be an operation of faith.
Speaker A:There needs to be an operation of faith.
Speaker A:So where does faith operate?
Speaker A:Because faith doesn't operate in a seen realm.
Speaker A:It operates in an unseen realm.
Speaker A:And all of those actions that I just talked about, you know, we were reading the word of God.
Speaker A:I may be saying Listen, I've been reading, I've been praying, I've been fasting, I've been worshiping, I've been doing all these things, but I'm not seeing any difference.
Speaker A:Maybe, maybe this is where you're at right now.
Speaker A:Well, the reason you're praying and that you're worshiping and that you're, that you're fasting and you're praying in tongues and all those things, it isn't.
Speaker A:It shouldn't be to get something.
Speaker A:It should be to build you up in your most holy faith.
Speaker A:You're not.
Speaker A:You're not doing an action to prove your faith.
Speaker A:You're not doing an action to get a healing.
Speaker A:That's not the secret passway, the password.
Speaker A:There's not the secret code to open the door.
Speaker A:Those very actions, what they do is they benefit you.
Speaker A:They don't benefit the situation you're going into.
Speaker A:They benefit you personally.
Speaker A:When you read the word, when you pray, when you fast, when you, when you pray in the Holy Ghost, when you worship.
Speaker A:And that doesn't change the circumstance outside of you.
Speaker A:That changes you.
Speaker A:There is a work that's going on on the inside of your heart to where your heart is going through this phase of being fully persuaded.
Speaker A:Now I want to show you something because this is in Hebrews and it starts.
Speaker A:It's Hebrews 11 says, now faith is the substance of things hoped for.
Speaker A:So there's going to be some evidence when you're in faith, right?
Speaker A:But sometimes there is a process.
Speaker A:And I will look, I want to show you a process that happened to men in the Bible.
Speaker A:And, and Hebrews 11 is the famous faith hall of fame is the faith chapter.
Speaker A:Abraham is in that chapter now.
Speaker A:He's in that chapter because he had to learn this principle of faith and how it operates.
Speaker A:He went through a situation where his wife was barren.
Speaker A:They're in their 90s.
Speaker A:He'd already tried having children with his.
Speaker A:His servant, right?
Speaker A:And that kind of got messed up.
Speaker A:And they had an ishmael, and that's a whole nother story.
Speaker A:But, you know, they were barren.
Speaker A:And God has give.
Speaker A:Gave him a promise that he was going to be the father of many nations.
Speaker A:And it seemed completely impossible.
Speaker A:But I want to show you something.
Speaker A:You know, Abraham didn't have it all together in the realm of faith.
Speaker A:And he surely didn't start out his journey as a man that was full of faith.
Speaker A:Now he's in the faith hall of fame.
Speaker A:But, you know, he had to go through a process in order to get there.
Speaker A:Now he's recognized for the challenge that he had.
Speaker A:He's recognized for faith because he had to overcome in the realm of faith.
Speaker A:You know, he, he, he wasn't this great super faith giant.
Speaker A:In fact, he sold his wife off and passed her off as a, you know, as his half sister rather than telling him, actually, she's also my wife.
Speaker A:And he did it two times in order to protect himself.
Speaker A:He wasn't somehow some great faith giant.
Speaker A:He had to learn how to trust God for his own protection.
Speaker A:He had to learn how to trust God for his own deliverance.
Speaker A:And, and he had to learn how to trust God for his wife to conceive and have a child.
Speaker A:Now he's the great test that he went through afterwards.
Speaker A:That was the whole being willing to sacrifice that child later on and being delivered from that.
Speaker A:But he was willing to because he knew that God was faithful.
Speaker A:Even if he had to sacrifice Isaac to raise him up again.
Speaker A:He knew he'd learned by that point.
Speaker A:God is faithful.
Speaker A:I can trust God.
Speaker A:God.
Speaker A:And if God has said it then, then I can take it to the bank.
Speaker A:God has said it, then I could.
Speaker A:If I can believe it and I can see it, then I'll sure will surely have it.
Speaker A: d is faithful, you know, Mark: Speaker A:He says, have faith in God.
Speaker A:Don't give up.
Speaker A:Don't cast aside your confidence because it has such great recompense of reward.
Speaker A:Don't give up in the realm of faith in which you start started just because you have a circumstance.
Speaker A:You haven't seen change yet.
Speaker A:Don't give up just because you have a doctor's report that comes back that says something's worse than it was before.
Speaker A:Don't give up because you haven't seen a symptom.
Speaker A:Leave yet.
Speaker A:Don't give up in faith.
Speaker A:God is faithful.
Speaker A:You know, the enemy's a quitter.
Speaker A:The enemy is a quitter.
Speaker A:You are not a quitter.
Speaker A:You were raised to overcome.
Speaker A:You were raised by faith and patience to inherit the promises, man.
Speaker A:You were raised to be victorious in every area.
Speaker A:But if you will quit, you will not win.
Speaker A:Someone needs to hear this today.
Speaker A:But the darkest point of the night is right before the dawn.
Speaker A:Do not give up in the realm of faith.
Speaker A:Do not quit believing God.
Speaker A:Do not quit trusting his word.
Speaker A:Do not quit letting that confession come out of your mouth, man.
Speaker A:It's so important you know this, this whole thing with Abraham and Sarah.
Speaker A:God told him a word that you were going to be the father of many nations.
Speaker A:And you know what his response was so shall my seed be.
Speaker A:So shall my seed be.
Speaker A:You know, he had to get five words and he had to stand on those five words for 25 years before he saw his wife conceived.
Speaker A:Now, it wasn't God that was keeping that, that, that child away, that, that conception away from Abraham and Sarah for 25 years.
Speaker A:No, God just knew it was going to take 25 years for Abraham's heart to be fully persuaded.
Speaker A:There was a process in that.
Speaker A:Now remember before you say, oh my gosh, I can't wait 25 years to be healed, you don't need to make this a long ordeal.
Speaker A:Remember, Abraham didn't have what you have today.
Speaker A:Abraham didn't have the finished work of the Bible.
Speaker A:He didn't have even the, the Old Testament.
Speaker A:It hadn't been written yet.
Speaker A:He didn't know that there was going to be an Old Testament and then a New Testament.
Speaker A:And then Jesus was going to come and pay the price for everything past, present and future.
Speaker A:And he didn't know that the Holy Spirit was going to come and dwell on the inside of people.
Speaker A:You have far more today than Abraham had.
Speaker A:You have the Holy Spirit, you have a risen Savior, you have a whole Bible.
Speaker A:You have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit on the inside of you, man, you've got so much more.
Speaker A:He had five words and nothing else.
Speaker A:That's all Abraham had to hold to for 25 years.
Speaker A:So yes, the period that he had from the point at which he heard from God to the point in which he saw that manifest was a lot longer back then, 25 years long than our journey needs to be today.
Speaker A:And look what happened with his five words of faith.
Speaker A:Just five words of faith can suck it to the enemy, right?
Speaker A:He conceived a child when he, him and his wife were well in their old age.
Speaker A:And he truly became the father of many nations and made it for from a place of doubt and unbelief and self preservation to I'm going to believe God to the point where I'm willing to sacrifice my son because I know God will raise him from the dead.
Speaker A:And making it in the, in the, into the faith hall of fame, that was progress.
Speaker A:So no matter where you are in your faith journey today, you can take the word of God.
Speaker A:Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.
Speaker A:You can saturate yourself in it until your heart goes through the process process that Abraham went through and becomes fully persuaded.
Speaker A:Let me look at this with you, okay?
Speaker A:In Hebrews 12:2, it says looking unto Jesus, the author and Finisher of our faith.
Speaker A:What he started in you, he will finish.
Speaker A:He will finish what he started.
Speaker A:There is a seed of healing on the inside of you.
Speaker A:You are pregnant with a seed of healing in.
Speaker A:Because.
Speaker A:Because if you've received Jesus, you've received the healer on the inside of you.
Speaker A:That's one whacking great big seed, right?
Speaker A:Jesus is never lacking in the faith department.
Speaker A:The very healer lives on the inside of you.
Speaker A:That is more than enough faith you're ever going to need for any problem that might ever come against you.
Speaker A:More than enough.
Speaker A:More than enough.
Speaker A:He is the author and the finisher of your faith.
Speaker A:We can always trust Jesus with faith.
Speaker A:We could always put our trust in Jesus.
Speaker A:It might be time that we start saying, I'm going to finish in faith.
Speaker A:I'm going to finish my race in faith.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that you will finish what you started in me.
Speaker A:And sometimes, you know, we get to a point where we pray and maybe the symptom gets a little bit better.
Speaker A:Maybe, you know, the pain goes a little bit.
Speaker A:Maybe our vision becomes a little clearer.
Speaker A:Maybe, maybe we get a little bit more mobility back.
Speaker A:Maybe we just start to feel a little bit stronger.
Speaker A:But we still have some symptoms in our body.
Speaker A:Don't quit.
Speaker A:Don't quit.
Speaker A:This is so important.
Speaker A:We got to focus on the finish line.
Speaker A:Focus on the finish line.
Speaker A:Don't get worried about the stuff that happens in between.
Speaker A:Don't quit.
Speaker A:You know, when I was in high school, I was.
Speaker A:I mean, I've always been short, right?
Speaker A:95 Foot, but I was even shorter then.
Speaker A:I was like 4 foot and change.
Speaker A:And they put me in for the hurdles and the long jump and the high jump.
Speaker A:I don't know why.
Speaker A:I guess I was springy or something.
Speaker A:One of my nicknames when I was in school was Tigger.
Speaker A:I was kind of bouncy.
Speaker A:Small but bouncy.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:But, you know, usually the people, the girls that were in my class were much, much taller than I was.
Speaker A:I was competing against girls that looked like they were Amazon warriors.
Speaker A:And I'm half their size.
Speaker A:But they used to put me in for these events for the school.
Speaker A:And I remember once training for hurdles and the hurdles.
Speaker A:You know, they start you off in the baby hurdles.
Speaker A:They don't put you on the big hurdles because the big hurdles are like, like three foot high.
Speaker A:And if you're only four foot and challenge, I mean, that's like, you know, up in my chin.
Speaker A:These are big hurdles for me.
Speaker A:And so they start you low down and you get more confidence and you realize, if I can jump over that hurdle, that little hurdle, you know, and then they put it up a little bit.
Speaker A:But you start to perfect your technique of crossing the hurdle.
Speaker A:And what they're doing is they're training you in technique.
Speaker A:That's more important.
Speaker A:The technique is far more important when running a hurdle race than the speed when it comes to start with.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because if you have bad technique, it doesn't matter how low the hurdles are, you're going to hit them every time.
Speaker A:And the more you hit a hurdle and you by the time your knees have hit a few hurdles and they're red and bloody and swollen, what's going through your mind when you come to approach the next hurdle is the last hurdle that you just hit.
Speaker A:You know, faith is kind of like that.
Speaker A:We cannot afford to quit.
Speaker A:We cannot afford to take our eyes off the word of God when we're in a challenge that could cost us our life.
Speaker A:We cannot afford to take our vision off of what does the word say?
Speaker A:Because the word can be trusted.
Speaker A:Because the word doesn't fail.
Speaker A:Because God doesn't fail.
Speaker A:Because he always keeps his promises and because healing is for me.
Speaker A:We can't afford to take.
Speaker A:Take our eyes off what does the word say?
Speaker A:And look around at the circumstances and look around at our bloody, swollen knees, because you know what happens next time we have a hurdle, we're going to have that bloody, swollen knee in our vision rather than the word of God.
Speaker A:And we're going to enter into that hurdle with the wrong technique.
Speaker A:We're going to try taking that next hurdle with the technique that was in the flesh rather than in the spirit.
Speaker A:And we'll hit it every time and disappoint.
Speaker A:Ointment will compound and compound and compound, and we'll find ourselves just in a very difficult spot to get out of.
Speaker A:You know, hope deferred makes the heart sick, but when it comes forth, it is a tree of life, is what it says in Proverbs.
Speaker A:The only way that we're going to make that to the finish line is by keeping our eyes on the finish line.
Speaker A:You know, my coach said to me one day, if you.
Speaker A:If you want to stop hitting the hurdle and stop bloodying up your knees, you got to stop looking at the hurdle that you're approaching and look past it.
Speaker A:You've got to learn to look beyond the hurdle.
Speaker A:This is a word for someone today.
Speaker A:You need to look beyond the symptoms.
Speaker A:You need to look beyond the disease.
Speaker A:Look beyond the problem that is right in front of you that's trying to block your vision.
Speaker A:You know when something is so, so close is in front of your eyes, it blocks out everything else that's going on.
Speaker A:The only perspective that you start to see is the thing that's right in front of you because it's so close you can't see around it.
Speaker A:But if you take a step back, Lord, what are you doing that I cannot see?
Speaker A:You will stop looking only at that problem.
Speaker A:And somebody.
Speaker A:I'm speaking to you.
Speaker A:There's somebody you're so focused on receiving, healing, that you don't approach the word for anything else, that you don't approach God with any other concern.
Speaker A:And that healing or that disease has become like this to you.
Speaker A:You can't see what God is doing because that sickness is right up close in front of you.
Speaker A:It's almost like you got to take a little step back to get the whole perspective here.
Speaker A:Otherwise, you are not.
Speaker A:You're going to quit.
Speaker A:You're going to get disappointed every time you see or feel something contrary to the word of God.
Speaker A:And you're going to be like, well, that didn't work.
Speaker A:I tried that, man.
Speaker A:No, listen, that's exactly what the enemy wants you to do.
Speaker A:Remember, he's a quitter.
Speaker A:You're not.
Speaker A:Take a step back and see the finish line.
Speaker A:Look over the top of the hurdles to the finish line.
Speaker A:Start to see yourself running through the tape, crossing through the.
Speaker A:Through the finish line, finishing your race fit and healthy and well and strong.
Speaker A:Get a picture of that on the inside of you and declaring.
Speaker A:And every time that hurdle of sickness comes up like this, you just say, no, I'm going to the finish line.
Speaker A:That Jesus is the author and the finisher of my faith.
Speaker A:His healing is for me.
Speaker A:And I'm going to finish this race healthy, whole and strong.
Speaker A:You don't have to be taken out by sickness.
Speaker A:You don't have to be taken out by disease.
Speaker A:You need to start seeing it on the inside.
Speaker A:I'm going to finish my race healthy, whole and strong.
Speaker A:You need to convince yourself in some aspects, right?
Speaker A:And we do this by getting the word of God on the inside of us clearer than any other voice around us.
Speaker A:Powerful, powerful.
Speaker A:Look at this.
Speaker A:Abraham, he knew he couldn't keep a covenant.
Speaker A:God knew Abraham couldn't keep a covenant perfectly.
Speaker A:That's why he included Abraham in the covenant that he made with himself.
Speaker A:In the same way, when we enter into a covenant with God, enter into the covenant God made with Jesus.
Speaker A:You know, we have so much more than Abraham ever had.
Speaker A:You know, his name was Abraham before God changed his name.
Speaker A:God actually put the letter.
Speaker A:We call it the letter H in Abraham's name to go from Abram to Abraham, to go from Sarai to Sarah.
Speaker A:He put part of his name, Yahweh, into the name of Abram to make it Abraham.
Speaker A:He made a covenant with Abra, with Abram to become Abraham.
Speaker A:He put part of himself into him.
Speaker A:That was a type and shadow of when we received Jesus.
Speaker A:Jesus comes in to us.
Speaker A:He, God made a covenant with Abraham, with himself, because he knew by himself Abraham could never keep it.
Speaker A:Man, we have such a better covenant today.
Speaker A:Anyway, I want to read to you this scripture and then I'm going to pray for you.
Speaker A:I'm getting too excited about this teaching.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:This is in Romans 4, verse 18 to 21 in the MEV, the modern English version.
Speaker A:It says, against all hope.
Speaker A:He believed in hope.
Speaker A:So against all of the natural circumstances, he believed anyway that he might become the father of many nations.
Speaker A:According to what was spoken, so shall your descendants be.
Speaker A:Well, so shall your seed be.
Speaker A:It says in some translations, social.
Speaker A:Your descendants be.
Speaker A:He took those five words from God and he put them in his heart and he said, and.
Speaker A:And he held them in there.
Speaker A:And it says, and not being weak in faith, he did not consider.
Speaker A:Oh, come on, somebody say did not consider.
Speaker A:He did not consider his own body to be dead when he was about 100 years old.
Speaker A:Not nor yet the deadness of Sarah's womb.
Speaker A:He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief.
Speaker A:But.
Speaker A:But he was strong in faith, giving glory to God.
Speaker A:Now, I want to pause here for a moment.
Speaker A:Being strong in faith, giving glory to God.
Speaker A:There is an act of worship that comes that often precedes your breakthrough.
Speaker A:Someone need to hear this.
Speaker A:There is often an act of worship that precedes a breakthrough.
Speaker A:This isn't a formula.
Speaker A:This is just my Carly observation.
Speaker A:We were praised with our daughter Hannah.
Speaker A:We were fully persuaded in our heart that God had already healed Hannah.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:That that power was already available for us.
Speaker A:So much so that we were praying for other people in our congregation, seeing healing before.
Speaker A:We were excited.
Speaker A:We had the joy of the Lord.
Speaker A:We.
Speaker A:We were worshiping God like we were unabandoned faith.
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:I mean, we just cast off restraint.
Speaker A:We were worshiping God not because we were trying to get Hannah to be healed, but we were worshiping God, giving glory to God because God's good.
Speaker A:Because no matter what happened with our daughter, it wasn't going to change the fact that God is good, that God is good, that he's only good, that he only had good things for us, that he only had good things for Hannah.
Speaker A:We, we didn't need a physical circumstance to change in order to show us that God is good.
Speaker A:We were just rejoicing because we were giving glory to God.
Speaker A:So here and then right after that, she received her healing look, he says, but strong in faith, giving glory to God and being fully persuaded that what God had promised, he was able to perform.
Speaker A:Man, when you get a picture on the inside of, of who God says you are and what he has done for you, man, when you start to give glory, I'm just still excited about resurrection Sunday.
Speaker A:Man.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that that tomb, it didn't have a body in it.
Speaker A:I thank you, Lord, that you know what our Savior is, not a bag of bones in a grave somewhere.
Speaker A:We're not like worshiping a dead skeleton of Muhammad, right?
Speaker A:We're worshiping a risen savior, that the tomb is empty because we have a risen Savior.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus, that that changed everything for me and my family.
Speaker A:Thank you, Jesus, that that meant healing is available to me today.
Speaker A:Thank you, Lord, that that changed my destiny and the generations to come after me.
Speaker A:When we place thanks and worship God because of who he is and what he has already done, that thing that is right up close to you suddenly starts to lose perspective.
Speaker A:Suddenly we start to back away.
Speaker A:We start to see, hang on a minute, God's faithful, God's well able to perform everything that he already said he had.
Speaker A:He's well able, he's finishing what he started.
Speaker A:We start to lose the doubts in our and the symptoms we start, I like to say it this way, we start to doubt our doubts.
Speaker A:We start to doubt our symptoms.
Speaker A:Man, just think about this.
Speaker A:What would happen if the next time a symptom appeared in your body, rather than saying, oh my gosh, I have a symptom in my body, we say, I doubt you.
Speaker A:I don't believe you.
Speaker A:When your body is telling you, ow, that hurts.
Speaker A:I don't believe you.
Speaker A:I don't believe you.
Speaker A:Pain.
Speaker A:I'm just not listening to you.
Speaker A:I don't believe you.
Speaker A:Man, your body would be so confused.
Speaker A:You know, we're so used to responding to every ache or pain or thing that we see with our eyes.
Speaker A:That's only natural.
Speaker A:It's only one part of the picture, literally, that we miss everything that's happening in a supernatural realm, in a spiritual realm.
Speaker A:This by far, you know, goes into eternity rather than just being natural.
Speaker A:And temporary, man.
Speaker A:Next time a symptom comes up in your body, maybe you've got one now.
Speaker A:Point at it with your bony little finger and say, I doubt you.
Speaker A:I don't believe you.
Speaker A:I doubt you.
Speaker A:You have no reason to exist.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:We start to doubt your doubts.
Speaker A:Pain.
Speaker A:I doubt you.
Speaker A:You have no power over me.
Speaker A:Pain, symptom.
Speaker A:You have no power over me.
Speaker A:Who do you think you are, man?
Speaker A:Your body is one part of you, and yet it's like the tail wagging the dog.
Speaker A:Some of us, every time we get an acre of pain and the tails wagging the dog.
Speaker A:No, we start.
Speaker A:Need to start speaking back.
Speaker A:Speaking back to that symptom.
Speaker A:You know, in the natural.
Speaker A:The promise to Abraham and Sarah to have many descendants was totally impossible.
Speaker A:They had to go by the five words that God had spoken them, spoken to them.
Speaker A:So shall your descendants be and count, God faithful.
Speaker A:And the minute that Abraham counted, put trust in those five words.
Speaker A:The minute God was able to make it manifest.
Speaker A:Why?
Speaker A:Because that's the minute he stepped from hope into faith.
Speaker A:That was the moment when he said, so shall my seed be so.
Speaker A:So shall it be to me.
Speaker A:When he believed those words in his heart, it was like he was grabbing onto that doorknob of faith and twisting and pulling that door wide open.
Speaker A:He stepped from a place of believing into a place of receiving.
Speaker A:You know, the process of your heart becoming fully persuaded.
Speaker A:It's a journey, and it does not have to be a long one.
Speaker A:For us, it took a couple of weeks, you know, because we had a lot of junk in the tank.
Speaker A:We had a lot of wrong doctrine.
Speaker A:We had a lot of just negative stuff to overcome.
Speaker A:But for you, it can be in an instant.
Speaker A:Now, faith is now.
Speaker A:Faith is what can you believe God for?
Speaker A:Right now, I'm about to pray for you.
Speaker A:What can you believe to change in your body the minute, the second, the nanosecond that I pray for you?
Speaker A:Think about this.
Speaker A:This is a rhetorical question.
Speaker A:What are you believing to change the minute I pray for you?
Speaker A:Put it in the comments.
Speaker A:What are you believing is going to change in your body the second that I pray for you?
Speaker A:Right?
Speaker A:Think about this before you type it.
Speaker A:Think about it, because it might not be the thing that's going to kill you the most.
Speaker A:Think about it.
Speaker A:Is the pain going to go?
Speaker A:Is the swelling going to go down?
Speaker A:Is your vision going to become more clear?
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:I mean, think about it.
Speaker A:Put it in the comments.
Speaker A:What can you believe God to change the minute that I pray for you?
Speaker A:That very Second, not.
Speaker A:Oh, you know what?
Speaker A:It's just going to get better in a moment.
Speaker A:But with that very thing, I'm looking for something tangible.
Speaker A:Tangible.
Speaker A:Anxiety.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Yeah, that's good.
Speaker A:So you can believe.
Speaker A:For the anxiety to go, Right.
Speaker A:So for.
Speaker A:For that.
Speaker A:That anxiety is a big word, but it has a symptom, right.
Speaker A:So there's probably a symptom of anxiety.
Speaker A:So think about what is the symptom of anxiety that is going to leave rather than just that big word.
Speaker A:Maybe it's the heart rate coming down.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Maybe it's the.
Speaker A:Just the.
Speaker A:The fear of doom leaving you.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Actually, be specific.
Speaker A:We got here, lumps going down.
Speaker A:Absolutely.
Speaker A:Healing from depression.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Again, depending on.
Speaker A:Depression is a big encompassing word.
Speaker A:So what.
Speaker A:What is a symptom of depression?
Speaker A:Not just the whole thing.
Speaker A:What is a symptom of depression that you can believe to go.
Speaker A:The minute that I pray for you, nail it down.
Speaker A:Because depression's too big.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:It has too many things in it.
Speaker A:Be specific.
Speaker A:Right hand.
Speaker A:Yes, working right hand.
Speaker A:So strength coming back in your hand.
Speaker A:Thesis.
Speaker A:Vision becoming clearer.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:Spinal and pelvic dysfunction again.
Speaker A:That's too big.
Speaker A:Too big.
Speaker A:That's a whole.
Speaker A:That's a whole.
Speaker A:A whole thing.
Speaker A:Think of one thing, one aspect of that spinal or pelvic dysfunction.
Speaker A:Something that is not working, that you can believe to change.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Maybe you'll be at a bend or maybe you'll have feeling somewhere.
Speaker A:Maybe paralysis is going to leave.
Speaker A:Maybe you'll be able to control your bladder in some way.
Speaker A:I don't know.
Speaker A:You.
Speaker A:You tell me.
Speaker A:Tight shoulders will release.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:Eyes.
Speaker A:Well, what about your eyes?
Speaker A:What about, you know, be specific because this is painting a picture on the inside of you.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Pain relief.
Speaker A:Yep.
Speaker A:Pain going down.
Speaker A:Okay.
Speaker A:Get pain and fibroid.
Speaker A:But the more specific that you can be, the more you.
Speaker A:The more you can reach out and grab a hold of it.
Speaker A:By the eyes of faith.
Speaker A:Tinnitus.
Speaker A:To stop.
Speaker A:Yes, that ringing.
Speaker A:To stop.
Speaker A:Okay, so cancer will die.
Speaker A:Let me just hone in for it.
Speaker A:Feel for a moment when we say cancer, right.
Speaker A:I want you to see, because if you've got cancer in your body, you've probably seen an image.
Speaker A:You've probably seen, you know, an MRI or PET scan or an X ray or something.
Speaker A:It could be a mass.
Speaker A:It could be tiny little cells.
Speaker A:You can start to, in your mind, attack yourself.
Speaker A:See those cancer cells shrinking, shrinking, shriveling up like you're.
Speaker A:Like you're, you know, pouring hot water in an ant's nest, right?
Speaker A:Suddenly that little, you know, it's.
Speaker A:They're shriveling up.
Speaker A:Neuropathy.
Speaker A:Okay, well, what does that mean?
Speaker A:What does that mean?
Speaker A:What, what does it.
Speaker A:Do you mean like that the tingling sensation is going to go, or do you mean like the burning is going to go?
Speaker A:Be really specific because when we use these big, you know, terms that the doctor gives us, it doesn't help us in the realm of faith.
Speaker A:Be specific.
Speaker A:Being able to get pregnant.
Speaker A:There you go.
Speaker A:Imagine yourself conceiving.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Imagine that conception, that sperm.
Speaker A:See it on the inside.
Speaker A:Those two.
Speaker A:Those two aspects coming together and making a fusion.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Greg says my mother's mental aging and decline.
Speaker A:Okay, again, really big.
Speaker A:So how about we.
Speaker A:We boil it down into something a little bit more tangible.
Speaker A:Maybe she'll remember your name.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Maybe she'll have more lucid moments.
Speaker A:What can you believe for have a specific starting point?
Speaker A:Travis is.
Speaker A:I believe the left side of my body is not going to be painting anymore.
Speaker A:Painting anymore.
Speaker A:I don't know if you mean pain or maybe pain.
Speaker A:All nerves are going to stop sending false signals.
Speaker A:So the pain.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Ultimately, the deviated septum is straightened out.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Straightening up, pain to go.
Speaker A:High blood pressure.
Speaker A:Blood pressure coming down.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Clear vision, no cloudiness.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:Come on.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:This is really important.
Speaker A:Lyme disease, when you have something that is just simply a big medical condition, boil it down into something that you can see.
Speaker A:Scar tissue on the optic nerve in the retina will leave.
Speaker A:Yes.
Speaker A:I don't know when you said that.
Speaker A:I'm imagining like peeling it off.
Speaker A:Like it's being peeled away.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:Balancing hormones.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:I don't know what that looks like.
Speaker A:Maybe you've got a picture of that.
Speaker A:Start to see red blood cells healed.
Speaker A:Yeah, I can see red blood cells being healed right now.
Speaker A:I have a picture in my mind of red blood cells going back into that normal concave shape and multiplying.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:I mean, I don't know if that, that, that's.
Speaker A:That your situation, but that's what I'm seeing.
Speaker A:Restless legs calmed.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:So like when you're laying down in bed or laying down on the couch or whatever, right.
Speaker A:You're not feeling that jittery.
Speaker A:You just seeing them settle down.
Speaker A:Tightness in the head gone.
Speaker A:Yeah.
Speaker A:You know, I see Angelica with tightness in the head.
Speaker A:It's almost like a band around your head and something just snipping it coming along with a pair of scissors and just snipping the band.
Speaker A:Right.
Speaker A:It literally, the more specific that I, that I am with things, the better.
Speaker A:I see things.
Speaker A:Alopecia gone, hair follicles restored.
Speaker A:You know, our daughter, she had a situation when she was nine years old.
Speaker A:She had alopecia.
Speaker A:Huge section of hair fell out the back of her head.
Speaker A:And God told me to be specific with her, write down scriptures, put her name in it, and tell her in the morning when you wake up, Hannah, go check.
Speaker A:And those hair, those hairs will grow like little hedgehog hairs.
Speaker A:They're going to grow overnight.
Speaker A:You know, ladies, when you.
Speaker A:It's been a couple of days since you shaved your legs and those little prickly hairs are growing through, or guys, when you haven't shaved your beard and it's coming through like stubble, it's going to be like that, right?
Speaker A:And so she had a picture in her head of what to look for.
Speaker A:Faith sees things.
Speaker A:So when she went the next day and looked in the mirror, sure enough, overnight, those little hedgehog cares, baby hairs are starting to grow through.
Speaker A:She could feel them, right?
Speaker A:Alopecia can be just like that.
Speaker A:So Alicia says, no visible swelling in the knee and near the.
Speaker A:The left eyebrow, right?
Speaker A:Inflammation is going to go down.
Speaker A:My lungs are being made whole.
Speaker A:Okay, Donna, well, what does that look like?
Speaker A:How can you see.
Speaker A:See that happening?
Speaker A:Swelling gone, right?
Speaker A:Amen.
Speaker A:So now you've got that picture, are you ready to receive?
Speaker A:I want you to do something for me.
Speaker A:Put your hand on the area that you just called out there, right?
Speaker A:Whether it's on your nose or in your foot or your knee or your lungs, right?
Speaker A:Put it on your chest, whatever.
Speaker A:Put your hand there because I'm about to speak to that.
Speaker A:And that power is going to go into the words just as you saw it, and it's going to have an effect immediately.
Speaker A:Immediately.
Speaker A:Now, some of these things are going to go on the inside where you can't see them yet, and they're going to work from the inside out.
Speaker A:So you're going to hold on to it by faith.
Speaker A:You know, Hebrews 6:12 says, by faith and patience, we inherit the promises.
Speaker A:So you ready?
Speaker A:Put your hand there right now.
Speaker A:In the name of Jesus, we just release healing power into this body part in Jesus name.
Speaker A:And we command every sin symptom, every swelling, every ache, every pain, every visible sign to go in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Leave in Jesus name.
Speaker A:We command those blood vessels to be normal.
Speaker A:We command the immune system to be strong.
Speaker A:We command the swelling to go down, the fluid retention to leave the redness to go in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Whole lungs ringing in the ears.
Speaker A:Tonight to stop in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Tonight to stop in Jesus name.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:Now.
Speaker A:Thank you.
Speaker A:There's nerves that need to be turned off.
Speaker A:We turn off that pain signal.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:We turn off that tingling.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:That burning.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
Speaker A:We command those lesions to be peeled off.
Speaker A:Those scar tissue to be peeled off.
Speaker A:In Jesus name.
